Lovely product

5

I occasionally use The Detangler for conditioner, and more often in the winter when the air here is so dry. This conditioner makes my hair feel so soft and smooth after using. Don't be fooled because it's not terribly thick- this product works great. My mother used it on me when I was a kid with lots of curly hair and now that I've started using it as needed as an adult with wavy hair, I love it.

Great conditioner

5

This is a great conditioner for my hair in the summer months. I tend to do a lot of swimming in the summer and my hair gets dry and brittle from the chlorine. This product is amazing for making my hair feel smooth and silky, and keeping it healthy looking. I use this everyday in the summer and it helps to keep my hair from breaking and splitting. It gives my hair shine and protection from the heat. I love this product, especially during the hot summer months. I even use this on my daughters hair, it makes it so easy to comb and she never gives me a problem with brushing her hair when we use this conditioner. Effectiveness Great product, with excellent results. I saw excellent results immediately. I have fine hair and this product wasn't too heavy at all, it worked perfectly. Scent The scent is great. It is fragrant, but not too strong. It stays with your hair throughout the day until your next wash. I love the way this conditioner smells.

Does a pretty decent job

4

It's a good product from a good company and I really do think it does a good job of doing what it says it's going to do. It certainly helps detangle my hair and I really need that as I have long, fine hair that tangles easily. I love Paul Mitchell products in general. I do wish that it would eliminate any need for any additional detangling spray after showering. Sometimes I find myself needed the additional detangler. But this product certainly helps immensely. I just expected it to do 100% of what I needed, not 80%. Effectiveness It does what it says it does - it's a detangler and it does help get the tangles out. I still think it could do an even better job, though. I sometimes still need an additional spray detangler after I use this conditioner, which I think kindof defeats the purpose. Scent It smells like conditioner - a nice clean scent. A little boring, though. And I think it smells a little stale over time.

Paul Mitchell the Detangler leaves hair silky.

I have been using Paul Mitchell products for about 20 years.  Paul Mitchell The Detangler has been wonderful weather my hair was long or short.  It always leaves no tangles, but conditions my hair leaving is silky.  The great part is that it isn't a heavy product and since I have naturally curly hair and the product is light, it allows for my curls to spring to attention.  I really like how shiny it leaves my hair.  The conditioner doesn't build up and in the past I have had other products build up on my scalp until I was suffereing from an itcy scalp.  This leaves my scalp clean.  The price is really affordable.  It is of course more expensive that grocery store products, but as far as salon products go, it is reasonalbly priced.  It is priced on the lower end of Paul Mitchell products but is still better quality than grocery store products.  I would highly recommend this product for its quality, and moderate price.

Paul Mitchel Detangler For Soft Hair

5

I started using Paul Mitchell Detangler after going to one of the Paul Mitchell salons.  I have long hair thats thin but there is a lot of it.  Tangles were a problem for me so I asked for something that would help keep my hair from getting so tangled and the stylist recommended The Detangler.  I bought a small bottle to give it a try.  I was very impressed with the quality of the product and now purchase the large 33 oz bottle.  The conditioner also keeps my hair moisturized and very soft.  I also use their shampoo and love both products. Although the price is a bit more than drugstore condition it is well worth it.  You don't need much of the conditioner to get all the benefits.  Maybe the size of a quarter and my hair ends around the end of my shoulders.  You can get it at the beauty supply store and Paul Mitchell has specials where they bundle a shampoo and conditioner together at a better price.

Paul Mitchell The Detangler lives up to its name.

Well I have been using this product for about two months now, and let me tell you, it lives up to its name! I have somewhat fine (but very wavy/ poufy) hair, so this was the best product for me. It makes hair super SUPER soft, which is good if you do not want any volume whatsoever! But if you want lift on the roots or anywhere else, I would not suggest it. This conditioner is quite pricey too, but it is a good product and it is completely worth the cost.  Due to the fact that my hair is fine,  I get a lot of tangles in it.  This conditioner helps avoid tangles and allows me to easily detangle my hair when I use it.  The smell is not very pleasant.  It does not smell bad but it doesn't have a pleasant smell that you usually get with salon products. I have also noticed that my hair is more manageable, shinier and overall healthier. This conditioner will leave your hair soft but not greasy.  I love this product.

Tame tangles and condition without weighing hair down

I've tried many hair products over the years, and when I can't decide what to try next I always come back to Paul Mitchell Detangler.  In fact, I generally keep some on hand regardless in case what I try totally backfires and I need a standby to fill in. This is a great product for summertime when hair isn't as prone to dry out.  It's also great for oily hair like mine - it conditions the roots without making them totally limp and greasy.  In the winter I generally have to add a heavier conditioner to the ends and middle of my hair; but I still generally use this for the roots. This January was one exception; instead of using this every day I began washing my hair every 2nd or 3rd day and using dry shampoo in between.  That helped my hair keep it's natural oil to moisturize, saved water and time and worked just as well if not better than stripping my hair and building it back up.  This was more to tame my roots than anything, but I found using my hairs natural oil to my benefit helped keep it from getting over oily to compensate.  And it made the detangler work that much better in winter time, not to have my hair stripped of oil daily.
