While I didn't think this was a bad body wash, it really didn't work quite as well as I had hoped. The word "cashmere" had a lot of promise, and I was expecting to have very smooth, soft skin after using it. My skin was nice and clean, but it didn't end up as soft as I had hoped and this wash does not moisturize skin quite as well as I had expected it to. I liked it fine for a short-term use, but I cannot see myself using it forever. It was a great price and it smells nice, but it just didn't have the effects I was hoping for. I would rather pay a little bit more and have a product that delivers what I am looking for than pay less and continue to be a little disappointed. Effectiveness This wash kept my skin clean for sure and it did a decent job of smoothing it and keeping it soft, but it didn't moisturize the way I wanted it and needed it to. Scent I do like the scent of this wash a lot. It is really soft and pleasant.

I bought Softsoap Pure Cashmere moisturizing body wash hoping it would be a nice body wash for moisturizing my skin. The other body wash I had been using seemed to only dry out my skin. The Softsoap pure cashmere body wash is affordable and you get a large bottle of body wash. It gives you a nice lather and for me, it did help moisturize my skin. My only complaint is the scent. While it is not a bad scent at all, it's just missing something. I like a bit more fragrance to the bath products I use and this one smelled like plain soap. For that reason, I probably won't buy it again and I'll keep searching for a moisturizing body wash that also smells good.

Softsoap Pure Cashmere Moisturizing Body wash has more of a baby powder fragrance to it in my opinion. My bottle says that it is infused with cashmere extracts for soft, hydrated skin. I think that it cleans my skin fairly well, but I prefer the citrus fragrances better. They make one with honeysuckle and that one is my favorite fragrance of all of the softsoap line of body washes. The Pure Cashmere body wash does seem to be fine as far as rinsing well. It doesn't seem to leave any soap residue on my skin. I find that a little soap does go along way. It can be used with the fluffy sponges or brushes. This product does contain Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract and I think that is for moisturizing. I think that Aloe is good for many body products including mouth wash so it should be safe in body washes as well. I do like that this soft soap doesn't have the gritty feel like some of the ones that are designed to be a body scrub. This one doesn't have that gritty feel in my opinion. Scent Not my favorite fragrance. I prefer citrus

**This product in a nutshell: **is an excellent moisturizing body wash that leaves my skin soft and smelling pretty.  The lather on this stuff is INTENSE and when I use it on my skin, I feel pampered and clean. Softsoap Pure Cashmere Moisturizing Body Wash contains cashmere extract.  Cashmere extract is derived from a class of proteins contained in animal hair, often referred to as hydrolyzed keratin.  Whether or not this ingredient makes a difference in this product is not evident to me, but nevertheless, this is a darn good body wash that makes my skin feel nice to the touch. In the summertime, I rarely use body lotion or creams.  I just hate the way freshly moisturized skin feels when it's hot and muggy outside.  I feel like I'm sticking to myself, my clothes, the bed sheets, etc.  So, I generally use a moisturizing body wash with a creamy base, and then follow-up with an after-bath body splash or perfume.  Softsoap Pure Cashmere Moisturizing Body Wash REALLY lathers well when I pour some into my shower poof, so a little goes a long way with this stuff.  The scent is a refreshing blend of florals that explodes into the air when combined with the hot steam of my shower.  After showering, my skin feels clean and soft and looks hydrated.  It never looks or feels greasy, which is key when I'm out in the summertime heat. **I give this product 4/5 stars because: **it's an inexpensive body wash that effectively cleans skin and makes it look and feel soft and lightly fragranced.

I really enjoy showering with Softsoap Pure Cashmere body hydrating wash. The scent is very light and relaxing. It sort of reminds me of the scent of baby powder but a little more luxurious and sensual. It is definitely not an overpowering scent. The texture of the bodywash is also luxurious. It is smooth and creamy and lathers into a nice soothing feel on my skin. It does not leave behind an oily residue or little granules like some other bodywashes do. While it does not seem to dry my skin I don't know that it moisturizes it heavily but I do use a moisturizer after my shower so it is hard to tell. The shape of the container it comes in is also very nice it is narrower in the center than at the top or bottom. This makes it easy to grip and helps to keep it from slipping out of wet, soapy hands. I definitely like this product and plan on getting it again soon. The price is very reasonable since when it goes on sale.

Because the mid-west winters can be rather harsh on the skin I was thrilled when I discovered Softsoap Pure Cashmere. I immediately noticed that the bottle read for extra dry skin and I was quite sure the product would be tailor made for me. I am a huge fan of scented products so I immediately popped the top open and took a huge sniff only to be completely turned off. I couldn't believe it but the smell almost reminded me of pinesol or Mr. Clean. Fortunately, the product smells a tiny bit better when you are using it in the bath or tub. I would sooner say the scent smells more like freesia, lily, or even slightly like baby powder. I found the product didn't exactly do as it said either. Upon drying off I noticed that my skin felt dry. In fact, it was so dry that I had to apply a body lotion to compensate for the lack of moisture on my skin. The bottle says that the product is enriched with cashmere extract and moisturizing cream but I definitely was not my experience. The texture of the product is thick and rich. The bottle recommends that you add it to a sponge or body pouf to apply. I actually added it to running water like a bubble bath and it did lather well and filled the tub with bubbles. Unfortunately I was not able to experience all the benefits that product touted and I didn't enjoy the smell at all, so I would not purchase this product on my own.

This body wash is not expensive first of all. And it's even better to buy it in bulk. I like to get this in bulk from a wholesale club because I know for sure that I'll always use it. They have a good variety in the scents available, apart from cashmere. The body wash lathers up well and is really soft and cleans off quickly and easily so that you don't waste time rubbing it off. There is never any residue leftover on my skin. And my skin doesn't feel dry after using it throughout the day. It's a great basic body wash that's not cheap/ tacky quality, and very affordable. The amount in the bottle is a lot, which makes it last a longer time of course. It can be a little pricey but I usually find it on sale at Rite Aid. The creaminess makes it nicer than the gel-like body washed they have like pomegranite. I also like the smell of it, it's not too fruity. It has a clean and fresh smell to it.

After trying Softsoap Pure Cashmere Moisturizing Body Wash, I was very pleased with the results!!!  This brand is a great body wash hands down.  You get a thick, rich lather without having to use a huge amount of product to get the cleanest results.  This product has a wonderful scent without being too overwhelming.  Another wonderful thing that I like about this soap is that it doesn't irritate my skin.  I have sensitive skin to soaps, and makeup, so I have to be wary that I don't pick anything that will leave a bad rash all over my skin.  I know that if I pick up a bottle of this great product at the store, and I use it I don't have to worry about that.  This is probably the best benefit that I love about this soap.  Also, it leaves my skin moisturized at just about the right amount.  I don't feel like I have a filmy leftover all over my skin, yet it isn't too stripped of moisture, neither.  I've tried alot of body washes out there, as they promise great results, but failed.  Softsoap has not.  Another added benefit to this awesome product is that I know that I can find it at most of the stores near where I live.  This makes me glad that I don't have to travel very far to find this wonderful soap/body wash.  The price is very good, too!  So, I recommend this product if you want a moisturizing, wonderful body wash, anytime!!!
