Great shaver

5

I've had 2 Lady Remington shavers. I had my first for many years. It still worked but didn't shave as well when I decided to get my new one. It's so convenient to use this razor. I am not able to use a blade razor because of a disability. Having this battery operated razor is perfect. I use it on dry legs and it works very good. I have also used it in the shower. After each use I take the shave head off and rinse and let it dry. I'll always buy a Remington.

Remington WDF-1600 Electric Shaver - I've had better

2

This was a really nice looking razor in the package...but once I got it opened and I realized what I had purchsed, I was mad (before I had even tried it I was disappointed). The razor itself had everything going for it, but it just didnt come together the way they planned or something. The first thing that I noticed after letting this charge ALL DAY...was that the thing was bogging down and dying on me half way through my first leg. It continues to disappoint as far as battery life and use time in between shaving. While it was going full speed though (which was not long) it did an alright job...nothing too great or impressive. I noticed that it left stubbal as well as did not feel good rubbing against the skin on my leg. The replacement blades for this cost almost three times as much as I paid for the razor. At that price...its way cheaper to buy disposables or a manual razor with replaceable cartridges...and if you are not big on shaving...Veet is always another option...bottom line, this is not a good razor. One thing I have notcied about ladies' razors in general...they just arent sharp enough (this one was no exception) If you are set on an electric razor, I would look in the mne's section. You will get a much better shave with less irritation and trouble...which this razor seems to provide plenty of all by itself. On the other hand, if you can deal with the things mentioned above...and you have some patience...it is a pretty cheap buy for an electric razor.

This Remington WDF - 1600 razor is amazing!

I absolutely love love love! this razor. It is the first electric razor i have ever had. I found it to be affordable, which is what first caught my interest. after being affordable, it was also colorful which also perked my interest. I was very pleased to see that it also came with an eyebrow / facial hair shaver and shaper. This razor works really well, does not leave razor burn, doesnt tug at the hairs, and it is very dependable. There are only two concerns i have, and the first is that the back of my leg has very very thin, fine hairs that the razor has a hard time trimming. Also, unless you press extremely hard on the razor, it is hard to cut the hairs all the way. if you do not apply enough pressure the razor leaves little bits of stubble all over your leg, but it does do a very good job in general. IT is very convenient when you are in  a time pinch and cannot shave in the shower. It is very portable and the wet/dry feature comes in handy.  I love my razor and would reccomend it to anyone.

Don't Waste Your Money On The Remington WDF-1600 Electric Shaver

1

What a waste of money.  I would not even recommend this product to anyone.  Using this razor was like using tweezers.  It did not give you a clean shave, just stubbles.  Please don't waste your money on this worthless product.

This product did not work very well.

I really liked the color of this product and bought in on a whim because I was tired of using disposable razors.  It worked well for a couple of weeks but this is not a razor for continued use.  I thought to myself, why did I buy this razor if it is going to wear out this fast, I should have just stuck with my disposables.  After several weeks the hair would clog covers for the blades extremely often and I was constantly cleaning them out several times a shave.  The blades wore down and became dull as well.  After paying for an electric razor I was very dissappointed in this product.  From now on I will stick with my gillette venus razor because it is just about as much work as the electric razor and I know it works.  I don't mind disposing of something that is disposable.  possibly look into waxing so that I wont have to shave so often.  I would not recommend this product to a friend.  The Remington WDF-1600 electric shaver is a definate NO.

Works in the shower!

I have had this razor for 6 years ,and to this day this razor still works wonderful. I have only had to replace the replacement piece once, and they say you need to change a lot more often. I use it dry or in the shower and works really good. I always keep in charged and ready to use anytime I need it. Light weight, nice grip and easy to use. It's easy on your skin and I have sensative skin and it doesn't irratate my legs. It is easy to clean and comes in it's own pouch with a cleaning brush to keep clean. Very easy to put back together, replacement piece for the razor part of itself pays for itself, for me at least because it seems to last longer then what they think it will. This is a great razor for any age and all skin types, I think the price of itself paid off. I would truly recommend this to anything even teens that are beginning to shave, it's wonderful because you don't have to worry about cuttying yourself like a normal razor does, at least I myself haven't cut myself using this Razor!

Remington = ouch!

This product was not one of my finer purchases. The first time i used this, I had a hard time actually getting the hair to come off. It did not actually shave my legs. It pulled the hairs and they got caught. After fiddling with it for awhile, I finally got half of my legs shaved and then I decided to call it quits. Then i tried to take off the top part to empty it and I couldn't get it to come off. It was pretty difficult to use. I would like to call this product an inconvenience. I would prefer to use a regular razor that is pretty literal and shaves the hair as it's supposed to. I would not reccommend buying this product. The worst part was the amount of money i spent on it and then i didn't really get any use out of it. It was money flushed down the toilet. Please use my review as future reference, do not buy or waste your money on this product, please. You will most definitely regret it!

Not a fan

I bought myself this razor during a trip out of town last summer (2009). I was camping and needed a way to shave my legs without having to put my foot up on the icky sides of the campground showers.  When I saw that it was wet/dry I had to have it. The first use was a bit disappointing, I was expecting smooth, clean shaven legs like on the packaging and like when I use my razor in the shower, and that is not what I got.  The razor did a good show shave as I call it, you couldn't see the hair that was left on my legs but when you touched you could feel all the little stubbles.  After several more tries I gave up and went back to a regular Schick razor.  It was not worth the money and I would not recommend it if you are looking for a "clean" shave.
