Although, I wouldn't say the Soleus Air Pint Dehumidifier is the best dehumidifier, I would definitely say it was better than my last. It does great work, as it is efficient and it's very quiet. Which is what I was looking for doesn't cover, although it does not cover as much space as I would for hoped. It would there is still a slight film and dustiness in the air when I put it in larger room. It is a neat little addition to are home and I would definitely recommend it for smaller apartments that would need a dehumidifier. Durability I really like the small efficient quality of this dehumidifier as I can put it in any space and not have to worry about any catastrophes happening, with my kids being around. I have not had it long enough to be able to say for sure if the quality is long lasting, but it is definitely worth the purchase. Design The makers of Soleus, in my opinion did excellent work with the overall design.

I felt that the dehumidifier did not work for the entire area that I was informed it would cover. I am partially satisfied with it. Effectiveness It works well for a smaller space than what I was informed that it could cover. I expected a lot more coverage so that the mustiness did not continue to be apparent. Safety It had great safety features as it would automatically shut off when the bucket was filled to capacity. It also beeped for a short time so that you knew it needed to be checked. Ease of Cleaning The bucket was easy to clean as once I had it out, I could wipe it down with a small mixture of tea tree oil and dishsoap. Then rinsed it off and ran a rag through the bucket for any left residue. Durability The Soleus dehumidifier seems to be very durable. I have not had any issues with it as I run it basically from spring, summer and autumn. My basement tends to be dry in the winter so not necessary at that time. This is my second season for using it. The sales representative at Menard's informed me that these units usually only last two years. Design The design is easy and it's on casters/rollers, so very easy to maneuver around. I have mine in the basement, but my basement is larger so I don't feel that the Soleus dehumifier can keep up with the moisture content in the basement.

We have tried other dehumidifiers and this brand os the only one to go with. We have a smaller house so we didn't need the bigger one, but this one does great for us. We have had mold problems before so we got a cheapo used dehumidifier off Craigs List and it promptly broke after 2 weeks, I t hink. So we did a little research and found that this brand is really the only way to go. It has been run fairly continually for 2 years now and never given us a moment's worry. It is light enough to carry from room to room, we've never had a leak from it, it operates at lower temperatures than other brands, which was good for us in the winter when we were gone for a weekend or something. And it is much quieter than the other one we had. Which is nice since we run it so much!

The Soleus Air 250E Dehumidifier is so quiet, portable and very efficient!  I need to keep the humidity 50% or below in my bedroom due to dust mite and mold allergies. I keep a monitor in the room and it does keeps the room on average about 45%-48% humidity.  The one I had previously in the room was so loud every time the compressor turned on that you couldn't hear the TV and it would wake you up during the night.  This one you don't even notice it is running most of the time. It has a really sleek design and is not a bulky and boxy dehumidifier and fits easily in a small area. It has moveable louvers to direct the airflow or make it quieter. It is lightweight and has built in wheels on the bottom of the unit and a carrying handle so you can move it easily around the room or from room to room or even carry it easily up and down stairs. I love the fact that is so quiet!  The drainage tank is not really heavy and is easy to remove as well as the air filter.  The filter is supposed to be cleaned every two weeks but I also run an air purifier in the room and find that I don't have to clean it that often. The one issue I had was that this dehumidfier always stays on but the compressor shuts off when not needed.  This was not in the manual and I was concerned and called the company to find this out. I was impressed that when I called I got right through to a real person. The person I reached was very helpful and said it only uses the power of a 40 watt lightbulb when it is not in the dehumidifying mode.

We've had the Soleus CRM-25E dehumidifier for a few years now, and it has worked great. Never had a leak, never had it freeze up, and it does a great job on getting the moisture out of the air. We'd highly recommend it!
