We recently moved and of course our cat came with us. He is housebroken and always goes outside but we were afraid to let him out in a new environment right away so had to purchase a litter box and some litter. We bought Tidy cats Scoop small spaces cat litter.This litter clumps very well and does the job of controlling odors. It clumps right up when wet and it is easy to scoop up and dispose of. The litter has a pleasant smell which also helps with keeping cat odors away. It is not very cheap though and is more expensive than other cat litters. I have found it on sale every now and then which helps. Fortunately, my cat became accustomed to his surroundings quickly and went outside again. We still leave the litter box set up just in case he needs it. All is all the moisture absorption of the litter is great, it absorbs quickly and clumps. It is easy to scoop and clean out. It is easy to use and is good for one cat or multiple cats. I recommend this cat litter.

Tidy Cats came up with this cat litter saying it was best for small spaces, it is supposed to stop odors quicker so your whole space does not stink. We had an apartment for a while and got this and it did a pretty good job and controlling the odors and keeping them contained in the litter box. It is not as dust free as it claims though, but not as bad as some litters. Formed nice hard clumps and was easy to scoop and clean. Moisture Absorption Absorbed moisture very well. Formed nice clumps that hardened really fast. Ease of Cleaning Clumps scooped up very easily, almost no breakage. A little tracking outside the litter box but that is to be expected. Odor Control We almost never smelled our cat's messes. Maybe if we were gone all day there would be some odor but it was never really bad. Ease of Use This litter has some dust when you pour it in the litter box. I had to be careful or I would breathe some in or get some in my mouth. I learned quickly to pour very slowly and that would eliminate most of the dust cloud. Other than that very easy to use, cap screws on tight and stores nicely.

I have had favorable results with other Tidy Cat Products and had a coupon for this one, so I thought I'd give it a try. Regrettably, I did not have much luck with the Tidy Cat Scoop Small Spaces Cat Litter. The smell is a little bit over powering for my cat and frankly for my nose. She tends to avoid the litter box, relieving herself next to it rather than getting in the box. When she does get into the box, she tracks a considerable amount of dust on her paws. Another downside is that when she scratches a great deal of dust is also "kicked" up. She also doesn't seem to like the texture of the litter, as she does a lot of "digging." Lastly, I find that it doesn't really clump or absorb as well as some of the other products. None of these are desirable characteristics in a cat litter. The one desirable aspect is that it is not as costly as some of the other scoopable products nor as expensive as the environmentally conscious choices; but, if she is not going to use it, that benefit is overcome by the deficits. Consequently, I would not recommend this product.

I really like to buy tidy cats scoop small spaces cat litter. I have experimented with several brands of cat litter and I have discovered that is is one of the cat litters that works the best for me. The great thing about this cat litter is the fact that it does not smell so bad. Some cat litters have very strong odors like a cheap air fresher and this litter just smells normal and also does an excellent job at disguising my cats scents. This particular litter does a great job at clumping as well. I like that I can typically buy this product at the grocery store which saves me a lot of time. It's very difficult when you have to drive to a specialty pet store for cat litter. Moisture Absorption This product is great at moisture absorption making it easy for me to clean the litter box. Ease of Cleaning It's very easy to clean up. Odor Control The odor control is great. I would recommend cleaning it up every day though. It can stink if you leave it for too long.

I decided to try out the Tidy Cats Scoop Small Spaces Cat Litter because I live in a small one bedroom apartment when I am at school, and thought that it would keep my cats litter box from making everything smell bad. I've tried other Tidy Cat Litters in the past, and was satisfied with them so I thought this one would be great too. Although the small spaces litter was great, I found that it wasn't much different then the other regular Tidy Cats Clumping Litters. I liked that this litter didn't have any dust in it when I poured it. That's one of my big complaints with cat litter, is that the dust flies into my face irritating my asthma. This one did not, so that's a plus. Because it is a dust free litter I found that my cat didn't make tracks outside the box at all. Not only that but this litter is really great at absorbing moistures and odors. Although I do have to say that the fragrance in this cat litter is very strong, and almost perfume like, but I can look past that because it clumps all the mess and odor together making it very easy to clean out my cats litter box without any trouble. My cat doesn't smell, and neither does her box, so I definitely would buy this again. Moisture Absorption It has great moisture absorption. It clumps together making for an easy clean up. The litter also absorbs any cat odors when it sucks up all the moisture. My cats litter box is never moist or wet anywhere because the litter takes care of that. Ease of Cleaning I clean my cats box on a daily basis so for me it's very easy to clean up. This litter clumps up all the moisture making it very easy to clean up. It becomes hard and doesn't fall apart while I am scooping it out of the box. I get my cats box cleaned in under a minute. You can't beat that. Odor Control I feel like this had more fragrance in it, and was very perfume like which did mask the odors and kept my apartment from smelling. It has great moisture absorption which also kept the odors away as well. My cats litter box never smelled bad once with this litter. Ease of Use It has no dust while pouring it, so it doesn't irritate when or fly up into my face. It's also very easy to clean because it clumps up and doesn't fall apart.

