I've been familiar with the Purina brand for my whole life and when I found the Purina One Beyond , I was excited to find a New product from the Purina brand to try. What attracted me to try One Beyond, besides that it was a Purina product is that it has ingredients that I know what they are and can pronounce. This made me me feel better about trying the product even though it's a little pricier. The quality of food is so much better than other brands and even a little bit better than some of the other Purina types. After just a couple weeks of feeding this to my dog I can already see differences. It's improved his coat. I can tell he likes the food too because he's eating all of it as opposed to picking at like he has with other kinds of foods that he has had. My personal opinion is that this is worth the price. If we don't want ourselves and our kids to eat cruddy good then we might as well feed our dogs non cruddy food as well. It's a little more expensive, but it's a price that's worth it.

This is a better dog food than the Alpo brand of dog food that Purina makes. It advertises as having 9 simple ingredients and positively good for your dog, which I don't feel like it is. It does have ranch raised lamb, and whole grain barley. However, I don't think it's worth the price that I've found bought it for because I can find better brands of dog food for the same price as this is, while getting more for what I pay. Quality of Ingredients Now remember I said above that this is supposed to have 9 simple ingredients in this dog food and it's supposed to be good for dogs. The first ingredient in this food is a good ingredient as it's ranch raised lamb. The next ingredients in this dog food is chicken meal, whole barley, brown rice, whole oat meal, soybean meal, animal fat, brewers rice, and dried egg. I'm not finished, as the next ingredients in here is dried yeast, dried beet pulp, natural flavor, fish oil, caramel color, salt, and on down the list are fruits and vegetables. They also put whole blueberries, dried sweet potatoes and dried spinach in this food. That means this has much more than 9 simple ingredients, but you have to check the ingredients or you would think this is a good food for your dog. They put it right on the front of the package, which is why I bought it. I was stupid because by now I know to check the ingredient list. It has natural flavor which isn't a natural food and it's a lie to say so. This dog food isn't as bad as other dog foods that Purina makes, but I only bought it that one time and I feel that they lie when they put down that it has 9 ingredients. It's a deceitful way to mislead consumers by this statement and I won't trust a company that does this, which is also why I've rated this brand of dog food with a low score. For this one reason I have stopped buying Purina cat food as well, I will not support a company that lies. Flavor Selection My dog did like it, but he didn't like it as well as the Purina Alpo brand of dog food, which is probably because it's full of more junk-food for dogs to eat.

I love buying Purina One beyOnd dog food because you can always get it at such a great price! Sometimes I am on a budget and this food does not sacrifice quality in its affordable delivery. The first ingredient I always look for is meat and that is true for One beyOnd. It has less of the filler foods like corn that are not good for your dog and do not give them energy. It also has improved the look of my dogs coat after just one short month of feeding. I love to buy it and my dogs love to eat it. It keeps them full for the whole day and they do not beg. Probably because it has all the proper nutrients needed. The food keeps my dogs full of energy as well. I like that they come in different size bags also because I can still stock up, but keep the food fresh for longer by buying a larger quantity of smaller sized bags. This prevents waste also! I definitely recommend trying this awesome quality food!

This is a great product. I have a dog that needs grain free products and this does the trick very well. He loves the flavor, its healthy and grain free and it is reasonable to buy! I do believe this ranks right up there with foods costing 50.00. With todays economy its nice to have a product that is good for your pet and affordable. I would recommend this and many of there other treats as well. Quality of Ingredients Great ingredients, real meat, and grain free. This product doesn't have all those fillers and preservetives that others have. The first thing is meat. You alwasys want to see meat first. I think they use good ingredients and have seen a improvement in my dogs energy level and coat. Flavor Selection They make chicken, lamb and beef. It also has vegs. I would love to see maybe them add duck or combine a couple. They also have a fish product also. My dog eats his without having to add any canned or topper so he likes the flavor.

