It can hold a heavy load. I just bought it about three months ago. The best thing about it is that i can wash heavy clothes and linens such as big jackets, blankets, heavy linens without worry it gonna break. It saves me time and money to go to dry clean on heavy load.

I bought my samsung washing machine and drier about 5 years ago.  I have been nothing but happy with both of them.  To this day I have had no problems with either of them and since I purchased them we have moved them 3 times and still no problems.  The washer holds alot of clothes at one time which is very important to me since I am a very busy mother of two young children.  In comparison to all the other brands this washing machine was the best for the amount of money that it cost.  If you are in the market for buying washing machine I highly recommend a samsung even though it isn't one of the more popular name brands it has defeneitly been a wonderful machine.

I love the matching dryer, but the washer leaves my clothes (especially heavy things like jeans) with a musty smell.  I leave the door of the washer open all of the time (when the washer isn't running, of course) and run a cleaning cycle often.  The machine itself does not have a bad smell, only my clothes.   I've tried everything...even had a tech out to evaluate it and can't figure it out.  Smell is REALLY important to me.  It's embarrassing to offer my guests towels that smell musty.  Wish I could get my money back......Kathy
