Overall, I am not pleased with this microwave. I purchased it as I was moving into a smaller apartment and needed the extra counter space. It is small and takes up less room on the counter. I liked that. However, it does not heat or defrost food very quick. I have had to defrost my food for three times as long as recommended in order to get it thawed out. I could live with this if it did not dry out the food in the process. It also heats food very unevenly. I have taken food out of the microwave that is cold in one spot, very hot in another, and somewhat warm in between. Performance It does not perform very well at all. It melts butter with ease and pops popcorn like a pro, but that is about it. My food is an inconsistent temperature throughout when I am doing heating something up. I have to stir and reheat several times, but then it gets too hot to eat. The defrost is not great at all. It takes forever and dries out your food. I have resorted to thawing my meats out with water in the sink instead of in the microwave. Settings/Features It has several settings which is nice. It has pre-programmed settings for certain foods which saves time. Ease of Cleaning It is very easy to clean. It wipes down with a wash clothe and soap very easily. Ease of Use It is easy to use. You can figure it out without using the instruction manual. Durability It is very durable. I set stuff on top of it and it has not dented or scratched. Design The design is very simplistic which I like.

Overall I enjoy using the Rival Microwave Oven. This microwave oven is easy to use, easy to clean, ideal for countertops and small spaces, and prepares my food excellently. I would recommend this microwave oven to anyone. Performance This microwave always heats up and prepares my food effectively. Settings/Features I like the settings and features on this Rival Microwave. If I had to complain about anything I would have to say I dislike the constant beeping the microwave oven makes when your food is ready even if you open the microwave oven door open after the first beep. I only complain about this feature because I sometimes I have to wake up earlier than the rest of my roommates and I fear the loud beeping will wake them all up. Ease of Cleaning I have found the cleaning of this Rival Microwave Oven to be very easy and convenient. The microwave dish comes out of the microwave oven easily and is easy to clean as is the rest of the microwave. Ease of Use I find this microwave by Rival very easy to use.
