I love this car seat. So does my daughter. We upgrated to this one and the Britax Marathon after our daughter grew out of her Chicco infant seat. I have the one in the chili(red) color. It works great. And it is very safe and one of the most affordable car seats out their for its tier of car seat. Ease of Installation Super easy. Much easier than our other one. If you use the seatbelt and the the anchors. If you are just using the anchors then it is the same ease as ever other carseat that is like it. Child's Comfort Daughter loves it. No complaints from her. She sits high up and there is plenty of room for her in it. She can even put her head to the side and it is padded for her to nap. Support and Safety Follows all safety standards and keeps the baby tightly strapped in. Recaro makes performance car seats for race cars and custom cars and are safe for race cars at high speeds. They do a great job on their baby car seats. Ease of Use It has this white dotted line on the straps that is suppose to be pointed out so it never gets tangled. Design It is stylish and it is modern. Looks nicer than other carseats. Durability No complaints it will work for the next kid.

We love this seat. We researched many seats before deciding on the Recaro ProRide. We are extremely satisfied with the purchase. We have not been in a collision, so our safety review comes from sturdiness and seat construction materials (steel!) Ease of Installation Really easy to install compared to other seats we've tried. The seat clicks in place and is extremely secure. The adjustments of the straps and things are also easy to position. Child's Comfort We haven't heard any complaints! Kiddo has no trouble using the padding to take a snooze on longer trips. Support and Safety This is the main reason we bought this car seat. Recaro has been making professional race car safety seat for 100 years. They took all that experience and put it into a child car seat. It's like the kiddo has her own roll cage. It's amazingly secure. Ease of Use I love that you can securely clip in each strap individually. The only thing I am not wild about has to do with my car. When rear facing, this convertible car seat (and frankly, all convertible car seats we've tried) make it hard to get the baby in and out without bonking her head on the top of the car. Front facing, it is so easy to plop her in a buckle up. We have used this car seat in a general aviation airplane. Not a commercial flight. It clips into the airplane clip surprisingly securely, better than other seat we have tried. Design Let's face it, I bought a car seat to keep my kids SAFE in the event of a collision, not to accessorize. There are car seats out there with super cute fabric patterns or crazy gizmos and pockets, but they just don't have the safety we were looking for. Durability No tears or stains yet to test it out. The fabric is easy to clean and shop-vac.

We debated for a long time as to what convertible carseat to get for our son. We finally decided on the Recaro ProRide after a lot of research. We got the blue opal one and the color is beautiful. The seat itself is a bit narrower than the other one we were considering and all the space we can save in the back seat the better. I like that this seat can rear face to 35 pounds and forward face to 70 pounds (while still using the 5 point harness). My son likes that it sits up high so that he can see out the window. It is a bit hard to tighten the LATCH straps but once they are tightened, it is very secure. Its a bit ackward to reach around (to find a binky or whatnot when going down the road) because it is so big but I think that most convertible carseats, when they are rear facing, would be the same way. I really like the large side head supports. They support my sons head very well when he falls asleep in it. Overall, I am very happy with this seat.
