I used this mixer to make cakes, icings, bread dough, and mash potatoes. I sold a Kitchenaid mixer and sold it be cause it was heavy and bulky. I find the Sunbeam Heritage Series works efficiently and can be easily stored away. I can scrape the sides of the bowls while mixing and do t have to shut off and then scrape down with other mixer. I bought the extra small bowl. Also bought extra big bowl and extra set of beaters. Have given this mixer as gifts to family members and they, too, appreciate the ease of using this mixer.

I decided to buy the Sunbeam Heritage Series Mixer since my KitchenAid mixer is getting way too heavy for me too lift since I had surgery. KitchenAid Mixers weight a ton so when I needed to get one that was lighter in weight I chose the Sunbeam since it was lighter and is a quality name that has withstood the test of time. Even my grandmother had a Sunbeam mixer. The price was much less than KitchenAid as well which was a great added bonus! It works extremely well It has a rotating bowl just like they had when my grandmother had one that makes mixing ingredients a breeze. It has two beaters just like the old ones had and the mixer is easy to clean up after using it. The mixing performance is very good and mixes all ingredients evenly. It is easy to use and the design is sleek and modern looking. It is very durable as well. It is good for all bakers, beginners and advanced as well. You can mix almost anything in it from cake and cookie batter to bread dough. I love it and recommend this mixer.

This is by far the best stand mixer I've owned! I do a LOT of baking and this Sunbeam Heritage Series Dual Motor Stand Mixer makes mixing batter for cookies, cakes, muffins, etc... I can literally add my ingredients to the mixing bowl, turn it on, and walk away. And it's extremely easy to clean! Mixing Performance This mixer mixes extremely well! No complaints! I can mix batters, doughs, etc... with little to no effort on my end. Once done, the batter and doughs are extremely smooth with zero lumps! Ease of Cleaning This is a very easy mixer to clean. I usually wipe down the entire unit with a moist towel after the use and I hand wash the mixing bowl. No mess. No fuss! Ease of Use This mixer has a lot of different settings so that you can get the perfect mix for exactly what you are making. I would recommend reading the instructions to make sure you're doing everything correctly. However, this mixer is so easy to use you could very easily figure it out on your own. Design This is a large mixer. It takes up a bit of room on my countertop when in use. But it's stainless steel design is sleek and current looking. This Sunbeam Heritage Series Dual Motor Stand Mixer definitely looks like something you'd find in a professional chef's kitchen. Durability I've had this mixer for a little over 3yrs and it works just as well now as it did the day I purchased it. I've loaned it out to friends to use and no one has complained that it's difficult to figure out or that it didn't work to their standards.

The Sunbeam heritage mixer is a sturdy product that is built to last.  We love the speed settings and especially how it whips eggs. We use the mixer for whipping ingredients because it does a fantastic job.  We like the two bowl sizes and the switch on the mixer that allows you to switch between the two bowl sizes for better mixing. We love the turn dial that allows you freedom to choose your speed. The buttons to move the mixer head up and down and to eject the beaters are hard to push and take some effort.  Also, like most mixers you do have to use a spatula as it is mixing to get the ingredients off the side of the bowl while mixing.  But for the price, my husband and I don't mind having to do this.  This mixer is fairly easy to clean making me not mind pulling it out to use.  We like the selection of beaters the mixer comes with equipping us with the ability to mix almost anything with this mixer.  Just make sure you use the right beaters, especially for bread or else the motor will overheat.

If you really like to bake, this is not the mixer for you.  If you don't really like to bake, stick with a solid handmixer.  This one just isn't worth it.  I find the button to make the head tilt back nearly impossible to press in.  Same with removing the beaters.  I don't care which of the settings on the bottom you use, it doesn't get the sides.  With no splashguard, you're guaranteed to get your kitchen filthy.  It's also very loud.  Not a big deal, but still.  Compared with a higher quality product, this one just doesn't stack up.  It will sit in your kitchen taking up space as you won't ever want to use it. I've also been struggling to find any different beaters that could come with this mixer (i.e. bread hook, what have you).  I can't find any, and I need to replace the beaters, as these have gotten out of shape.  Are they not made?  Why are they so hard to find??  The sleek appearance makes it look like a good buy, but don't be fooled.

I love to bake and cook. In a Sunday school class a lady taught us how to make bread and used her kitchenaid mixer. I desperately wanted one but new they were outrageous in price. My husband ended up getting me this Sunbeam Heritage mixer. I have used it a few times but not any more. It doesn't get all the dough from around the edges and I am constantly stopping it to scrape the dough and try and get it all in the exact middle of the bowl. This, to me, takes much longer than just getting out my hand mixer and using that or kneading the dough by hand, which is why I really wanted it. Plus I have a larger family of my husband and five growing, hungry boys. I had to make double batches and it couldn't handle the dough when I did this. I was very disappointed in this mixer and have now been saving for 2 years for a kitchenaid mixer. So I do not think this mixer is really that great and haven't used it in about a year.

This is a great mixer. Retro style,heavy duty,dual motor. The mixer also includes,a stainless steel bowl,beaters,dough hooks,and whisks. Good for everything from beating egg whites to cakes & cookies to breads! I loved mine so much,I bought 2 more as gifts for my daughter and daughter-in-law.

I  received the Sunbeam stand mixer 2 years ago for Christmas and I love it.  I use it to make bread a lot.  I have never had a problem with it.  I also use it to mix cakes in it.  I would recommend this product.
