If I could give this company a MINUS 100 I would. They are horrible to deal with and the plan is TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED in their ads! You do NOT get fully prepared meals. You sometimes get the starting of a meal and you have to grocery shop and add contents or it's Do It Yourself entirely (DIY). It is mostly shakes, which are not unique, and bags of popcorns and awful tasting snacks. Do not waste your time or money. Nothing looks or tastes like they describe. RIP OFF CITY. They offer no returns or refunds nor apologies. You think you're getting a discount but in truth, you sign up for "Auto" delivery and if you cancel you are charged $125.00!!!!! This has been a horrible experience I would not wish on anyone. Steer clear of this bad tasting, poorly produced product and the disreputable people associated with it. I purchased two person's plans and ended up with charges of over $868.00 and nothing I could eat! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

This really should have a zero rating but that is available to choose. Purchased in good faith, followed exactly but first week = 2 lost lbs. So definitely not effective. Second problem is that you are not given alot of food. Alot of what you do is supplement the diet with "DIY" meals and "DIY" snacks. All diets do that but this one is on a bigger level which adds to your time and cost. I had used NutriSystems with success and was looking for a different menu when I choose this one. Nutrisystems is a better value and is effective. They said I signed up for auto-reorder and sent the next order, and charged my account. I got ONE auto-phone call to say it would arrive in 3 days. I immediately called to say do not deliver and cancel. They said it was too late, I had to pay because they do not offer a money back guarantee, and that I could not return any of the food. NutriSystems does provide a guarantee. So South Beach Diet's business practices are sketchy as I don't remember signing up for auto-reorder, didn't get notification, don't offer a money back guarantee and cannot return. BTW I was not asking them to return my first purchase payment. I was simply asking for a refund and to return the order that automatically was sent which I had not received, to be refunded.

Just dissapointed that they scam you into autopay and tried to cancel any other shipments after i saw what was included and was told i had to buy 2 mnths before i can cancel. They wouldnt even cancel until after 2nd shipment is spipped in a month. Unethical business practices

If you are looking for awful tasting food (that and is also expensive) and horrendous customer service, then this is the diet for you! If I could given the South Beach Diet a zero-star rating, I definitely would. I researched a lot and found that the South Beach Diet had good reviews and seemed relatively easy to follow (especially with the food delivery as I work usually over 50 hours a weeks, which makes cooking hard). I tried the food for a month, and found it be super processed and tasted unnatural. It was like eating plastic. The portion sizes are extremely small (especially compared to Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem, which are both larger). Nothing tasted good; not the shakes, snacks, meals, NOTHING. Which is one thing if you are seeing a result and losing weight, which I did not. I was extremely upset about this since i was following the diet religiously for a month and saw no progress on the scale. So, I was eating awful food and not seeing any results; not a great combo when paying an arm and a leg for it with guarantees that it will work (and quickly). I decided that the South Beach Diet wasn't for me (obviously given the results). When I called to cancel (since you cannot do it online), customer service agent informs me that he has to charge me an ADDITIONAL $125 to cancel my account. So, for an awful month of meals, I got no weight change and an additional $125 out the door. When I expressed my frustration and confusion over why they would be charging again (since they did not clearly state that was the cancellation policy). I expressed those concerns to the agent as well as contacted the help line hoping that they would have the decency to refund the cancellation fee (but to no avail). This is a horrible company with awful customer service. I CANNOT SAY IT ENOUGH IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!

This is some of the worst food I have ever tasted. It is also ineffective. I lost 100 pounds on my own through exercise and self regulating my own diet. I signed up for this with the intent of dropping my last 15 lbs. Too few calories left me feeling weak and had difficulty continuing my exercise regimen. Suspended my account only to find the suspension was only effective for a month and they shipped the following months order without any notification before it was shipped!! Food tasted TERRIBLE!! Two words "RIP OFF. "

Best if you have a big recycling bin as there is so much waste in the wrappings, boxes and huge styrofoam container the food arrives in. The first week was easy as each item is specifically spelled out. The second and third weeks, not so, as it not clear as to how many of each food category is allowed. One of the items, a meat bar, right, meat bar, was downright nasty. It went down then up. I gave the second one to my dog. I followed it faithfully with water, and maybe not the full exercise required each day, and lost 3 lbs after 2 weeks. It is expensive and the food is not much better than what you can buy in the frozen food section in the market.

This company tricks you into automatic renewals and charges 125. Cancellation fee the food is ok , but nothing you want or could do long term. I told them I only wanted 1 month to get me started then I can do my own and do can everybody. Diets don't work weather south beach Atkins Keto they all lead to failure . Once you learn to stop dieting and treat your liver the right way you will see that belly fat melt away.
