Pantene Pro-V Texturize is wonderful.  I went to a very well known salon to have my hair colored, cut and styled.  When I left the salon (never to return) my hair had been over processed with the color and it slowly began to break off.  My hair texture could be descibed as that of an Indian dencent woman.  My cousin was the person that told me to use Pantene and no heat on my hair.  The latter was not a problem because I very seldom used the curing iron and the blow dryer. I began to see my hair return to it's nature state and I was very greatful.  Not just for my cousin's great advise but PANTENE'S WONDERFUL PRODUCT,

Pantene Texturize  shampoo is the BEST! I have short, textured hair and I wasn't sure at first that I really thought a shampoo could help my hair. But this really does help lend shape to it and allow me to style it easier.  I am used to spending very little on shampoo and conditioner  and the price of Pantene Texturize seemed even a little high for me.  However, it is money well spent. The bottle lasts a very long time and is well worth it.  I find my hair much easier to style now.  It helps to make it chunky or spikey, whichever I feel like that day.  My hair never feels like it has a residue on it and always feels clean. The smell of the formula is good and not too overpowering.  My hair always looks, feels and smells clean.  So for the price combined with the excellent cleaning power and management of my wavy, short and spikey hair, this Pantene Texturize certainly does the job! I would highly recommend this to anyone with short, fun hair!

This Pantene Pro V Texturize shampoo in my opinion is....average.  I found it at my local supermarket, I had coupons and I needed shampoo.  Plus I liked the sound of it--texture and body and bounce--why wouldn't I give it a shot?  First off--the scent is amazing.  It is the signature Pantene scent, which is hard to describe to a non-Pantene user.  It's not over powering, it rinses cleanly out of the hair and only lasts the duration of your shower--so anyone who is afraid of lingering scents, don't worry! This shampoo itself is goopy.  I mean that in it is not thick, nor too liquid-y.  It is kind of tacky I suppose.  It spreads easily and does a fairly decent job of cleansing the hair, but I saw no extra texture or body or bounce or definition in my hair.  But it could be completely different for your hair.  Hair reacts differently to all sorts of things, so go for it.  I still used it, because it's Pantene--it makes my hair soft, smooth, healthy and manageable--that's all I ask.

I was very disappointed by Pantene Pro-V Texturizing Shampoo. The bottle says it is an essential prep step for a lifted and layered style.  I even bought the Pantene Pro-V texturizing spray way and texturizing pomade.  I feel the products leave my hair very greasy and do not lift or layer my hair.  I  can't tell you how many products I have tried to lift my hair and give it life.  They all fall short.  I do like the price of Pantene Pro-V but it doesn't do what it says it does.  So really what good is a low price if the product doesn't work.  The Pantene Pro-V bottle says it is specially designed to improve texture without weighing hair down.  I feel like the product does weigh my hair down.  I wish I could find a product that doesn't cost much and does what it says it will do.  Why are products so misleading?  The Pantene Pro-V bottle says if you have short, medium or long hair and you want striking texture with defined chunks and layers then this is the  product for you.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the defined chunks and layers that I so desperately wanted and bought the product for.  So I definetely do not recommend this product to anyone.

This is an excellent shampoo that leaves your hair feeling clean without being stripped. It adds extra volume, bounce,  and texture to any hairstyle. Pantene texturizing shampoo smells good and leaves hair shiny and soft. I would use this shampoo daily to help my hairstyle stick out from the rest.  This shampoo does not leave behind any residue and does not cause dandruff and is actually quite suitable to help stop dandruff from forming. This shampoo can also be used with other brands of conditioners and still shows through with a winning performance in your hairstyle.  My hair has never been so shiny, flake-free, bouncy, and healthy.  It actually works for my hair instead of working against it. I would recommend this shampoo product to anyone willing to try it and the price is also very affordable as well. It is worth every penny and is a good value for what you actually get in the bottle as well.  This shampoo can last 2-3 months.
