Pantene Color Revival is the only shampoo I use. It really does work to protect your hair and make the color last. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with color treated hair. Other family members use it too and it works fine on their uncolored hair. It also has a clean fresh scent that lasts in your hair all day.That is an added bonus. I have been using this shampoo for years. I have tried other shampoos but have always went back to using this one. I have also tried salon products and have not found one I liked as well as the Pantene Color Revival Shampoo. Besides the fact that salon products are much more expensive! I also like the bottle it comes in with a snap on lid. It is very handy to use and it sits flat and does not tip over. The snap on lid makes it much more convenient to use in the shower. I have never been unsatisfied with any Pantene product I have ever bought. (-:

I bought this Color Revival shampoo because it was on sale and I have tried other Pantene products that I loved. I like this shampoo but I cannot say that I have noticed much of a difference in this formula vs. the other formulas for hair that Pantene offers. I don't see or feel any noticeable difference in my hair color lasting or my hair looking more healthy than when I used a non-color formula. I like Pantene shampoos in general so I do not dislike this product...I am just not sure it is truly a lot different. Also, it feels like it may leave a little bit of a residue in my hair. Perhaps it is a conditioner or something. It does not make it look any different (like oily or dirty) but it just feels a little different once I rinse the shampoo out. I would not rush back out to get this product but I will finish what I have.

I purchased Pantene Pro-V Color Revival Shampoo because I have both highlights and lowlights that are done in a salon. However I have noticed that my color is fading more rapidly than it should. I am pretty consistant with going to the salon every six weeks and since starting using Pantene Pro-V Color Revival Shampoo I see fading sooner than I should. I really do love the scent and believe it does a great job as a shampoo,however I don't see it as saving me money by extending the life of my color treated hair.

Pantene Pro-V Color Revival Shampoo has really done wonders for my hair! Now that I've had to start coloring my hair because it has started graying, I had to find a shampoo that wouldn't cause my hair to look dry and frizzy and the color wouldn't fade so easily. Well my husband brought home Pantene Pro-V color revival shampoo because he didn't know what kind of shampoo I had been using. Well first of all it made my hair smell so fresh and clean, I also noticed once my hair was dry it was dry and frizzy. I didn't have redo my gray hair for six weeks! Normally I have to redo it every two weeks! I am so amazed at how much more lively my hair looks since I've been using the Pantene Pro-V color revival shampoo! But what I love the most about the Pantene Pro-V color revival shampoo is the fact that I don't have to redo my gray roots as often as I was before I started using the Pantene Pro-V color revival shampoo!

It's very expensive to go to the salon and get my hair frosted or colored. When I found the Pantene Pro V Revial shampoo I tried it not expecting to much. I was very suprised, after at least 8 shampoos my color still looked good. I normally get a color every three months, but I can wait for 4 or 5 months now. That's a big savings, giveing the credit to Pantene Pro V color Revial shampoo.

I have tried other shampoos for color treated hair, BUT, none of them even compare to this shampoo and rinse by Pantene.  It actually protects my color!!!  REALLY protects it. My color does NOT "wash out" in one or two shampoos, the color actually lasts over four weeks!! It also wont dry your hair out like other shampoos.  I highly recomment this shampoo and creme rinse for anyone that has colored their hair.  Its outstanding AND affordable.  You wont be disappointed!

My hair, nor scalp, are usually oily. I have very dry, coarse hair, and oiliness has never been a problem for me. After using Pantene Pro V Shampoo for Color Revival, however, I experienced scalp and hair oiliness for the first time. Not fun! I love the Pantene scent...whatever it is, it is plain ol' amazing! While I was shampooing, my hair felt very silky and very smooth, a rarity for coarse textured hair. After shampooing, though, is another story. Very oily. It makes me sad, to be honest...I would love for my hair to smell like Pantene all day long! I received this as a hand-me-down from someone who didn't want it anymore (I wonder why...), so I will probably hand it down to some one else, but with a warning first. This shampoo has potential; it really does. I just wish that it had potential for me and my hair. I would tell people to purchase it where you can return it if necessary. You never know.

I bought this when I was looking to replace another shampoo/conditioner and saw this on sale and decided to get it.  I used to use pantene products for years before this and previous stopped using the one just for black hair but that one left too much build up on my hair.  This product is really nice because it doesn't leave a bunch of product on my head nor does it feel heavy.  It's even better than the other ones that I bought recently.  Plus it does have a pleasant scent, nice to see them come out with one that works and keeps the color longer.

This shampoo smells great.  I love to try new colors on my hair and have been using this shampoo since coloring my hair red and pink.  I think it is holding my color in better than a standard run of the mill shampoo.  Had a lot of pink suds with another shampoo but since I switched it doesn't seem to be getting the same pink suds as before. But more than I would like. The more I am using this shampoo and the more I have colored my hair I need to down grade my rating of this shampoo.  It doesn't hold the color like I would like and I am having to re-color my hair more often than I would like.  I know if I keep coloring my hair it will eventually burn it, so I really want to do this cautiously and that means taking care of the color I have.  I have also learned through this process that any shampoo with sulfate will strip your hair of the grease, dirt, AND color.  That is what sulfate is supposed to do, and Pantene has it in their shampoo.  You really need a sulfate-free shampoo to preserve your color.  So I am down grading my rating but I still love Pantene products just not to preserve my color.
