I've been using mini bottles of this shampoo and its matching conditioner for about a week now. While I was disappointed in the conditioner because it didn't do everything I want a conditioner to do, I'm really impressed with the shampoo! I don't really have any problems with this product, but I would give it 5 stars if it was made with natural ingredients and had a better scent. Everything else about this shampoo is great - cleans hair well and leaves it shiny and soft! Effectiveness Pantene Pro-V Color Hair Solutions Color Preserve Shine Shampoo really does leave your hair shiny after using. I've been using the shampoo with the matching conditioner and have gotten excellent results. This shampoo lathers really well and leaves my hair really clean and soft. I color my hair so a product that could help extend the life of my color is fabulous, but I get my hair highlighted, which is basically bleach, so I can't tell if this does anything for color or not since bleach doesn't fade. A dark color of hair would be the perfect test for this.

I have never been a big fan of Pantene until I received the sample for Pantene Color Preserve shine shampoo from Vocalpoint. I have fine hair, thats not what they tell me when I get it cut, and of course I prefer to be a blonde, they do have more fun, don't they! I have used many different brands of shampoos and conditioners and none has worked as well as Pantene Color Preserve Generally after coloring, the color starts looking brassy in a couple of weeks. Well using the color preserve shampoo has kept my hair shiny and the color lasts almost till I am ready to color again. Having short hair it doesn't take but a quarter size of shampoo to get a great lather either. The shampoo has a nice fragrance and is not over powering. Even before using the conditioner my hair feels good and not as tangly as usual. The conditioner is as good as the shampoo, but thats another story. I am sold on this product and will continue to use it. Effectiveness Very effective, I have found that it does live up to keeping color and shine longer than most other blonde shampoos. Scent Shampoo has a nice light fragrance, not overpowering, which is a no no for me.

In this day of economic worry, I am one of those households that watches their budget very closely.  That being said, I also like to use quality products, especially ones that I feel I'm getting for a good value.  I feel that the Pantene line of products fits the category of high quality AND good value.  I color my hair, so I also need to pay attention to what type of shampoo I am using to protect my hair and prolong my color.  I have found that I really like Pantene Pro-V Color Preserve Shine shampoo.  This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean, but not stripped of natural oils that are necessary for the health of my hair.  It shampoo itself feels very light and doesn't feel like it's coating my hair or leaving it with a nasty residue.  The shampoo quickly works itself into a nice lather and actually feels like it is work, cleaning my hair.  This shampoo leaves my hair healthy and shiny, and doesn't fade my color.  And it smells pleasant, which is always a plus!

When I spent the money to get my hair colored by a professional for the first time, I thought it faded much too fast. This product is a staple in my household. Not only do I use it, but my daughter and my husband also do too. What my husband has discovered, is that not only can he use this product to wash his hair, he also uses it as a shaving cream. It sounds crazy, but true. Pantene is affordable, is on coupon from time to time, and it smells fantastic. Sometimes drugstore brand shampoos don't even compare to salon products. But with this brand, you will surely be satisfied. I have bought this product since it first came out and will continue to do so as long as its on the market, which I hope is forever. Having extremely fine hair, I can't use a lot of those extra hair products to add shine like a leave in conditioner, so i rely on a good quality shampoo to add shine and this definitely does that! I've been a long time user of pantene products and this is one of their better products. A little goes a long way and it lathers very quickly, which i love. I love being able to use a small amount of product because it saves me money, which we're all lookihg for ways to do in this economy. It leaves my hair smelling great as well as vibrant and voluminous, and that's exactly what i want for my fine, dull hair. Pantene products are a bit more expensive than some other brands but i think it's worth the extra cost for the results that you get. I've been to salons in the past that charge you an arm and a leg for "extra shine" and this shampoo gives you the same results for a fraction of the price. I only hope they don't stop making it like they sometimes do for their products.

I am 20 years old and dye my hair as often as I possibly can, while keeping it healthy.  I'm very into the copper browns and reds at the moment.  Because I have some natural red tint to my brown hair, reds catch on quite nicely for me.  Unfortunately, they also fade very quickly.  I've been searching for a shampoo in my price range that can help preserve my color, and THIS IS IT!  I have thick hair and love volume, as well.  This shampoo not only preserves my color, but it helps pump up the volume AND leaves a nice shine!  DEFINITELY worth trying!

I am not im pressed with the shampoo at all i bouth the big bottle from costco and have been using it for the last 3 weeks, i notice it makes my hair frizzy instead of shiny, also my color still faded i didnt see any extention on the color at all.

I have used Pantene products on and off for years now- so when Pantene started advertising for their new line of shampoos and conditioners, I was ready to give it a whirl. I have long, thick, naturally curly hair. Sometimes I will blow dry it straight- but when I do, my hair looks really dull. So, I knew I wanted to try the Shine Preserve Shampoo and Conditioner. I'm really bad to judge a shampoo first on its scent. If it smells yucky, I tend to drop it then and there....so I'm big on smell. This stuff smells great! It lathered up so well during the wash and my hair felt so squeaky clean! After using both shampoo and conditioner, I put it to the real test and dried my hair straight. I was amazed at how shiny my hair was. I can honestly say that my hair has never had such great shine. And the smell was still fabulous...long after the wash! My hair also felt really smooth after using this shampoo- which is a huge plus. This shampoo is a little pricey, but Pantene has really done a great job with this formula. I'll be happy to pay extra for a great product any time...and this one is definately worth it!
