I had always wanted my cribbed to be handmade by my dad or grandfather or both. We seemed to have plenty of time but I couldn't find a crib style that I liked and we were starting to get closer and closer to the due date. Unfortunately we thought we still had about 10 weeks to figure things out but baby had other intentions. My guy ended up going out while I was in the hospital and picking this crib up. I was nervous to see what he had purchased because he got it on clearance since it was the last one in stock at the store. When I got home and was able to use it, I am more than ecstatic about the thing and I know we will be using it with our next ones as well. It has a large crib that can actually be made to a child day bed and even a full bed later in life but I plan on keeping it as the crib. It also has a drawer underneath where I can store blankets, extra bedding, and anything else for the crib. On the side it has a really large changing table that is perfect for me. I can just grab the baby or my sisters babies out of the crib and put them on the changing table and work away. The changing table has drawers underneath where I can keep diapers, wipes, and the like. We use cloth diapers so I can store so many in this thing. I also keep my breast pump in the bottom drawer because it is so nice to keep it all in the nursery. This is a perfect crib. I'm still nostalgic for the idea of something handmade but this has been a life changing crib.

My husband and I took quite some time to decide on a crib for our new baby. We looked at a lot of crib and finally decided on the Simplicity for Children Milan Crib Changer Combo. The price was really amazing for this crib and changer with the trundle underneath, and we saw a model of it in the store and were very impressed with the quality of it. I was pretty excited when we got it home and eager to put it together right away. The only one bad thing I can say about this set is that the instructions were not as clear as they could be, and so it took a little long to put it together. Once we got it set up it looked beautiful in our new nursery, we couldn't believe how nice it was for the price we paid. When our baby came home from the hospital I was even more pleased, this set made changing her so convenient. I could store all the things I needed for changing, cleanup and baths right there under the changing table so I could reach everything as I needed it. I recommend this to any new parents that want an excellent crib set for their nursery.

This is a must have for any mother. This changing table has made my days and nights so much easier. Everything i need is always within reach, i never have to leave my baby unattended. This is very stylish and will match almost any home or decor scheme. A great item at a great price. It has lots of great storage compartments and a very comfortable bed for baby with a good thick mattress. The bed is super easy to clean and has lots of room for great comfort. The instructions that come along with this crib, changer combo are very easy to read and understand. This is a great value and a must have for any nursery. You and your child will both enjoy, you for the convenience and your child for the comfort. You cant go wrong with this crib combo. Would definatley recommend to anyone..... make sure to tell everyone about this great item and dont forget to list on your registry for all of you expectant moms!!!!!!

The Simplicity Milan combo crib was fine for a while, and I think it would be OK--even good--for your first child, as long as you don't mind having to use two hands to put the side down.  It moves around easily but stays put when you need it to (if no one--like your kids/their friends--"unbrakes" off for you), has everything together (as pictured), etc.  The changing table portion (my favorite part of this item), while taller than many, is pretty sturdy and has rails on all four sides.  Its smooth flat slats are much easier to clean than round or beveled ones.  The pad is nice and smooth, easier to clean than others I've used.  I'll probably keep it even if I don't keep the whole furniture unit, in the end.  I think it's pretty cheaply made--thus the price, and the recommendation as good only if you don't have any rough users in the house.  There's more than one place on the slats where splinters have been peeled/ripped off and the bottom of the under-crib drawer busted through on one side after one too many times of a small toddler getting in it.  I haven't figured out a way to fix that, though I've not tried taking it all the way apart just yet. With two- and four-year-old boys and myself using them, one drawer has a busted handle, two don't slide well, and a screw is loose, I think, on the third.  Another screw connecting the crib to the changing table has been loose for some time. (Granted, the son that was in the crib is the master unscrewer, but still...)  Make sure you keep the special screwdriver handy for any needed tightening--and for disassembly/different configuring (eg, to toddler bed, etc.) if you buy this.  And the instruction manual. (My husband and father-in-law assembled this shortly after a to-different-state move and I don't know where the manual ended up.) I never even took the side down until about a week ago, and then only b/c I'm pregnant and was tired of leaning over it when I needed to get things in and out of it.)

Simplicity for Children Milan Crib Changer Combo looks fairly sturdy. Love the pull out drawer under the crib. Great place to stash extra blankets and crib sheets. Deffinately considering it for my grandchild.

I really like the simplicity crib N changer combo. As long as you put the door on the right way there is nothing wrong with it. It is a very simple crib but I love the changer on the side. I think there is more space in our little ones room since we got a combo. I also like that it changes to a night stand later on. I would definitely recommend the simplicity crib N changer combo to anyone just as long as they make sure they put the door on the right way.

I've had this crib since May '07 and it has been an excellent crib. Now that I am converting it to a toddler be the company (Simplicity) that makes the crib is no longer around. Now I have to either buy guardrails that don't match the bed or a whole new toddler bed.

My in laws bought this crib for our son back in Oct/Nov 2007. I have loved it! The only issue I had was the changing table strap didn't seem to work too well for holding my son down while I changed him. However, today I have found that the bars going across the bottom for the mattress to rest on are bending! (My son is only 27 lbs) I tried to call the customer service number provided, however I didnt get an answer (it says it is unallocated) I think that the bars should definantly be more sturdy that this, as it is a transitional bed, so weight should not be an issue.

The milan crib changer combo is great. It saves up space and is the perfect color and it is also very economic.Is very practical and goes perfect with any design you may have in the room. It was easy to put together and the best thing it transfors as she gets older so it will be good to have for a while.

   I bought the Simplicity Milan 4 in 1 Crib and Changer Combo in April of 2006 when i was about to give birth to my first child and i absolutely loved it, it saves alot of space and money. I am stil usng this crib to this day with my second child. With this crib you don't need to go and buy a crib, a dresser, and a changing table all seperate, it all comes in 1. This crib is absolutely the best crib that has ever been created.
