I love that southwest is accommodating to people who require 2 seats due to being over weight as I flew my mother out to visit me I was a little upset that I had to purchase 2 seats until I found out that all it took was a phone call to get the cost of the second seat refunded to my bank account! So thankful for an airline who offers this

While I love Southwest I am starting to have a few frustrations with them. This summer we were booked on 9:45 return flight home from a vacation and a few weeks before the trip we were notified that our flight had been changed to 5:15. 4.5 hours is quite a lot when you are visiting a theme park and had made reservations that have to be cancelled last minute due to the flight. That was the most extreme change but the last 3 flights have all seemingly had smaller changes leading up to them (not day of weather related I totally can understand that). Overall we do keep going back for the affordability of their flights and the kindness of their staff.

I've traveled several airlines in the past but by far southwest is the best. The fares and really low when you can book at least two months in advance. You can check two bags up to 50 pounds per person with no added fee. You can carry on one size limited bag and a personal item per person. Seating is open and the in pre flight instructions are comical. They have very competent pilots who do their best when the weather is poor. I've only been delayed once due to weather. Hands down the best airline for price, flights and employees.

Best airlines if you have multiple bags with you. You don't pay for the first two! Seats are average. Newer planes are a little better. I pay the little extra to get first choice of my seat by boarding sooner .

I recommend Southwest to people all the time. I love the way they include more than other airlines with bags included and freedom of seating with check-in times. Another bonus is their flight attendants are always so fun and friendly. I often will intentionally pick certain destinations/airports based on availability to fly Southwest.

Signed up for credit card they handed me on the plane, was told to spend a minimum amount that would then provide me with enough points for companion pass for the next year. Did that. Then, no pass issued because convienantly, the card holder held the points release for 60 days even though Southwest knew the points were there. So, no pass as their employees stated and the whole reason card was opened. Boooooo

Southwest airlines is reliable and is my preferred airline. The service was exceptional. Being on a cross country flight that was over 2,000 miles it was a very comfortable and quite trip. The flight attendants were very friendly and efficient. I love knowing when I check in my luggage it will not be lost or stolen. Southwest is awesome at protecting the security of their passengers luggage. Yes I will use Southwest again for many reasons a big one being it is affordable. More importantly I can trust their quality of service each and every trip.

I've been flying Southwest for years now, and I will only choose them for domestic flights. The staff and crew are always friendly and make travel a great experience. On a recent trip, our flight was delayed by about a half hour and having technical issues at the gate which was completely understandable. Not only did the crew do everything g in its power to make sure the passengers were comfortable, but a few days after returning home I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Southwest apologizing for the delay and providing a voucher to apply to my next trip. Not many companies will do this (even when someone lodges a complaint, which we did not). I would recommend them to anyone based on their customer service alone.
