Different, good but differnet.

As a cat owner I've gone through pretty much every cat litter and cat litter alternative on the market. I've used other pellets in the past so I was a little wary when I first bought the Breeze pellets. My first impressions were that they smell good- better than other litter pellets that I have tried to use in the past. The other thing I noticed right away, is that the pellets are bigger than other kinds that I have used. After using them I noticed quite a few things that make these different than other litter options. I will admit that it took a little bit longer for the cats to get adjusted to the bigger pellets as opposed to the old fashioned litter or even different pellets. But after they become accostomed to them, they worked magically almost. There was almost no tracking and the smell that is on the pellets helps mask the litter box smells. They are a little more expensive than regular litter and some of the other options that are available. But in my opinion- they are very much worth it. They work great with multiple cats as well as just with one. I would for sure recommend this product to others.

I like the system of the Litter Pellets.

What initially got my attention for this type of cat waste control was how unique it is. I love that the pellets stay inside the box, every now and then a couple pellets will get kicked out by our cat. I love how the urine collects in one place and the pad is able to absorb the smell. The one thing that does bother me, and I think it bothers our cat, is the pellets can't cover the poop. Our cat tries to kick the pellets on to it, but I think she gets frustrated with it because she will resort to covering it with our shower curtain instead. And since she can't cover it with the pellets the smell of her poop will quickly hit us, so we almost instantly after she poops, we have to scoop it out. Moisture Absorption The pad does a great job of controlling the smell of cat urine, but it does get damp under the pad. Ease of Cleaning Changing the pad once a week is easy, but since our cat has an issue with the ability to cover her poop with the pellets, so just leaves the poop uncovered, so we have to almost instantly scoop her poop out. Odor Control Unfortuantely there isn't a way to mask the poop smell, because the cat can't bury it with the pellets, so I just had to scoop the poop almost instantly. But as long as the pads are changed within a week, I smelled no cat urine. Ease of Use Where the urine collected, we change the pad once a week, like it says on the pad's package. After a week I notice the pad is full and soaked, we don't have an issue with the smell, but sometimes under the pad it will be damp. Changing a pad once or even twice a week is easier than everyday trying to scoop a clump of pee out, hoping it will stay together.

I definitely hated the Tidy Cat Breeze Litter Pellets. I accidentally bought this kind by mistake, but needed litter that do so decided to try it. I hated it. The pellets are so weird and do not work like the regular sand type litter I am used to. There was no clumping involved and you literally had to look at the poop while you scooped it out. I am grossed out by this and cannot tolerate it. I had to give the rest of the bag away. I did not really notice any pee so I guess it just soaked it up. I will not be buying this kind again and do not recommend it to anyone. There also was not a lot in the bag so it seemed like you would have to buy a ton more than you would regular litter. It also did not hold in any smell so I thought I was going to throw up when I had to clean the box. Also, the cats did not seem to like it as much as the regular kind because they were hesitant to use it and when they did, they did not scoop it over their messes like they usually do.

We love our Breeze system

Our family switched to the Breeze system a few years ago and I could not imagine going back to regular cat litter. We have two older cats (10 and 8) and they did well with the transition from traditional litter to this system. While there is still some tracking of the pellets, they are so much easier to clean up than regular litter and don't stick to your feet. We do clean up #2 as soon as they do it or right when we get home. This cuts down on the smell. We change the pads that come with the system every week and we have no smell at all from #1. I would totally recommend this product for one or more cats. I do suggest you clean up the #2 as soon as it is done to cut down on the odor since these pellets don't cover it like regular litter. We also buy the little baggies like you get for dogs to put the #2 in for easy clean up because we are on a septic tank and I don't want anything unusual going through our system. Give the Breeze system a try, and you will never want to go back to traditional litter.

Not great with odor and our cat disliked it

A friend swore by this litter and recommended that we try it. It was on sale one week so we figured why not give it a try. Maybe it was because our cat was used to a different type of litter, but she HATED this litter. She would still use the litter box, but she would meow and hiss at the box before and after using it. It was clear she was not very happy with the change we had made. The other litter we had never made you realize Moisture Absorption It does a decent job absorbing everything, it just doesn't trap the smell very well. Ease of Cleaning This is not nearly as easy to clean as most of the other brands that are out on the market. You had to basically empty the entire litter box every time you wanted to clean it and because of this, you went through quite a bit more litter then you would have with a different brand. Odor Control Our house has never smelled like cat until we tried out this litter. It may work for some cats and households, but we found it did not keep the cat pee scent as well as other types and brands of litter. It actually seemed to bring out the smell rather then mask it. Ease of Use It IS just cat litter, so there isn't much that is "hard" about use. Open bag, pour into box. When soiled, clean out. Seriously, though, it is harder to use then most only because you have to clean it more then you do other litters.

