I love this crockpot. It can cook all day or for a set amount of time. You can also program it to cook on hi, med, low or keep warm. It is easy to clean. I also love the size. I can cook almost anything in it. Time to Heat It heats up pretty fast. If I take something cold out of the fridge and put the crockpot on low to reheat it for a luncheon it is ready on time. Cooking Performance I really like how well it cooks. I haven't ever had a problem with it. Ease of Cleaning It is really easy to clean. You can take the crock out and wash it in the sink then put it back in. I often wash the lid in the washing machine and it comes out great. Ease of Use It is really easy to use. I just put in my food. Plug it in and it cooks everything. I am actually thinking of using it tomorrow to cook a casserole I usually cook in the oven. Design I only wish it had something to secure the lid down so that if I take it somewhere with food in it I don't have to worry about the lid coming off during transport.

The rival 6 quart slow cooker is pretty terrible, I think one of the worst I've used. I don't even know where to start. I'll start with the biggest problem and the most dangerous. While in the middle of a family gathering with a lot of people around, as I was about to move the slow cooker, the side holder completely snapped off. If I wasn't fast enough to grab it, it literally could have been a horrible situation. However that was when it did work. I didn't really use it much because I didn't really like it, so it's not like I over used it. Anyways, I even kept it after sending messages to customer service because the lid did not fit the top and it wasn't like a little gap to let steam out, it was almost falling in. I gave up after realizing that not only did it not cook my food well, give me problems, and the top falling in, but their customer service is so bad that I said forget it and donated it. I didn't even want the anger of trying to explain again to return the machine. Terrible.

This crock pot not only helps me with dinner but it keeps the meats juicy and so easy to shred. It almost melts in your mouth. Time to Heat It heats up very quickly even on low and stays heated for about a half an hour after you turn it off. Cooking Performance Its great. Everything comes out nice and juicy and tastes so good. Ease of Cleaning It is pretty easy to clean. I throw the dish in the dishwasher and just wipe down the heater. Sometimes if I have a sauce or gravy in there it tends to leave a ring around the inside so you have to run a sponge around that and the dish washer will do the rest. Ease of Use Super easy. One button sets the heat setting low, high, or keep warm. The other button sets the time of how long you want it to cook. Design It has a slick looking design. So much better then my old one which had flowers on it. I love the stainless steel look. Durability I think it is very durable. I use mine about once a week sometimes more if there's a busy week ahead of us.

This is one of the most coveted appliances I have in my kitchen armory. It has saved me time, money and headaches for those nights when I'm tired and don't want to cook. I can simply add meat and veggies with some broth and, "VIOLA", I have an amazingly excellent dinner served hot and ready to eat when I walk through the door. What could be better?? NOTHING!! Time to Heat Because I allow it to cook all day, the time to heat is perfect as far as I am concerned. When I get home, my meal is HOT and ready to eat and that is why I go to this appliance over and over again. I have NEVER had an issue with heating. Cooking Performance Again, EXCELLENT! This small appliance from Rival is amazing. I love it's cooking performance and will continue to use this at least once a week for my family and quick meals. Ease of Cleaning Even though it's a larger insert, the ceramic bowl cleans easily in the dishwasher. For those items that are a bit sticky such as lasagna or such, I simply spray it down with Pam before I add ingredients to help with the cleaning process. Never had an issue. Ease of Use There isn't anything EASIER to use. Put in the ingredients, liquid and cover. Let it cook for the alloted time and you have a great meal! Design I cannot think of a better design so this one is perfect for my needs. It's large enough to feed a family of 6 and have some leftovers if fewer eat. Durability I have had this slow cooker from Rival for over 12 years now and cannot complain especially with the consistency of my use of it.

This crock pot does all I wanted a slow cooker to do and more. It is simple to use, relatively easy to clean, and does a great job on my meals every single time. I love having a timer on my crock pot much more than I thought I would. It is very easy to set, and it helps me keep track of how long my food has been cooking or has left to cook without tying up my kitchen timer for the job. Once it finishes cooking for the duration that you set, it automatically switches to "warm" so your food doesn't spoil. Cooking Performance Whether I use the low heat or high heat setting, this slow cooker cooks my food perfectly every time. I love that there are two settings. If I'm using the slow setting and it's getting close to dinnertime but the food isn't done, I just switch it over to high to finish the meal up faster. Ease of Cleaning I love that this is dishwasher safe. It takes up about half of the bottom rack of my dishwasher but it makes cleaning it easier! Food does sometimes stick to the sides of the pot. I just soak mine in hot soapy water with some vinegar to release the food. This usually does the trick and I can scrub it out pretty easily. Ease of Use This is so simple to use. Just choose the heat setting of your choice (low or high) and then set the timer using the buttons). Durability This crock is used pretty often in my house and is still working just as well as when I first bought it.

