We bought our T-Fal Avante Elite many years ago from Kitchen, Etc. and we're still using it every day for breakfast/lunch/dinners. Our machine makes NO noise, and does precise cooking. It seems though that they have stopped making this model as we don't see it selling brand new any place online at all.

I received this toaster oven as a gift from my mother when my oven went out right before Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised by the large size. It fits a lot more than most toaster ovens. And the bake feature is amazing. I have baked many things inside, from cookies to meatloaf and have had consistently wonderful results. It's also perfect for warming up left over pizza. It tastes way better than when microwaved. The broil function is great as well. I through a couple fish fillets on the included broiler pan, throw it in for fifteen minutes and it comes out perfectly. Another review complained about the noise . I'm not sure what they are talking about. I've never heard much noise come from mine at all. Pretty much only a quiet whirring noise when on bake due to the fan. It certainly doesn't sound like a jet engine. The only problem I would say I've had with it at all would be that the warmer can get VERY warm and may continue cooking whatever you have in it instead of keeping it warm. I don't really use it very often, so it's not a big deal to me. I highly recommend anyone in the market for a toaster oven to consider this model. I've had it for a year now and it's become an appliance I use on a daily basis.

T-Fal's Avante Elie Convecton Toaster is pretty awesome! I wanted something in addition to my regular toaster as I wanted something for open-faced sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, etc. I saw this rated as the best toaster oven in Consumer Reports a few years ago (yep, that's how long I've had it!) and I'm glad I purchased it. It has a glass lid for the warmer and a convection feature, which most models do not have. The oven works great and quickly. This model is NOT loud at all. This is a perfect toaster for those who want to quickly heat up appetizers, melt cheese on a sandwich or cook a quick pizza without having to heat up their oven; it's perfect in the summer and during the holidays. It does have a large capacity, so you must have some room on your counter top. It has a nice elegant look to it and is very sturdy.  I have not used the warmer on top that much, but when I have, it serves as a nice way to lightly toast buns. Overall, this toaster oven, although not the cheapest, has been very reliable and has lasted a long time. I still use it every day.

This toaster oven has received daily use for months and months. We rarely even use our large oven anymore except for cookies or cakes. We use it for frozen things such as fish sticks, burritos, and I use it to bake my small casseroles. It will also hold a Digornio Pizza!!! This small but powerfule oven has saved us a ton in electricity which is the best part of all. We use it in place of our microwave to reheat meals also--does a better job!!! This oven does not even require "pre heating" which is one of its greatest assets. The items cook in the time allotted just by starting the oven when you put in the product. Once again--a pro to saving energy. Our house is entirely electric so we do the best we can to keep our electric bill down. This little work horse helps GREATLY!! Even Heating For its size it does an awesome job at evenly cooking whatever I put in it. Safety Absolutely NO problem with anything every catching fire. Ease of Cleaning Love this option-the tray comes completely out--and I can wash it right in the sink. Love this about the product. Durability We have had this toaster for years. It gets used almost daily (we have no microwave-so this is our "go to" appliance.) It has been an amazing product for us. Design Can fit a Digorno pizza in it-but it does not take up the entire counter space. We did away with our microwave because we did not have the room. THis is worth the space as it heats,warms, cooks,etc.

We received this oven as a wedding gift about 2 1/2 years ago. It is large enough to bake cakes, bread, pizza, cookies, pies, etc. The size is really its best feature. The warming tray ontop is a great idea but I do not find myself ever using it. I also have had a hard time using both the warmer and the oven at the same time, which is why I think I dont use it. For the first two years, this toaster oven has been great-however in the last few months I have had a few issues. The door gets incredibly dirty and is impossible to clean- I have tried all sorts of cleaners to no avail and the door no longer closes flush, unless I stand  by it, push it in and hold it.. Also, the temperature of the oven function is no longer dependable, this may have to do with the door no longer sealing correctly, which would cause the hot air to escape and therefore not hold the temperature. I've lost a few batches of brownies and cookies this holiday season because of this, which is a bummer. I used this instead of my full size oven quite often, as I rarely need the space in the bigger oven and feel this is much more efficient. I will need to buy a new toaster oven in the next year-hopefully one that will last longer than 2 1/2 years!

I had such dreams for this toaster oven - it is **digital** with temperature, timer, setting (bake, broil, etc.) controls, it is large capacity for a toaster oven, it is **convection and SELF CLEANING** (how awesome a feature is that!) and it does prepare food beautifully ...I want to award this product INFINITY STARS! Alas, (I have never had a convection toaster oven or regular convection oven before so I don't know if this is normal) I can no longer use it because I can't bear the jett-engine noise it makes! Maybe this is normal with convection fan ovens, but (I wish I could share an audio clip for you) is it normal for it to be DEAFENINGLY loud? When I used it, I would have to flee the area (and be reluctant to venture back into the area to check on the food while it was cooking). I feel like, this can't be normal. I don't know if mine is defective, or what, and I am hesitant to buy another to find out. I wish that the company would come out with a new model, and specifically stipulate that it has QUIET technology or something! Then I would definitely buy another! It has wonderful features - it is both CONVECTION and has DIGITAL CONTROLS, which seem rarer among the toaster ovens I see advertised, and I don't know of any other toaster oven that features SELF CLEANING! (Plus It has a useful, necessary crumb tray). And it prepares the food beautifully! (**If you think you can handle the sound, BUY THIS!**) On a small note, a visual revamp might be appreciated because (for me) the shape is a little unusual looking ...I would appreciate something more standard in shape, and it only comes in black (with dark orange/red on the digital controls/LED display...) which can be an eyesore in some kitchens. I would like to see a clean looking white model with maybe chrome or pewter accents and... please, no orange/red :) Please, T-Fal, make a new & improved (quiet?) version and I will be first in line to buy it!
