I was a bit cautious about this when I first saw it although I normally love Philosophy's food scented shower gels. I did enjoy their peppermint shower gel so I decided to give this a try as well and am so glad I did! The mint is not cloying as one might imagine. It's a nice, fresh mint scent. More like a wintermint than a true peppermint or wintergreen. I find it quite refreshing, especially in the winter. As a shampoo it performs nicely, cleansing the hair thoroughly and rinsing out cleanly without leaving any residue. It leaves a very subtle hint of mint scent in your hair, which is nice to catch a whiff of during the day. As a shower gel it is at its best. It produces masses of luxurious bubbles when used with a shower pouf. It also leaves that nice scent on your skin. It also performs admirably as a bubble bath with lots of long lasting bubbles. I love this gel and if you love mint then this is for you too!

I love anything from Philosophy.  When I saw this in the store, I hesitated at first because mint sounded so pedestrian compared with the other products Philosophy offers.  But once I lifted the cap and smelled it, I just had to buy it.  I wasn't disappointed!  I love the versatility of these 3-in-1 products.  It's great to only have one bottle in the shower/bathtub instead of three.  I find that it works well for all three purposes--shampoo, bubble bath, and shower gel.  Maybe if you have specialized hair needs, it's better to stick with your regular shampoo though.  The lather is really thick and luxurious.  Although it is a little bit pricier than drugstore/mass merchandiser bath products, it does last a really long time, so to me, it's worth it.  The scent is great--strong, but not too strong.  It's surprisingly natural smelling and very invigorating when you're trying to get going in the morning.  My husband even uses this sometimes--one of the few products I have that's not too girly for him!