I recently received a small sample bag of this dog food in the mail. My mother received one as well and gave me hers. It was not enough for a full meal for my three dogs and I didn't want to mix it in and upset their stomachs by feeding a new food for just a day, so I gave it to them in small handfuls instead to let them taste it. To my surprise my dogs were convinced it was treat time instead of feeding time. After their first small handful all three dogs lined up and sat for me like I was handing out treats. My cats were even begging for a kibble. My regular brand is a high quality natural ingredient food, but it is not a mainstream brand so there are almost never sales or coupons available. With this food sales and coupons are almost constant, so I plan to try it out next time I can get a great deal on it. Quality of Ingredients I love that Purina has finally stepped up and put out a natural dog food with limited ingredients and no corn, soy, or wheat. The short and easy to read ingredient list is impressive and I am excited that I can finally get a 'grain free' food at mainstream retailers instead of making an extra stop for my dogs' food. Flavor Selection I have not shopped for this food yet to see if there are additional varieties available, but I'm not sure it matters. My dogs are loving the White Meat Chicken & Whole Barley Recipe flavor.

Switching dog foods should not be a thing to make the pet owner worry and yet we so often find ourselves wondering what we should do with our beloved pet. You hear all the horror stories on the news about what not to feed your animal and that this once safe product has killed pets. No one wants to go through that! With this product, reguardless of the name attached to it, I was completely hesitant to give it to my beloved pet. After talking with my vet as well as the pet store clerk, I was a bit at ease. My dog loved it from the get go. This once picky dog food eater was in heaven. He seemed to have more energy and seemed like he was in his puppy stages rather then the truth, a middle aged dog. His coat seemed brighter and shinnier and it seemed to even help with some of the many shedding issues we have had with him. On the down side, the one bad thing that I have noticed is that this product makes his breath STINK! even worse than normal dog breath..but if that is the only down side to this wonderful product, then I will gladly take it!!

I have a maltese which is a bit picky on which dog food he likes and I was pleasantly happy to find out he approves of this brand. It is made of meat which has protein and promotes a healthy immune system and strong muscles. It also contains rice, barley and some other grains. This is a great option for your dog food because unlike many dog food brands this does not contain corn as a filler. You can also choose between Lamb and Chicken, which are two pretty good options to choose from. I usually tend to go with the lamb flavor since I believe my little maltese likes it more. As for the price, if you look around you can find it at a good price. Make sure to search online or either in stores to make find it at a great price. The only down side to buying it is because it isnt as inexpensive as other dog food but I believe it is definitely worth it if my dog likes it. When it comes to a dogs satisfaction price shouldnt be a problem I believe. Quality of Ingredients My Maltese Loves it. Flavor Selection Loves the lamb flavor.

This is a very good alternative for my dogs that fits well into my budget. Purina One beyOnd Dog Food is a very good quality dog food and both of my dogs really like it. They do have some food allergies that bother them from time to time but not when they are eating Purina One Beyond. Not only do they really like this food but it really agrees with them. Their bathroom habits are very regular when they eat this dog food so I know that it is keeping their digestive system working properly. This dog food is also easy to find in most stores which is a huge plus for me, not only for convenience but also for price because it seems that I can usually find it on sale somewhere. This dog food is a little more expensive than some other brands but it is not overpriced especially when considering the quality of the dog food. I do switch between dog foods a lot to give my dogs variety but this is one of their favorites.

I am a big fan of the Purina brand of dog food. I have used many of their products in the past, both dry and wet pet food. I recently started using the Purina One beyOnd Dog Food after seeing it in the store. I knew the Purina brand dry dog food is a good high quality dog food and this one seemed just as high quality and maybe even better so I decided to try it. The flavor I use is the Ranch Raised Lamb and Whole Barley. I had never given my dog a lamb flavored food before so I wasn't sure if she would like it, but at the same time I thought she might enjoy something different. I am happy to say that she does really like it. The main thing I love about this dog food is there is no added unnecessary ingredients, there are just 9 natural ingredients in it. It has high quality meat, eggs, grains and carrots. All things that are healthy and good for your dog. This ingredients help to give my dog strong muscles and a heart to help her live even longer which is a huge plus for me. I am very happy with this dog food and will continue to use it.
