I had to rent a rug doctor because my steam cleaner cracked when I was moving it out of the closet and I hit it on the wall. I had a mess that had to be cleaned so I rented the machine and started looking at all of the different cleaning solutions that you can buy for it. I decided on the Rug Doctor Oxy-Steam Carpet Cleaner. When I first open any type of cleaner the first thing that I do is take a big sniff of it and see how it smells, and this has a nice and clean pleasant smell to it, I really liked it. It is pretty self explanatory how to use it, but if you need help the bottle has directions printed on the back. With the machine this product works great and I did not have to keep going over the spots that I was cleaning up multiple times like I have had to do with some of the other types of cleaner solutions that I have used with my old steam cleaner. I went over each spot once and you could see how much dirt this cleaner was getting out of my carpets. Now the carpets look 100 percent better, are a lot softer, and they also kept some of that nice scent to them and they smell very nice.

I have the worst carpet ever. I can spill water on it and it stains. I decided to use the Rug doctor oxy-steamer carpet cleaner. I am so glad I did. It got all the stains out and keeps the stains out longer than other steam cleaners. I feel like I have new carpet all over again. I would recommend this to everyone.

I have my own carpet steam cleaner and like to buy this carpet cleaner soap to use in my machine. The Rug Doctor brand is cheaper than most other soaps and works just as good as them. I have high traffic areas in my living room and bedrooms and I do not need any pre-treatment when using Rug Doctor. This product works great with one run through your carpets. The hairs on my carpet look new again and the color comes alive. I would recommend this product on all carpet types. I have used this product on the Rug Doctor machines and can not see a difference in the quality of care. The packaging included instructions on how to dilute with water to give the best care. I have not had any negative experiences with this product and it is one of my two favorite soaps to buy. My local grocery stores sales mutliple sizes to choose from and it very cost affordable. Performance Works great on all carpet types. Made my mom's carpets come alive and they are about eight years old. Scent Has a great smell and does a great job eliminating odors and stains.

This stuff is fabulous! We rented a rug doctor machine one time and we purchased this to use with it. It honestly took out stains that I never thought would ever come out. It works better than any other carpet cleaner I have used and I have tried a ton. I actually felt like my carpets were cleaner than ever. It brightened our whole room. The Rug Doctor Oxy-Steam Carpet Cleaner has been used at my workplace a few times, on the enormous indoor/outdoor carpet. It was used by and recommended by a professional carpet cleaner on this very carpet, and we've also used it on our own with our own steamer/cleaner. It removed a lot of dirt, judging by the water in the machine, and the overall appearance of the carpet afterwards. It also freshened its odor considerably. What did not impress me, however, was how so few of the stains were removed. Most of what is spilled on our carpet is simple beverages, so that was disappointing. Rug doctor oxy-steam carpet cleaner is a very good carpet cleaner that deep cleans your carpets and removes so many stains. It is highly concentrated so you on need to use just a liitle bit each time. I think it is a bit expensive but in the overall run it goes a long way for your money. I don't just use it to clean my carpets. I have even gone to the extremes of puting it in my toliet and bath tub to clean them and let me tell you it does a wonderful job. I have even tried it when I washed my clothes and it workes great. Rug doctor should rename it to be called the rug doctor oxy-steam mulitiy house and carpet cleaner. I use it to clean the stains from my kitchen and bathroom sinks. I have even tried it on my kitchen walls where the grease is and I have notice that it makes them easier to clean. As you can see I like to experiment on different cleaners and things and when I find a bargin I stick with the product even if if cost a little more. So just give rug doctor a try.

I had a bottle of this in the cupboard and recently had to rent a machine from the local grocery store and eliminiate some stains my dog left on the carpet. I was pleasantly surprised that this stuff worked pretty well and did a pretty good job getting most of the stains up. It was the best working stuff I have found, and I really worked these stains with elbow grease, vinegar, two different types of resolve, and Nature's Miracle. So I did my fair share of work to try and get my carpet cleaner. In the end, the steam machine and Rug Doctor carpet shampoo was what worked best. So, I would recommend this, especially if you have a machine already or have easy access to one because it is really effective.

I like to clean my carpets often because I have an active family of five and the carpets seem to get very dirty very fast.  I love the ease of the rug doctor cleaner that can be rented from any local groccery or hardware store.  The rug doctor products are very affordable and cost much less than a professional carpet cleaning would.  Rug Doctor Oxy steam carpet cleaner is awesome.  It easily gets the spots off my carpet and leaves it looking very clean as if I had a professional clean them.  It is super easy to use as you just pour a little into some hot water and then into the steam cleaner.  Also the detergent lasts a long time as you only need 1/4 cup of cleaner for every one gallon of hot water.  I will continue to use Rug Doctor Oxy Steam Carpet Cleaner to get my carpets clean and I will recommend it to all my friends who have carpet in their home and would like a way to clean them easily and affordably.

To continue the saga of cleaning up dog pee, the story will begin with  the culprit being our dog, the location on the high traffic carpet located in the dining room.  First I used [Woolite Oxy Deep Spot and Stain Carpet Cleaner][1]  and the smell was removed along with the stain.  After the spot had dried I came back to a new dark brown stain (my carpet is a light brown)  and almost looked like a shadow unless the lights are on and you clearly see that it is a stain.  With our carpets only being a few months old, I rented a rug doctor and purchased the rug doctor's oxy-steam carpet cleaner a few days later in an attempt to remove the previously mentioned stain and clean the remaining carpet.  The bad guys are defeated...
