The Safety 1st Summit Booster has it's pro's and con's. The pro's of it is it is sold for a great price and you can get years of use out of it since it. The requirements for the use of it is forward facing which is from 22lbs up to a 40lb child. Once your child reaches the 40lbs it can then be used as a belt positioning booster for a child in the weight requirement of 40lbs to 100lbs. Also it has 3 reclining settings,arm rest that you can put up if your child don't want down,cup holder on the left side of the base part,then on the right side of the base part it has a few little sections where you can put your child's sun glasses,snack or just whatever you choose. It also has 3 buckle settings you can easily adjust as your child grows, 5 point harness settings that is also very easy to adjust from the back of the seat & has a strap in the front to tighten & loosen the harness strap. When your child gets big enough to use it as the belt positioning booster it has 5 position shoulder belt guides on each side. The faults i have found is it says it is easy to take the cover off to clean,but i tried doing so with my oldest sons seat and it wasn't as easy as they said it would be to get the seat cover off and when it came time to put it back on it was somewhat easy,but the snaps that go around the harness straps snapped right back into place,but will not stay that way. Every time my son gets in it i have to snap the little snap fittings that go around the harness straps back in which they still don't stay. My other fault with it is it sets on a base which is great when your child is little because it helps them to be able to see out the windows which can keep them entertained for the ride,but when the child gets older & taller it makes them set up to high i think. My son will be 5yrs old in March & his head is pretty close to being the same height of the front seats head rest which makes me be concerned of what could happen if it didn't do its job if we were to get in a accident & him being so high up. I would recommend the Safety 1st Summit Booster for a child in the range on 22lbs-40lbs,but as for older children I recommend getting just a regular booster that didn't set on a base.

We bought this car seat when my daughter grew into my son's car seat and we needed something for him. After reading a bunch of reviews I realized that we were just going to have to find what works for him because everyone has a different option of how their child fits, not to mention the car differences. We drive a Toyota Camry and this fits in it alright. My son could kick the seat if he didn't know not too but it hasn't been a problem. If you strap it in with the extra straps and not just the seatbelt, then you cannot recline it. This is something I didn't know but makes since if you think about it. The extra straps are very easy to snap and unsnap and it is very easy to pull in and out, not that I would want to do that every day or anything. The arm rest are nice because they move up and down which not only provides a toy for my son, but it also makes it easier to get him out. The harness works just fine. The cup holder is almost hidden under his seat so I'm not that impressed with the fact that it moves in and out. I guess when you don't use it it is handy to have it able to push in. the tray's and holding places under his seat that I thought were so nifty when I bought this are just that...under his seat. Your child can't reach them. Which would be nifty if it were on something other than an item on the back seat of your car where you don't want to crawl back there all the time.

Excellent in safety and comfort. My son loves his seat! He feels so big and safe in it. I feel safe knowing that he is safe. Before he used to complain about how uncomfortable his previous seat was, but this one is absolutely, unequivocally one of the best around. We had various brands to chose from and were unsure on which to chose, but this seat had the look factor at first. From there, upon further exploration, it was obvious there was no other choice.

This is a great carseat. My youngest daughter is very cofortable in it. Alot pf carseats in the past have hurt my kids bottoms. Not this one. There is alot of padding on the bottom. I wish that I had this car seat with my other 3 kids. This car seat also comes in a few good colors. I chose the bluish gray one. A good color if something gets on the carseat. It is harder to see the spot!!!

I think this is a great item to invest in. It keeps your child safe and leaves you with no worries. It fasten in the car easily. the directions are clear. I understood how to fasten it in the car. It is easy to maintain. Fabric is easy to wipe down. My child does not have any complaint either.

Safety 1st has alwaysabeen a pretty trustworthy name that delivers what they promise and this is no exception. The **Safety 1st Deluxe High Back Belt Positioning Booster** is easy to buckle and you don't spend a lot of time trying to untangle belts and buckles.  the seat fits easily though the doors and uses my cars own seat belts.
