I researched A LOT befre purchasing this car seat.  I wanted something affordable yet very safe for my son.  We started using it for him when he was 13 months old because it was too tall to fit in our car rear-facing.  He loves it and has never had a problem with it.  I was concerned that the side air impact cushions would bother him because they protrude so far out but he hasn't seemed bothered by it at all.  I really do like the car seat and I always feel as though he is safe when we are traveling. I was spoiled with his infant carrier because I loved everything about it and it was so easy to use.  Because of this, I have found a couple of things that I don't like about this car seat but in all of them that I've looked at (that I'm willing to pay for) they aren't any better.  The biggest thing is that it is kindof a pain to tighten the straps each time we get in the car.  The button to do so it kindof covered up with the carseat fabric which makes the appearance better but I don't like fishing into the fabric to find the release button to loosen the straps.  Other than that, I love this carseat. Pros:  Good value for the quality, good color combinations, installs easily (forward facing) Cons:  Too tall to fit rear-facing in cars, I wish the tightening mechanism for the straps was a little easier to use.

I bought this car-seat for my son after he outgrew his infant seat. I absolutely love it! Makes me feel like my baby is very safe! My one complaint is it is both rear and forward facing, which I love, but depending on the size of your car rear facing may not be an option. It was a little expensive but considering you won't need a new seat until your child reaches 60 lbs, I think it's worth the cost! I would highly recommend this seat to family and friends!

We started looking for a convertible car seat when my son was about 4 months old. He was getting way too heavy to carry in the infant car seats any longer. I read tons of reviews online and went into stores and tried out many seats. This one just stood out to me. The safetly rating was not something I could ignore. It was the safest car seat on the market. I just loved the air bags around the head. The only problem was I did not like any of the colors they had in the store. So I went online and started looking. I finally found a blue one that wasn't plain jane and we bought it. THe seat is a lot bigger than I imagined and you cant see the kid while rear facing but it is very safe and seems to be very roomy. I love the fact that it rear faces for so long and has the highest shell of car seats. Definitely worth the money!

I cannot say enough great things about this car seat! It is better than what I thought! We actually have it in Ella (the girly one). Our car is a smaller car (not tiny) I guess you could say midsize so I was worried about it fitting as the reviews said it was rather large! It ended up fitting perfectly (rear facing) and is oh so comfortable for our daughter! She has not fussed once in it & falls right asleep! My husband noticed right away how safe it looked compared to our other ones & commented on how much easier it was to use. The strap adjustment is @ the top front of the seat & I cannot express how simple it is! This is definitely worth the price & I would have paid even more for it! If you are looking for a car seat look no further as this is the BEST out there!

My hubby and I bought the safety 1st complete air car seat for our second child when she outgrew her infant carrier. We loved that this seat had the protective pads that cushion her head. I also loved that the seat fits tall toddlers like mine so that they can remain rear facing for longer. She is very comfortable in the seat and naps easily. The seat is very easy to install and works well with the latch system. You can also adjust the shoulder straps easily (which has been great during the spring when we sometimes wear heavy coats and sometimes just a jacket. The fabric is very durrable and plush. We also have leather seats in our car and some carseats wont install tightly enough on the leather. This one is very snug though!

Now I will start off saying that they are expensive but there are more expensive less effective seats out there. I love my son's seat and he does too. I know that my son is safe. My friend who is an EMT suggests the AIR carseats because she has responded to crashes where the only survivor was the baby in THIS particular seat. they are reliable and offer side impact relief and saftey for baby. some may try to save money when buying a carseat but is safety the right time for that? save it for baby's clothes or shoes. The straps are easy to adjust and the latches fit in my car perfectly. Read the instructions and everything will work just fine. my sister that is expecting will be receiving the infant version of this seat from me!

I would have to say that this car seat is just okay. My husband and I have done a lot of research regarding car seats and which is the best. My husband fell in love with this car seat right away online, and when we saw it in person, he loved it even more. I actually loved a different one, but he convinced me that this one was better and we purchased this one. Now, I don't know if it's just my car (a Ford Explorer), but I do not like how the car seat sits in the car. The seat sits forward at an angle, and my son leans forward a bit. This is bad because he loves sleeping in the car, and he can't fall asleep because his head rolls forward. I noticed this the very first time we used the car seat. Maybe it's just because my backseat leans backwards, but I really don't like that. Also, I really wanted a car seat with a cup holder, and although this one comes with one, it sucks. It bends easily and is fragile. It's also rather expensive compared to some of the others. I think we might return it and get the one my sister-in-law has.

My husband did a lot of research before deciding on purchasing this carseat when our daughter outgrew our Chicco Keyfit30 carseat and this was the only carseat that he would consider getting for her! I had some concerns initially about the air cushions on either side of the head, that they would act as blinders and she wouldn't be content sitting in the seat but they have caused no problems and work wonderfully as headrests when she falls asleep in the carseat. Those same air cushions are the main feature that sold my husband on the seat to start with. The cover comes off quite easily for washing...believe me, we've done it several times! One drawback is that part of the cover does not come off and therefore has to be spot cleaned (the part covering the air cushions and adjustable headrest. Fortunately those don't get dirty that easily as I hate spot cleaning! The latch system is easy to use making in and out of the car a breeze! Overall we love this carseat!

**The safety first Complete Air LX 22436ANZ Car Seat - Chromite was definatly my first choice in carseat even back before baby was born I had seen it while  I was regestering. However the price scared me away slightly and I ended uop with just the infant carrier that fit in my stroller and eventually purchased the alpha omega elite. While I has happy in most with the omega elite Our son eventually refused to sit in it. MY husband decided we would take him to the store and try him in different seats and see what he didnt scream about. Even in the store he (my son ) liked this one we ended up choosing the harvest orange color cause it was slightly cheaper. I love how safe this seat is and that its so comfy for baby because I worry them sitting in the seat so often if it isnt comfortable what the poor baby would feel like. THe safety ratings on this seat are excellent and I have heard nothing but great stories on this seat. I love it and so does my son we definatly recomend this one.**

This carseat is our favorite carseat. We own this carseat as well as a cheaper one from Wal-Mart. My daughter also seems to enjoy it. It can be used for extended rear-facing until a decent weight which is important for us.  It also is good for forward facing of course. I like the colors it comes in although I wish there were more girly colors though.  This carseat is made well and comes apart decently enough when it comes time to clean but the cover does not completely come off unfortunately. My husband does have a hard time undoing the latch when its forward facing but that does have to do with the car we drive. I have an easy time undoing the straps though! The price is not unreasonable at all! Although 180.00 may seem pricy- it is not bad considering this carseat rear faces for 5 to 40 pounds and forward faces from 22 to 65 pounds. It will last our child for quite some time! This carseat also has a removable cup holder which we never use because my toddler will not keep it on! I would buy this carseat again in a heartbeat!
