The Ricola Honey Herb has menthol in them which is great for reducing coughing, and as an oral pain reliever. I liked these much better then the cherry honey ones I had tried before. The overall flavor and taste of these cough drops were better, and they have a nicer honey flavor too. They were very herbal which I like when I'm feeling sick.I don't know why but they did a better job at suppressing my coughs as well. They gave me instant relief, and they did a great job at soothing my dry and scratchy throat. I felt like my coughing was less persistent, and it eased a lot of the pain that I had while moisturizing my mouth and throat. I wasn't having as dry heavy coughing after popping in one of these cough drops. I was happy to learn that they were made out of natural ingredients which makes them even better. While Ricola is not my favorite brand for cough drops, I really enjoyed these and would probably buy them again. Congestion Relief They do not help with nasal congestion, but I felt like it helped slightly with my chest congestion. Chest Congestion Relief The honey and menthol in these cough drops helped soothe my throat, and made it easier to cough up the congestion stuck in my chest and lungs. Other then that though I don't think they're meant to really help with any real chest congestion. Relief of Aches & Pains They relieved the sore/dry throat pain that I had, but did not help with any body aches and pains. Cough Suppression They are great for relieving sore throats. They soothed and coated my throat, so I was not coughing as much. I didn't feel my cough go away completely, but it was enough to make me feel better, and get through the day.

I get such bad sore throats and coughs and they make it really hard to sleep and do anything productive with my day. I kept seeing these on a commercial and decided to give them a try. The best part about them I think is that they have honey in them, honey has natural healing properties and has been used in medicines for such a long time and is known to really help healing especially in the throat. These have a great flavor to them and you can taste the honey as they go down and it coats your throat. Instantly I cough about half as much as I did before and my throat already feels better. I like that these give me a little bit of a burst of energy as well when I am taking one, maybe it is all the sugar in the honey but they seem to give me that little pick me up that I am needing. It keeps my cough at bay for a good hour or so after I take one, which is one of the longer lasting cough drops that I have found. I always feel better after taking these and they really do work to help you feel better and to get your throat healthy again.

These Natural Honey Herb Cough Drops from Ricola taste awful. The herb flavor tastes like, well, herbs but with a clashingly sweet honey flavor. And that's not a good thing. The taste is a little on the bitter side, and makes you feel like you're eating liquid herbs. That said, the herbs probably do help cure your cold. There is some sweetness as well too though, so it's not all bad. Definitely not my first choice in cough drops just because of the flavor. That aside, however, these cough drops do work and give you soothing relief from irritation and pain caused by sore throats. Immediately after popping one in your mouth, you'll feel a difference and instant relief. They are also helpful for dryness in your throat caused by coughing, and will help you sleep better at night if you dissolve one in your mouth right before going to bed. While they do help some with cough suppression, they are not as good at that as compared to other brands.

These cough drops taste just as good as they are effective. I love that these cough drops do not taste like your eating an eucalyptus plant. Within minutes of taking these cough drops my chest starts to open up and my cough goes away. Congestion Relief These cough drops provide almost instant relief when your feeling congestion and can not breathe, I usually take one every six hours when I start to catch a cold and my nose is all stuffy and almost instantly my sniffles start to go away and I can breath better. Before the winter season approaches, I tend to get little cough and it's been yers now since it is helping me in relieving my throat. It comes in various flavors, all taste good unlike other brand products. It has honey that really avoids drying of mouth. Overall it quenches my throat and keep it hydrated though it might not work for severe sore throats.

Get rid of that annoying tickle in your throat by using an all natural product that comes individually wrapped. I cannot tell you how many times I have reached in my purse when people are coughing and gave them one. Not only have they thanked me but asked where to get it. It starts working immediately and is not awful tasting nor does it taste sweet like a charm. Again it is all natural so I was told by a friend when her daughter was pregnant and could not take medications the doctor recommended this. It does work. I trust my doctor, so I bought a bag of Ricola Stick, Honey Herb Cough Drops and they did ease the pain as well as adding moisture to my dry throat. Before long the taste began to grow on me. I would say they really help when you have dry throat and cold issues. The are not as strong as some of the other ones out there but that's one of the nice things about them. They taste great and are made with honey and other other herbs that make you throat feel much better. I use these all the time and highly recommend them to anyone.
