I received a set of the Sunsilk TLC in my Christmas gifts this past year. It included the shampoo, conditioner, and a bottle of their Hydra TLC leaving in conditioner so I got the full affect of this product. Using the entire kit is really the best way to go but just on the shampoo, it has a great lather, it has a good scent, and it helps to moisturize my hair and my scalp. I priced these in the store and they are really great for someone on a budget. You get a good lather, a good clean, and a decent amount of conditioner and conditioning treatment for the price you pay. Great for keeping your wallet fat and your hair somewhat happy. I'm really picky about bottle designs though and don't like that you can't turn this bottle upside down to help get the last of the product out. I used this product nightly and had good results. It did help leave my hair softer but I notice it didn't really add any shine to my hair. It left me soft and silky and detangled but I didn't get much glow/luster. I have color treated hair and it didn't damage my hair at all or fade my color. It has a soft, subtle floral scent and it seemed safe enough to use daily in my circumstance. Effectiveness Does a good job of cleansing my hair. It removes dirt and impurities from my scalp. Left my hair feeling soft and silky and moisturized. Helped with dandruff also but I notice I didn't have any real shine or luster to my hair. It was a great shampoo but left me with manageable hair that felt a little dull. Scent Has a great smell to it. Flowery/floral scents aren't very guy friendly though.

I used to love Sunsilk's shampoos, but then my hair dresser told me to look at the ingredient list. Sure enough, one of the first ingredients is formaldehyde, which is HORRIBLE! You do not want to be using this on your hair. It is some type of chemical that is not good for you. My hair dresser recommended that I stop using it. I loved Sunsilk. It worked better than most shampoos I've used. It cleaned my hair, helped repair my split ends, reduced frizz, and left my hair so soft and smooth. The shampoo even works as a conditioner. I never had tangled hair using this shampoo. I have healthy hair, so even though the results were exceptional, I did not want to sacrifice my hair or skin for that. If you look around and try a few other shampoos, you can find other shampoos that work well that are better for your hair than Sunsilk. None of the stores in the area carry Sunsilk anymore after they did a news story on the dangers of formaldehyde in your shampoo. I'd skip this shampoo and find a different one. Effectiveness Not safe to use, even though it works well. Sorry.

Although the shampoo doesn't seem to stand out from other types of shampoo, the conditioner does. It is a little "heavy" feeling, for lack of better terms, and a little greasy feeling, but it does rinse smoothly out of hair and leaves it soft and shiny. I have very fine, color treated hair, and I am outside all the time, so there is a lot of damage to my hair between what I've inflicted on it and what the elements do to it, At times, it's difficult to even get a comb through my hair. However, since i've started using this product, it's been soft every day!

I really like this shampoo.  It's not only inexpensive but it works really well.  It left my hair soft, manageable, and smell goods too.  I've tried lots and lots of shampoos in the past and this one is one of the best I have ever tried.  Try it and I'm sure you will be pleased.

This shampoo, and the conditioner as well, works so well and smells just great. Makes your hair feel like silk! It suds up well and rinses nice and clean. My hair is color treated so it needs extra TLC, especially in the winter. After using this product, no fly aways!

I have always liked the old formulas for the sunsilk products and as a cosmetologist I am able to get the "quality" salon formulas but prefer to use the OTC products.  I don't like to pay a lot for products I use everyday.  I color my hair so I needed a product that would help take the dry ends and shafts away so thought would try the Sunsilk Hydra Tlc.  When I first started using both the shampoo and conditioner it did as the product stated but by the end of the bottle my hair was dryer and split ends started (I don't blow dry or use any curling irons or flat irons on my hair).  I also because allergic to one of the ingredients (or more) in the product.  Would I use this on my clients? For some of them yes some of them no depending on many different sensativities in the clients skin.  Always remember allergies are very common and if it hurts have a profession look at it, it could be an allergic reaction.

Hydra tlc by sunsilk: I love this shampoo it is amazing it made my dry crunchy hair turn into soft, luxurious hair. it helped to heal my split ends, i havent gotten any new ones since i started using this shampoo. Without this product i have no idea what i would have done, my hair was limp and lifeless, now it has body and major attitude. The transformation my hair has undergone from using this shampoo is life changing. from the cute little pink bottle (my favorite color), to the sweet scent that people always complement on my hair looks 100 percent better. My hair is shinner, healthier, and just plain better off after using this product for a short period of time i can only imagine what it will look like as i continue to use this product. (: im so excited for that!!!!!!!  Im very picky when it comes to my hair and choosing products for it so you know it is a great thing if i like it and will vouch for it! I recomend this product to anyone with dry just blahh hair it will change it completely enjoy!! (:

Okay, so I used Sunsilk hydra TLC shampoo and conditioner a couple times and loved everything about it. The way it made my hair smell to the way it made my hair feel, but after a couple times of using it my hair started to look bland not shiny like when i first started to use it. It also left my hair flat, like it took out the volume in my hair if thats even possible. It is inexpensive and great for someone on a budget, maybe is was just my type of hair that just doesnt respond well to this type of shampoo and conditioner. I would not recommend this to my friends only if they could not afford a different brand of shampoo and condtitioner. Personally I like Herbal Essence way better than this brand and it is also very inexpensive. Sunsilk does hydrate your hair though I will say that for the brand, I just wish that it would of continued to make my hair look and feel like it did the first couple times I used it.

This conditioner is by far my favorite. To start off, the smell is AMAZING, unlike anything Ive ever smelled. If sunsilk put out a perfume this scent, Id buy it. It makes my hair feel soft and weightless after use. Would definately recommend to anyone.
