I use this product and recommend this product for those looking for natural ways to boost the immune system when you are sick. I was looking for natural products to use when I have a cold or feeling under the weather. This one of my top most rated products in my medicine cabinet. I also carry this with me when I am traveling to keep my immune system up when I am in the airport and on planes and buses. I bought this because it was new and I like to try new things to see if they work better than something that I have tried before. I had the flu really bad for about two weeks and there was nothing that my doctor could do for me but tell me to try to rest up and I was tired of being sick and tired. I started taking this and not even fifteen minutes after I took a pill I was violently throwing up and my head was spinning like crazy. I thought maybe it was just me and a fluke so I went to sleep and 8 hours later I decided to take another dose of the medication. Sure enough, within about fifteen minutes it happened again and I was so sick and back over the toilet. I don't know what it is that is in this that makes me so ill as I am not allergic to any of the ingredients but something with it just made it awful and did not help at all with any of my symptoms but actually made me feel even worse for another week.

This product tastes good in my opinion, better that a lot of cold and flu medicines. It is smaller and dissolves faster so it isn't dissolving in your mouth for a long time which can be annoying. Another good thing that I like about this product is the fact that (for me) it doesn't only work when you're already sick, but also when you're feeling like you're about to get sick (at the beginning of a cold or flu). If I'm feeling new cold or flu symptoms I take this. Congestion Relief Whenever I use this product it relieves whatever congestion I have. Chest Congestion Relief My chest congestion is relieved really quickly after using this medicine. Relief of Aches & Pains I have not used this product solely to relieve aches and pains. However when I use it I notice that if I have a headache, backache, or any other ache it relieves at least a little bit of the pain. Cough Suppression This medicine is really good for cough suppression, it makes you cough less, relieves sore throat, and clears and mucus in your throat, which helps also with congestion.

My friend is a doctor,and says this stuff does not work.I can say this to everyone,he is very wrong.After numerous trips to my sons Pediatrician,he was diagnosed with H1N1.They just said it had to run its coarse,and use Tylenol,for the fever.After days of no improvement,I started him on Sambucol.Within 48hrs.,he was feeling much better.Within 72hrs.,he was fine.I say this stuff,forgive my grammar,was the reason,my son got better so soon.Our house will never be without Sambucol.

About a year ago, one of the drug store chains had promotion on the Sambucol Cold & Flu Relief pretty free of charge. We bought a couple of boxes. This is not really the same typical cold and flu relief medicine but more or less a vitamin booster when you have a first sign of cold or flu. We tried it that time and found quite effective. It is better than using the traditional cold or flu medication. We were sold on this product. This year, even though I had the flu shot but still caught a little flu bug. I had two or three in total and the uncomfort was all gone. I am sure my flu shot helps but this Sambucol does provide an extra boost. Love it and will continue to keep one box at home.

This is one of the only things i can take for immune support that doesn't taste absolutely nasty while i'm pregnant. this is one of the only things i can get my husband to take for immune support when he is sick. It's very affordable and the form of ingestion is so very easy, it's one of my favorite remedies out there right now. I had never heard about Elderberry until my naturpath was talking about giving her son elderberry every day with his vitamins. She told me about the amazing healing properties and how it doesn't taste nearly as bad as some other herbs that help the immune system during cold and flu season. While pregnant i feel like i can't take anything so having this makes it super easy and reassuring for me that my baby isn't being harmed by some toxic medicine. call me hyper sensitive, i know but it's important. i would definately recommend using this product for children who have a really hard time taking medicines.

I have been using this for about 2 years now and have hardly been sick.  Each time I start to feel a like I might be getting sick I start to take this until that feeling goes away.  Sometimes I only need a few doses.  Sometimes if the cold gets a little further along I will have to take more.  It literally saved my trip to Disney.  From the stress of all the planning I inevitably became sick and didn't have time to buy Sambucol until we were on our way to the airport.  I just kept taking it every 3 hours and all my symptoms were completely gone in about 1.5 days.  It's worthwhile to have this on hand. I was shocked last week when I went to bed Friday night feeling perfectly fine and woke up sick.  I tried the Sambucol but still became very sick. Whatever I had was nasty, came on fast and kicked my butt.   I mention this because if you try Sambucol for the first time and it doesn't work, don't write it off completely.  Give it another try because most of the time it really does work.
