I really like using all of the Philosophy Products, and I'm always looking to try out new lotions and facewashes that sound like they should work well. In the past I used the Philosophy Never let them see you shine scrub, and it does work really well to keep your face from getting oily. I tend to have combination skin, and this helps keep it from getting too oily throughout the day. I normally use this face scrub in the morning, and you only need to apply a small amount of the scrub. After using this face scrub, I put on Philosophy's Hope in a Jar. With the combination of this face scrub and the Philosophy Moisturizer, my skin stays moisturized and oil free. Sometimes if you let your skin get too dry that's when it gets oily, so these two products are the perfect combination. The only negative is that this product is a little expensive, but I think it's really worth it. When you buy their products online, there are typically discounts and free samples available with your purchases. Side Effects I don't have any sensitivity to this product.

I am a huge fan of Philosophy products, and this one didn't change that! I trust this product. It takes care of my skin fairly well, keeping not too oily and it doesn't dry it out either. It helps to create a good balance, and my skin looks healthier than before I used it.

Philosophy products are always great and the Never Let Them See You Shine scrub is no exception. First of all I love the clean, simple design of the bottle, it's cute and I like the color. Effectiveness My skin sometimes gets very oily especially in summer, and I hate to have a shiny nose and forehead. Powders and creams only take me so far and I was skeptical about a face wash that could reduce my shine but it really works. My skin feels moisturized but doesn't get oily and feels clean without being dry. Ease of Application The squeeze bottle is pretty standard for this type of product and I love the thick formula that comes out. SUper easy and no stress. Side Effects I didn't have any side effects while using this product. My complexion cleared up and my skin felt and looked great. Immediacy It seems to start working right away. My skin instantly felt clean and clear and there was a big reduction in the amount of pimples I had.

I love the scents of Philosophy's perfumes and the affimative quotes on the packaging, so I have been trying more of their products.  I used this cleanser at least once daily, and liked the results.  Unlike some mattifying face lotions I've used, this product doesn't feel "sticky" or too thick when I apply it, and seems to decrease shine on my normally oily/combination skin.  I often buy the lowest priced, drug store beauty products, but feel that this cleanser is worth the cost.  My skin care routine is attentive, but brief as I am always very busy and on the go.  This cleanser is a simple step in my skincare routine that seems to make a difference.  I have also used Philosophy's Purity Made Simple facial cleanser, and did not notice a difference.  Using their Hope in a Jar Original Formula for moisturizer not only didn't seem to improve my skin, but made it feel oilier.  The Never Let Them See You Shine line, however, has a lighter feel and I will continue to use these products.

I have combination skin so I have difficulty finding products that accurately control oil without leaving my skin feeling too dry.  I have always trusted Philosophy so I decided to try Never Let Them See You Shine because although I do get breakouts, shine is what bothers me more than anything.  The day the products arrived, I immediately tried them.  This cream cleanser left my skin feeling amazing!  The product description mentioned a "calm, cooling sensation," but I assumed it was an exaggeration.  However, my skin really did feel refreshed!  I tend to also have sensitive skin that reacts strongly (namely, turns bright red) to harsh formulas, but this product was extremely gentle.  Afterward, the notoriously dry areas of my face felt moisturized and the notoriously oily areas of my face felt smooth and dry!

I bought this product on the recommendation of a friend who has the clearest skin I've ever seen.  I think it's mostly genetic cor her, but I also that this has probably helped a bit.  You only need to use a little bit for it to work.  I use it in the shower at the end of the day to get all the grime and make up off my face and it does it well.  I get out and can feel the grease is gone and my skin isn't slippery at all.  I would recommend using an oil free moisturizer along with this scrub because sometimes your skin can go into over drive and make too much oil when face wash products like this are used.  It is very thick and not runny at all with little scrubbing particles and a very light scent that isn't medicinal at all.  There also isn't a tingly feeling that comes with the products that have menthol or any of the other acne medications and that's something I like.  All in all, I find this product worth the price.
