Terrible for real painting with multiple coats!
I purchased this instead of the regular Rustoleum because of it's "quick dry" claim, since I wanted to get the job done in a single day. I followed the instructions exactly, even using a timer to be sure I was recoating as prescribed (yes, I'm a perfectionist). I wanted 3 coats to provide long-term protection on my piece. I had already coated with Rustoleum primer and allowed to cure for several days. Days after painting the surface was still soft and slightly tacky. Even though it "felt" dry, the surface got ruined just setting it down on a sheet of plastic to paint the other side. If all you need to do is a couple quick touch-up passes it's probably fine. But if you plan on actually painting something with multiple coats, forget this junk. Use the regular stuff. I've finally come to the point of realizing I can't fix this piece (actually tried), but need to strip it all off and start over with some decent paint.
