It did keep my toilet appearing clean and smelling fresh for a few days but that does not mean I can neglect cleaning it with old fashion elbow grease and a bristled brush and powerful toilet cleaner. I didn't mind it being exposed in the toilet bowl as I wanted to see if it was actually doing anything. The product claims that each disc lasts up to seven days, for a 24/7 continuous clean. This is not true as after day five it was all but gone, that might be true for one of two people using the toilet but not a family toilet. I did like that it was easy to dispense the gel disc on the side of the bowl and was waiting for it to fall into the toilet water but it stuck on and stayed on with a practice flush. It's a bit expensive and I wouldn't mind it if it actually lasted for the week and the smell was strong but no one complained because you would only experience that strong smell after you flushed and I rather smell that than whatever the toilet might offer with no toilet cleaning gel. Overall, it wasn't so bad but won't be heavily relying on it to clean my toilet.

I received this item as a free sample from my dry cleaner (yes, strange!) but welcomed the chance to try it out. You use an ejection system to put a blob of cleanser gel to the side of your toilet bowl. Theoretically, every time you flush, the water that goes around the bowl will pick up bits of dissolving gel and clean the bowl a bit each time. This gel blob is supposed to last a month, after which you put on a new clot of gel. While this does a decent job keeping the bowl smelling clean, and slightly lessens the eventual staining that happens, it does not last a whole month. It also does not eliminate the need for additional scrubbing and cleaning of the toilet. At best it works for about 2-3 weeks and perhaps cuts down manually cleaning to in between gels as opposed to weekly. Priced because of its convenience, I find this product to be not worth it and wil continue a manual cleaning regimen.

These cleaning gels are good for in between cleanings. I purchased them and stuck them under the rim of my toilet after I had cleaned it. I have found that they do a great job at helping to keep your toilet clean for about two weeks. They definitely don't clean your toilet but rather assist in keeping it clean. You still have to clean it with other cleaner even while using these. I was pleased with how long one gel lasted. We can keep one going strong in our toilet for two weeks. It helps your bathroom smell better and also keeps the toilet bowl cleaner. However, it does not keep it completely clean. You will still have to do routine cleanings in between applying the gels. If you are looking for something to clean your toilet completely, these are probably not the product for you. However, if you are looking for something to maintain the clean throughout the week, this is a great product. We will definitely continue to use them in our home. Performance It performs well for what I expected it to do. It does not clean your toilet but rather helps it stay cleaner in between cleans. It has helped our toilet look better and smell better during the week. Scent The scent is good. It leaves your bathroom smelling really fresh.

I really like the Scrubbing Bubbles products so when I discovered the gel toilet cleaner I thought it was a great idea and eagerly bought the gel cleaner to use when cleaning the toilet bowl. Performance The Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning gel did a okay job of cleaning the toilet bowl but as far as we are concerned the smell of the cleaner was worse that the toilet bowl. I appreciated the ease of using the product. You just pull off the cap and push the gel packs container of cleaners into the side of the bowl. Once a week you click the gel pack into a new position. I thought that the cleaner was okay. It did a good job of cleaning however I could not get past the very strong and unusual smell of this product that seemed to never wear off. We ended up throwing away the remainder of this product. If this product was available in a "no fragrance" product I would consider buying it again. Scent I have used other Scrubbing Bubbles product and did not remember any of them having a extreme odor so I was totally unprepared for the VERY strong and unusual smell of this product. It was bad enough that we threw away the remainder of the product. It does come in another fragrance but I'm not willing to spend the money to find out if the other scent is any better.

I enjoy having these gel tabs around. If I am cleaning the toilet, I can place one in an inconspicuous place and it cleans the toilet with each flush, keeping the water fresher and less murky. I recall having to dispense of the entire applicator when the entire box was used up as I did not see "refills" anywhere. I prefer to buy refills when possible as I like to be as eco friendly as possible. They may have refills now. I purchased these right when they came out and it has been a few years. Performance One "issue" with these gel tabs is that there is a small learning curve with the first use as it is a little confusing how to actually dispense of the gel tab. After that, it is very easy to use. Sometimes the gel doesn't break down uniformly and it goes from a pretty star to a deformed blob looking thing. Since I tend to place the gel tab in a very inconspicuous place under the toilet bowl, this is not a big deal to me. Scent The scent smells fresh but is not extremely overpowering.

If you already have "ring around the toilet", this won't miraculously make it disappear, but it will help keep a new one from developing and keep things smelling a little fresher. It's weird because it's this gel that you stick to the inside edge of the toilet bowl and every time you flush, the water washes just a bit of it away. In our house one gel-spot lasts a bit less than a week in the main bathroom, but each gel wand has about a months worth. My only advice is that you check EVERY TIME to make sure you remove the cap before trying to place a gel-spot. I've forgotten 3 or 4 times and the gel just sticks to the inside of the cap and makes a big mess. It also doesn't totally do away with the need to run a brush around once a week -- especially if you have hard water. Performance Keeps things clean and fresh-smelling. You still have to run the toilet brush around the inside at least once a week to really keep things clean, but it definitely helps keep build-up to a minimum. Scent Pleasant and not over-whelming.

I purchased these Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning gel things because I love the entire Scrubbing Bubbles line and I thought that these would help to keep my toilet fresh between cleanings. I have three little boys and our bathrooms can be quite a mess...especially the toilets! I popped one of these into each of the toilets in our house. They are really neat the way that they work. You just use the little wand to stick a gel thingy onto the inside of the toilet bowl. However, that was as far as my good impression went. I didn't feel like these did much. I have used the little tablets that clip to the side of the toilet bowl in the past and I feel like they are a better value and work better. These gels are not cheap and I just don't feel like they keep my toilet as clean as the Clorox brand tablets that I normally use. I will be switching back. Scent The scent is great with all of the Scrubbing Bubbles products, and this is no exception.

I will not be purchasing this product again. I don't see an actual benefit from using this, and the smell is almost unbearable. I found the applicator to be a little difficult to use and not simple like you see on the commercials or shown on the box. One benefit is I have found this product lasts much longer than promised, but I still find I need to clean just as often. If I liked the scent, this would be a great way to add a nice scent to the bathroom. Performance I don't really see this doing much of anything for me. I feel I still need to clean the toilet just as frequently as I did prior to using this product, and I don't really care for the fact that I now have to clean around it. Scent My least favorite part is the citrus scent. While I thought I would be getting a fresh smell, the mixture of citrus, toiletries, hair products, and other cleaners leaves me wanting an air freshener in my bathroom.

I have been using this product for a few years now. I was unsure of the product at first because it seemed too good to be true. According to the packaging each disc should last up to 7 day, and there are six applications per tube. I found that the discs lasted a shorter period of time in our Master Bathroom. This is probably due to the higher usage. This gel keeps the bowl much cleaner and makes it much easier to clean. It also helped prevent new stains from forming. It does not clean much around the top of the bowl in the "hard to reach areas." I guess that part is left up to the consumer. The only downfall for me would be the incredibly strong smell. The strong scent seems to linger all over my house. I do enjoy a clean smell, however if this product came in "fragrance free" I would be way more apt to purchase it. This strong fragrance would be great for a public bathroom! Scent The scent is way too strong!
