I love the way it makes my hair feel and shine. I also like knowing that I can use this on my color treated hair and it doesnt make it fade--just gives it more bang for my buck when I use it. It helps my color last about an extra week each time I dye it. Effectiveness Its extremely effective in keeping my color fresh and shiny. It helps keep my brunette color vibrant and new looking Scent I havent really noticed anything special about the aroma of this shampoo. But at least it doesnt smell bad like other shampoos. Its pleasant.

I received a larger than normal sample sachet, which was 10 ml (.33 fluid ounces), of Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions Shampoo. As my hair has blonde highlights, I got this for my husband, as he has brown hair. It used to be black when I first knew him.I got to use this on his hair, just after he slipped down the stairs in Boston. Because of the continual bleeding on his elbows, due to the three blood thinners he takes, I didn't want these areas to get wet. We did the old fashioned washing of the hair over the bathtub. I wet Len's hair, and then tore off the top of the sachet. The shampoo is a pearlized off white color. It is creamy. I put it into the palms of my hands, and then rubbed it into Len's hair. It lathered really well, and I added just a tiny bit more water, to get an even better lather. I rinsed it off, and the lather came out real easy. His hair looked really clean. As it was a big sample, and Len has lost some of his hair, I only used half the sachet. His hair was so soft that it didn't need a conditioner either. If it had been my hair I would have used the whole thing.Len does color his hair, and when it was dry, it did look brighter than normal.He uses Head & Shoulders at least a couple of times a month, and then whatever shampoo I give him. However, if Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions Shampoo has a good price, and a coupon as well, I will certainly purchase it for him. Effectiveness Cleaned Len's hair, and left it baby soft. Scent Floral, fresh scent.

I got my first sample of Pantene Brunette Expressions at Walmart. It took a while before I used it and when I did I was amazed at the improvements to my hair. I do not dye or perm my hair so it is all natural. This shampoo is wonderful. I don't even need to use the conditioner very often. Other shampoos cause my head to break out with bumps but I haven't had one bump on my scalp since switching to Brunette Expressins. It is so good that I bought my son the Blonde Expressions to control his unruly hair and when he uses it his hair looks great. I buy the light Blonde Expressions for my husband who has grey hair and it makes his hair look thicker and shiny and healthy. I have been using this shampoo for five or six years and wouldn't go back to other shampoos again.

This shampoo, Pantene Brunette Expressions, is not all it is cracked up to be. Most of what it claims to do is simply hype. It did enhance my brunette color, but mainly because of the added build- up and greasiness. There is a conditioner that is supposed to accompany this product by the same name, but I can only assume that the conditioner adds more build- up and not much more color- enhancement. Pantene Pro- v usually works pretty well when used only occasionally and not daily, but I do not think that Pantene Brunette Expressions will be added to my morning routine! I noticed both Blonde- enhancing and Red hair- enhancing shampoos and conditioners from this same line on the store shelf and would be interested in someone else's opinion on how well these both functioned. In the Shampoo's defense, it did give body to my naturally limp hair (most likely also due to the added build- up) and enhanced my naturally dull hair's shine. I have also tried the Suave brand's product line specifically for brunette hair, and Pantene definitely wins, and it is definitely the most competitively priced product on the market with these claims.

Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions is a color enhancing shampoo for daily use. It's made for color-treated hair, or for hair in any brown color. Brunette Expressions is supposed to enhance the color of your hair (brown shades, of course). It works with liquid crystals that will help reveal the tone, depth and vibrancy for your hair color. The shampoo will also protect hair against daily damages and improve how light shines in the hair, making the hair shinier and softer. The question is, does the shampoo live up to its promises? My husband, who colors his hair dark brown, has used this shampoo for one or two years. It gives him a beautiful clean hair, but I really can't tell any improvement in his hair color from before he used it and now. I even asked him to stop using it for a month before writing this review, and I still couldn't tell any difference. Maybe a month was too short for any changes to occur, I don't know, but I doubt the efficiency of the shampoo's color enhancing. But there are no doubts about the cleaning qualities of this shampoo - it cleans efficiently, smells very good and leaves hair soft, clean and fragrant. If I'd just reviewed the shampoo's cleaning effect, I would have given it 5 stars, but it gets less stars because it makes promises it really can't deliver: The shampoo smells good and cleans your hair well; but I can't see any color enhancing effects or any extra shine.

I like the shampoo, thought it did a great job of cleaning my hair and adding a little boost to my color. But I have to admit I went back to a different Shampoo later. But I would reccommend it to anyone.

I have continuously highlighted and dyed my hair over the last 15 years or so. About a year ago, I decided to let all of the highlights grow out and go with just my natural color. I was a little skeptical, because I remembered having very dark brown hair, which I never felt was very exciting. I swtiched from the Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions Shampoo to the Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions Shampoo. I really just anticipated leaving my hair it's natural color for 6 months or so, allowing it to become healthy again, and giving myself a break financially. However, after almost a year, I have no urge to go back to dying my hair. The brunette expressions shampoo brings out natural highlights in my hair that I haven't seen it years! And instead of leaving it a flat brown color, it pulls out all types of deeper highlights, leaving my hair with many shades of brown throughout! I sometimes switch up shampoos, just to give my hair a break, and I can always tell when I am not using the Brunette Expressions- the effect is obvious! For a few bucks, versus a monthly trip to have my hair dyed, I am definately sold!

I have three kids three and under and, I'm afraid to say, showers and hair washing have become a luxury. I shower every other day (partly because I'm so busy but mostly because my naturally dry skin needs a break from daily showers in the winter or it gets too dried out).  And I only wash my hair twice a week (again, too busy and too dry otherwise). A few months back I got my hair cut and tried a new coloring process called a "glaze".  It adds in health factors, slightly colored my hair to get rid of summer bleach out, and doesn't require the costly maintenance of getting my hair died every few weeks. As a busy mom who doesn't like to spend exuberant amounts on my hair, I'm keen to keep my color as long as possible.  I used the small bottles of "color conserve" shampoo that I bought when i colored my hair and then switched to the MUCH less expensive Pantene to help with color. I wouldn't say I "LOVE" this shampoo, but I would say it works great.  My color is staying nicely and my hair feels clean without feeling stripped or oily afterward.  Still very pretty color, still nice shiny hair and still very manageable hair.

I tried Pantene Brunette because I wanted to give my hair the shine that it deserved.  I was tired of all of the products for Blondes and was excited to see a hair product specifically for Brunettes. Having watched the commercials of models with bouncy, beautiful shining hair, I was excited to get home and use my new shampoo.  Imagining my hair to have the shine and control management of the girls in the commercials, I was disappointed when I dried my hair and it wasn't like the description, even after using it repeatedly.  I didn't feel as if it did anything more than my regular old Pantene shampoo does for my hair.  I think that some of the products are too gimicky and the original is still the best.  However, Pantene does do wonderful things to the body of my hair and it does make my hair shine.  I guess the real product that I am unhappy with is the commercials and advertisements because clearly the models did not just use the shampoo and conditioner for their hair to be that shiny!

One bottle...easy and fast.  I'm always happy to find a multipurpose product which really works.  This product is inexpensive, smells good, works beautifully, rinses out completely, ...there's nothing not to like.
