I purchased this deep fat fryer a year or two ago, primarily because our old fryer broke down - our last one wasn't a Dual Daddy. However, what I learnt from my last fryer was that my next one was going to be easy to clean! This is the main reason we picked this one. It heats up quickly and frys food to perfection. There's an insert you can place in a designated lip in the middle of the fryer in case you want to fry two different things at the same time. We are a family of four and whilst it does meet our "load", we sometimes have to fry things in two batches. The Dual Daddy is so easy to clean, you just unplug it, let it cool down (obviously!) and wipe the inside and outside down. You don't immerse it in water, you just need hot soapy water and a dish cloth. The only detrimental thing I can think of is that the electrical cord is only about 2 feet long and ideally, it would be 3 or 4 foot long. Currently when the lead is plugged in it is quite taught and I'd rather have a bit of slack. Other than this, we picked the perfect deep fat fryer.
