I've had the Shake N Take for over a year now and it's still going strong. I've been quite impressed with how long it's lasted and the motor is quite powerful for its size. It also has the ability to chop up large ice cubes, but it sometimes takes while. I would advise against putting the top portion of the blender in the dishwasher as this will damage the plastic. Durability I'm rating the motor durability as very good. The top plastic portion is also quite durable as long as you hand wash it not put it in the dishwasher.