I love this crock pot. I am not much of a cook, and my work load does not allow me to cook every night, meaning that this crock pot is a life and time saver. There have been many nights that this has kept me from eating at 9pm. I received this as a gift, and I am so happy that I did because it really is one of the better crock pots I have ever used. There are so many uses for a crock pot, and this one is capable of handling all of them. Time to Heat This crock pot heats up nicely and does not take much time. I made chili once for work, and the crock pit had it warmed in no time. I have no complaints when it comes to this crock pot. Cooking Performance This crock pot cooks wonderfully. I was even able to make green bean casserole in it when my oven was busy for Thanksgiving, and it turned out great! Ease of Cleaning The crock pot is fairly easy to clean. The bowl part comes out easily. I am not sure if it is dishwasher safe or not since I don't have a dishwasher and don't get to clean it that way. Ease of Use This crock pot is very easy to use and understand. I am not much of a cook, and it is a very simple tool to figure out how to use. Design The design of the crock pot is sleek and does not stand out against our decor in the kitchen. I do not leave mine out because I prefer to keep it hidden, but it still looks nice.

I purchased this crockpot about 8 years ago. It is great to make soups, appetizers, meals, and I have actually made some desserts too in this crock pot. This crock pot has three levels of heat "high, low, and keep warm" and it also has a timer on it. Once the time has expired then the crockpot keeps the temperature at keep warm. I have several crock pot recipe books and I follow their directions as far as temperatures and this crock pot is one for the temperatures and times of all of my books. Great for everyday crockpot meals. I typically use this crock pot three nights a week and I have never faced any problems with use and have used this for several years. As far as clean up typically after meals I soak the insert that the food cooks in for about thirty minutes and then I rinse and just simply put in dishwasher and it always cleans excellent. Great long last product. Time to Heat Excellent heat control. Durability Long lasting and never had any problems with product.

I really wanted to try crock pot cooking and decided this would be the one to try. I've had it about six months and it has done fairly well. Unfortunately, there have been a few durability issues in the past few weeks. Time to Heat When we first purchased this crock pot it was great. It took very little time to heat and kept a consistent temperature. The last two times I have used it, though, I have had some problem s with the temperature settings. The low setting becomes extremely hot but the high setting would not work. I only use it once or twice a month so it upsets me that I rarely used it and it already is breaking. Cooking Performance The crock pot does a great job cooking stews and roasts. We usually use it for chicken and dumplings and the are fantastic. I'm not sure how it will work now the temperature s are breaking. Ease of Cleaning Fairly easy to clean but a little clunky and large to fit in a regular size sink. It will chip easily too if not careful. Ease of Use It's very easy to use. It's just figuring out what temps work for you. Design Design is OK except for the lid. The handle came off less than two months after we purchased it. Durability There are some major durability issues. The temperature controls and the lid both were broken not long after purchase.

I love this crock pot! I use mine 2-3 times per week. This one gets really hot so it can cook fast if you need it to. I am home to watch it all of the time, I don't think I'd get this one if you were going to leave it alone for 10 hours while at work. It does have a timer, etc. but I think you'd get some scalding. Durability I did have to order a replacement lid once due to the handle cracking. The new one is holding up fine though.

This slow cooker is great, I use it at least once a week. I put the ingredients in, turn it on and go to bed. In the morning I have a delicious smell in the house, good food to take to work for my lunch, and all mostly effortless. I always use the low setting, as I found the high setting to cook too fast for me. I love the way it cooks and how things taste so much better cooked slowly-the flavors develop more. It is easy to clean and I am very happy with it! Time to Heat This slow cooker heats and cooks very well on the slow setting but on the high setting it seemed to cook too fast for me and I had to stir it and it almost seemed it might burn. I prefer the slowest setting to cook with. Cooking Performance I was very pleased with the cooking performance, the food was cooked and ready to eat and the flavors were amazing! Ease of Cleaning This slow cooker was very easy to clean as long as I did not let it sit overnight. As with any dishes, they are best washed immediately or soon after use! Ease of Use This is very easy to use, just fill the slow cooker up with your ingredients, turn it on, and let it work its magic! Design I like the design of the slow cooker, it's easy to use, easy to clean, and fits nicely on my counter! Durability I've had this slow cooker a while now and have had no problems with it. It is very durable and reliable. I'm very happy with my purchase!
