I received the TIGI Bed Head Flat Iron as a gift a few years ago. I have thin curly hair that I straighten most days. It heated up quickly and did a good job of straightening my hair. I went back to using my main flat iron due to the bulkiness of this flat iron. This flat iron is brightly colored and fun looking. The iron heats up quickly and goes up to 400 degrees. It did a great job of straightening my hair. I only had to run it over the sections of hair a few times, which saved me time when straightening my hair. My hair remained straight for most of the day. The flat iron worked well but it was just too bulky so I went back to using my main flat iron. If you don't mind he bulkiness I definitely recommend this flat iron. Effectiveness The flat iron works very well. It heats up quickly and you only have to run it over your hair a few times. Durability I only used the flat iron for a few weeks so I can't really say how it's durability is.

I got this as a recommendation from the lady that was doing my hair and I was in the market for a new flat iron so I gave it a shot. I got it home and the first time I used it I was so dissappointed in it! I plugged it in and the instructions said that it had a fast head up time, so I waited the three minutes that it said and I grabbed my hair and tried it out. It was not hot, it was barely warm! So I waited another five minutes and made sure that it was turned up to high. This time it was warm, but still not hot enough to even straighten any of my hair. I was kind of mad at this point, but I left it plugged in for ten more minutes and it was finally hot enough to straighten my hair. I used it and it did a decent job of straightening it, but it did not leave my hair shinny like my other straightening iron had done. I gave it another chance and it still took way too long to head up and never got any shorter than fifteen minutes which for me is entirely too long as I am very busy in the mornings and need something that is going to work for me very quickly. It does not get hot enough for much either, I can not use it to do mermaid curls in my hair like I can with other straighteners because it does not have enough heat in it.

I really like my Bed Head straightener! I have naturally fine, slightly wavy, mostly straight hair so it doesn't need a WHOLE lot of help to get straight, but this does the trick quickly and easily. First off, it is priced considerably less than the CHI ones, but is more expensive than Revlon, or other budget brands. Also depending on where you buy it, I think it may come with a warranty? This is only the 2nd straightener I've ever owned but I've had it for about 6 or 7 years. I use it about 4 or 5 times a week. It has a low, medium, and high setting, plus notches in between to get your perfect heat. I've found that low does work on my hair, but when I'm in a big hurry, or doing my hair to go out, then I'll use medium-high. It does not snag or tug at my hair. It does not steam or smoke. It is perfectly fine to set on the counter while using. The length of the cord is nice and long. All in all, I would definitely recommend this flat iron to anyone with hair similar to mine. I do not know how it performs on extremely curly thick hair, so I can only speak about my personal experience.

It seems like anything Bed Head is made of quality. Although this straightener is a little more expensive than some ofther brands such as Conair or Revlon, it is of much better quality. This straightener is small enough to travel with me on my short vacations. My hair is mostly straight, but it gets a bit of wave in some places, especially when it is humid out, and this straightener keeps all of those pesky waves at bay. I originally was drawn to this straightener because of the Bed Head name that I know and trust, plus I loved the purple color and the overall look of this straightener. I have fine hair, so I cannot really tell you how well this would work on other types of hair, but it is great on my fine hair. It has different heat settings for different types of hair, so I do believe that it would work on any type of hair. If you are looking for an inexpensive and quality hair straightener, this is your product.

I had a Conair hair straightener which I absolutely hated and thought that maybe all flat irons were like that. I figured I might as well just keep my hair curly if it was that much trouble to get it straight. I found this one for a great price and decided to get it and try it out. This one works so much better than the last flat iron I had. I can use it with wet or dry hair and it works wonders. It is easy to hold, it heats up fast, and I can adjust the temperature as high or low as I want. It is very easy to use and is much more effective than the last one I had. Girls, if you have curly hair and have had bad experiences with flat irons don't give up, you should try this one and it should work great for you like it did for me.

I really hate having curly hair. It is a real pain especially when I get out of the shower. It gets real frizzy and curly once it dries, so I usually have to put it up til it dries so it isn't so frizzy. This one I don't have to wait for my hair to dry completely, it works well on damp hair too. I always have to straighten my hair because I idn't ever like it being curly. I have had a few other flat irons, but none of them worked particularly well. They weren't cheap flat irons, but they weren't the most expensive ones either. This one I have to say is the best one I have ever used. it works great and it only takes a few seconds to heat up to the right temperature. It works great, it is reliable, and it isn't entirely overpriced like a lot of the good ones are. I would recommend this flat iron to anyone who straightens their hair on a regular basis.

The Bed Head Flat Iron can be used for thick hair, frizzy hair, long hair, short hair, natural hair, relaxed hair, everyday use and special occasions. I own this iron and i personally love it. I have thinner hair, and most straighteners burn the ends or make my hair stick together but this does not. It is very easy to use and it heats up very fast. there are many possitive quality for this product ( Pros) 1. It was very durable. 2. It works great. 3. It smooths frizz. 4. It heats up very fast. 5. And it is very easy to use. There was also some cons 1. The quality is not so great 2. Heavy The price was very reasonable and i love that. I also love that it has an automatic shut-off feature in case you forget to turn it off. And it beeps when it is finished heating, so you know when it is ready for use. I rated this iron a four out of five and i beilive that it deserved it. I loved this iron And i would totally recommed this to a friend or family member

I have curly hair, quite unmanageable frizzy fro-like hair. I have always wanted straight, soft hair. I did some research and found that a ceramic flat iron is the best. I had a conair metal flat iron before and it either fried my hair or didn't do anything for straightening it. I also didn't have enough money to purchase a Chi, which of course, is the top of the line. I got this straightener and I got it double width which was great because it cut my straightening down my half which was fantastic. As a mommy of two I do not have a lot of time to spend on taking care of myself so the faster I can do something the better. It tugs at my hair just a little bit, nothing like the Conair one did. Where it tugs is just where the ceramic tile meets the plastic of the flat iron. I like that I can adjust the heat temperature. I got the pink one with the green light and I really like the color, it is fun.
