My husband purchased this treamill for me as a Christmas present and he and I both use it and love it. It is built to absorb shock and is easy on your knees and feet and makes the work out so much easier. It counts the calories that you have burned, records the distance/miles you have walked, and monitors your heart rate as well. The incline is easily adjusted with the push of a button. You can just walk or you can use what the manual refers to as the "upper body arms" to work out your arms, shoulder and back as well. You can also increase the resistance on the "upper body arms" by turning the resistance knobs.