My cat didn't like it.

I tried Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Pellets because it seemed like a new interesting product. I did not buy the whole kit, just this litter. It did a horrible job of odor control and my cat didn't like the litter. I was hoping this litter would cause less tracking, which is did. But that is about the only good thing about it. It is slightly more pricey than typical cat litter. The first day using it I noticed I was smelling odor already. For some reason my cat had a problem with this litter. She would sit there and just stare at her litter box for ages before she would actually use it. When she would get in her box she would awkwardly step around. I don't think she liked the bigger pellets. I switched her back to her normal cat litter and she was perfectly fine. I wouldn't recommend Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Pellets. My cat did not like the litter and it did horrible with odor control. Odor Control Poor odor control. I noticed a urine scent the very first day.

Kills the odors!

I saw the Breeze system by Tidy Cats and I knew with having multiple cats that it would be something that I would have to try, and I am so glad that I did. I like that this is not a regular clay litter and that it is nothing like conventional litters. It is actually little pellets, I am not sure if they are made of wood or what, but they are way cool and easily to deal with then having to use the clay kitty litter that I have become used to. This pellets are easy to clean, they give a good smell, and they actually seem to take away so much of the odor that had been left behind with regular kitty litter. The pellets do not clump together like kitty litter does, they just hold onto the waste and you can scoop it out without taking tons of the pellets out with you. The urine just goes right through them onto the pad on the bottom of the system and the pellets are still good to use. It is nice to not have to clean out the kitty litter every couple of days, I let it go a week or so with these pellets and you can not even smell it!

Kitty fresh

We saw this on a blog not too long ago saying how amazing this kitty litter is and how it is in pellet form which I thought was pretty cool. So I went to the closest store that I would think had it and searched away. I finally found it and hurried home to go change the kitty box eagerly which NEVER happens! When I changed the kitty box and poured this kitty litter in I was amazed by how little dust there was compared to other kitty litters. I find the dust very nasty and it hurts my lungs when I pour it, I was happy that this litter didn't have any of that nasty dust. After I changed the litter box I waited and waited till I started to smell any odors. Figuring that maybe the cats haven't used it I checked to see if they were and the cat box was full but I didn't smell a thing! This was a week later may I add I am quite impressed with the new kitty litter. I would defiantly recommend this to households with one or many cats because it is that good!

It's unlike any litter I've seen before, and that's a good thing

Tidy Cat Breeze Pellets are so easy to handle it makes it worth the price. This product is interesting because it also uses a pee pad type of deal where the urine goes threw the pellets onto the pad, making it so easy to clean. Moisture Absorption The pellets do not collect the urine, but allows it to go straight to a pad that can be removed. As far a absorption I would say it is not the typical litter type. Ease of Cleaning The pellets with the urine pad makes it so easily to clean. Fecal matter stays on top of the pellets, making it easy to scoop and throw away. The pad for urine collections is as simple as remove, replace with another, and it takes away the need to go through the entire pan and it does not clump and stay moistest at the bottom of the pan which usually would require scraping the stuck on litter. Odor Control This product is not as effective as others with odor control. Instead of the litter covering the wastes, it more of just sits there and the odor will not go away until you remove it. The urine pad is not as good as litter because there is no masking the odor. This is a clean after use type of deal.

Tiny Packet, and Expensive!

After buying the whole kit - litter box and litter and scooper, we never bought this litter ever again. The biggest complaint is the cost, and there's not enough in the bag to justify that cost. This non-clumping litter is not fantastic in any sense of the word. Moisture Absorption To be fair, this non-clumping litter isn't supposed to absorb moisture - the point is to let the moisture fall through to the pee pad underneath while you scoop the poop out regularly. Ease of Cleaning It's really easy to just dump the litter out, and changing the pee pad is even easier because the compartment slides out and you place the new pad in. Odor Control Just like any lingering pee, the litter box starts to smell after a little while, but it doesn't make economic sense to change it more often than once every one or two weeks. Ease of Use Again, you only need to scoop when your cats poop, and not when they pee, so that eliminates extra scooping. One complaint I have is that the litter box has no hood (for privacy concerns and so we don't have to see the poop), but in a sense that also makes it easier to clean.
