We LOVE our Tempurpedic mattress and I will have another whenever we go to buy again. It's hard to sleep anywhere else because at night I just want MY BED! Took about a month to get broke in and during that time it was very overly firm for my taste, my spouse however liked that, but once it adjusted- I'm spoiled!

So when I first got this mattress I honestly considered returning it because when you go from a spring mattress to a memory foam mattress there is a huge adjustment period. Memory foam it holds heat. It will make you sweat if you are overdressed. This one I think has "cooling technology" but it still does get a little warm at times. Before it breaks into your shape and body it is very uncomfortable it's so firm. You can't expect it to feel like the everyday spring mattress because it doesn't. It's firm yet supportive and it really forms to your body. I love it and I've had it for 2 years now and it hasn't caved in even a tiny bit. It has a 10 year warranty.

This is our main mattress. It has developed a cavity. The worst part is that when I contacted customer service they asked me to send a photo of the issue. It was very hard to get anywhere with them despite the warranty they tout. Would not recommend. For the money, you should definitely try less-expensive options first.

It has lasted many years, but was hard to maintain due to the way it was designed. I would recommend the lower end of this same mattress. They are designed well but i feel that it is a little too soft for my comfort.

This bed takes some time to get used to and I didn't like it at first. After staying in hotels and with family I realized how nice the bed is and how much more comfortable to sleep in everyday. Mine is still fairly new, but so far so good.

If you really need a new mattress and have plenty saved, then go ahead and purchase a tempur-pedic, but be aware that they will push you to purchase a more expensive model.
