This product is okay. But it works better as a shower gel, and a bubble bath than it does as a shampoo. If it was just a two in one, instead of a three in one I would give it a higher rating. Effectiveness This product works well as a shower gel, and as a bubble bath, but it sort of fell flat as a shampoo (And so did my hair after using it). To start off with, as a shower gel: This product gently cleans the skin without causing my skin to dry out. It lathers up nicely and you do not need a lot of product to clean a lot of yourself. It works great as a bubble bath, and makes your water smell like heaven. Serious suds without using a ton of the product. Now as a shampoo, I really did not care for it. It seemed to dry out my hair, and it just really felt like I was washing it with soap instead of washing it with a shampoo. I suppose if you were traveling and brought a great conditioner with you than this might be an "okay" shampoo to use. But I would not recommend this as a daily shampoo. Scent Oh my gosh, that scent. It smells like a little mini vacation. It's sweet, and fruity with out being overbearing. The smell lasts a while out of the shower but the scent seems to stay longer in the hair than on the skin.

I would love to give this product a perfect score since I really like Philosophy products overall. The fragrance as in all of there products is great. It is not too strong but yet you know it is there. It is great as a shower gel or bubble bath. Now as a shampoo it do not like it. When is use this product as a shampoo it seems to dry out my hair. While washing my hair you can feel that is has stripped some of the natural oils. I the would need to use a conditioner and loose the wonderful smell. I still like it for when I travel. I just need to pack one bottle for shampoo and shower gel. If it is not a long trip then my hair can tolerate the drying effect from using it as a shampoo. Effectiveness Since this review is supposed to be for how well it works as a shampoo I would have to give it only a 4. If the score was for the shower gel effectiveness then I would give it a 10. Scent The sent is wonderful. I live in Florida and the sent is perfect because it is very summery.

It might just be me, but I think this smells like bananas, not a melon daiquiri. I'm not complaining though, because I think this smells just phenomenal. It truly does smell good enough to eat. I don't use this as shampoo unless I'm in a pinch. I have dry and frizzy hair and I need something very moisturizing to take care of it, and this just doesn't do enough for me. I love it as body wash though. This product suds up really nicely so you don't need to use a lot at on time, which is a plus for however you want to use this product. One of the things I really love about Philosophy products is that scent lingers on your skin or in your hair for a long time after using them, so you can enjoy the scent more than just while you're in the shower. Because it's a three-in-one product it's convenient for traveling, you don't have to haul around multiple bottles when this one will do. As far as body washes (since that's what I use this as) go this is a bit of a splurge for me because of the price, but the smell was too good to pass up.

I love all Philosophy products because they smell so good and are so conveinent because they are pretty much an all in one product. The Philosophy Melon Daquiri Shampoo, Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath is one of my favorite scents. This product works really well as a shower gel and bubble bath. You only need to use a small amount, and it lathers really well. I don't love it as much as a Shampoo since I have really thick, wavy hair. This tends to make my hair have more volume and be harder to brush thru. It keeps it clean, but I would rather use a shampoo that works to keep my hair moisturized and shiny. I feel like the shampoo sort of makes my hair a little lifeless. The Philosophy brand is a little expensive, but I really think it's wort it since a bottle of this lasts forever. Scent I really like the smell of this Melon Dacquiri product. It has a fresh, fruity scent that keeps me smelling nice all day long.

This product smells wonderful just like all Philosophy products I've encountered. This 3-in-1 product lasts a long time no matter what you use it for most. I use it mostly for shower gel and bubble bath, but occasionally as shampoo. When I use it as shower gel, one little drop suds up a lot, enough to fully bathe in. When I use it for bubble bath, just a little stream as the water is running will give you enough product to sud the whole tub (and I have a garden style tub that is larger than a standard tub). You do have to swish it around a bit to get the suds going, but there will be so many suds you won't know how that many formed. I don't use it as shampoo very often because it tends to dry out the ends of my hair. When I do, I just use lots of conditioner and the ends to compensate for the dryness. I tend to have oily roots, so it really cleans my roots great. I think it's overall a great bubble bath and shower gel, not so much shampoo if you have dry hair.

I love the smell and it feels great on my skin as a shower gel. I tried it as shampoo and it totally dried my hair out. It even dried my 8 year old daughter's hair out. I would not recommend using it in your hair!! Nice on skin, however.

philosipy is the best shampoo i have ever used no other shampoo is like it it does not make my hair oily gives it body it is not expensive last along time smells great you really need to try it all the shampoos on the market are agimmick i have pretty much tried them all all their products are good everyone should try them it smells good my husband even uses it sometimes . i have bathed my cat in it too. when you use it your hair stays clean doesent get oily never had any problem with it all the other shampoos weight your hair down. it is to bad you have to buy it at a department store wish you could get it a grocery store. maybe one day but that i am sure is in the future. we all want our hair to smell good feel clean look nice and do not want it to frizz i guess i am devoted user and will never change. everyone out there should use it or at leat give it a try because it is the very best.