I live in a motor home and have one cat. I tried this litter hoping it would solve my dilemma of litter being tracked throughout the house. It didn't!! Like all the other clay cat litters that I tried, this one was nothing even remotely describable as tidy! And if the tracking wasn't enough, for a product being advertised as being specially developed for small spaces, the smell that this litter emitted even after only one use by my cat was horrible! I disliked this litter so much, I gave the remaining litter to a friend to use for emergency traction in the winter or to absorb oil spills in his garage. I didn't even want to use it up! That really says something for me, I usually don't waste or not use anything that I spend money on! Moisture Absorption I can't say it didn't absorb moisture. It did. But so do almost any litter products. Ease of Cleaning If it didn't track all over the house, it might not be too bad to clean. It clumps about average, not any better than others. Odor Control In my home, NO odor control!! Stunk the minute my cat used it! Ease of Use How difficult is any cat litter to use??? You pour it into the tray, clean out the used portion when needed and replace new litter after cleaning the tray. Can't rate it any higher because it isn't outstanding over any others.

When I moved into a loft apartment and got a cat, I went through quite a few different litters to find one that she wasn't allergic to that actually worked. This was still new back then, and I had found a miracle product. If you didn't see the litterbox, you never would have known it was there. It continued to knock out all odor even after adding a second cat. However, after a couple of years of odor-free heaven, I bought a new batch and it didn't work as well. I hadn't changed my cats diets, they weren't stressed, the only thing that changed was the litter. I thought perhaps it was just that batch, but two containers later and I gave up and looked for another litter. It still works well, but not for the price. Moisture Absorption I never noticed any puddling, or hard clumping against the bottom of the pan. Ease of Cleaning Clumps hard enough for easy scooping, remnants wash out easily with a little bit of soap and hot water. Odor Control It used to be better, so that decreases my rating. It's still good, but I was very disappointed when it changed. Ease of Use As easy as any litter, and is low dust.

I searched for awhile to find litter that would work perfectly for our cats. We have two, and they both track a lot. Plus, with multiple cats there is obviously going to be an odor problem. We wanted to not have to change the litter twice a day, but still be pleasant for us and our kitties. We found a lot of litters that did either one or the other, but not both to our satisfaction. We came upon these at Target. The price was right, and I had had positive experiences with Tidy Cats before, just not this product. We were very pleased, and seem to have found our litter! The container is perfect for carrying and pouring, so much more convenient than the cardboard boxes. The litter is not too fine that it creates dust, but not too coarse or jagged for our cats' paws. It doesn't track as much as others, though there is still some. That's somewhat unavoidable I think in our situation. The odor control is great, we can clean the litter once a day, and sometimes even every other day! We are happy, so thanks Tidy Cats. I'd love to try their new lightweight litter, but its a bit pricey. Ease of Use Container is great

When we brought our cats from France to the States, we were on the lookout for the best litter. Our cats like to dig a lot, and are not big fans of the lid for their box. This leads to a ton of tracking. Because we have two cats, one of which has a particularly strong bathroom odor (she's very healthy, just smelly), we needed an odor-killing, non-tracking litter. I did a ton of research, along with trial and error. I tried wheat litter, corn/pine litter, arm and hammer, everything. The pine litter was pretty decent for odor, but the tracking was just terrible. It gets stuck in the carpet and everywhere. When we stumbled on the Tidy Cats Small Spaces litter, (specifically the breathe easy multiple cats), it was great. The jug is so easy to handle and pour, it is easy to store and the price isn't exorbitant. The litter itself is small, easy for the kitties to dig in, and covers odors very well. There is still some tracking, can't get away from it, but much less than with the others. It holds up for a few days! With two cats, that's a big deal. Overall, we've found our litter. We love it, the cats, love it, so our little family is happy! Keep 'em coming Tidy Cats! Ease of Use The design of the jug is the best.

I will start out by saying that I have tried almost every cat litter, over the last 10 years of being a cat owner. I have always lived in small spaces and am always looking for a way to keep that yucky cat litter smell to a minimum. When Tidy Cats came out with this litter, especially 'Formulated' for small spaces, I thought Hooray! This is it! Wrong! I brought it homes and filled the box when the next opportunity came to empty, clean it out and restart. I noticed right away that it really didn't look, smell, feel, any different than the other Tidy Cats stuff. I went ahead and tried it anyhow for 3 days. Every time my cats went in the box (urine or otherwise) I could still smell it across the house. I figured that there was something to this formula that would make it cover up the smell quicker, or last longer, but I saw zero difference. I actually found that another brand with baking soda in it worked way better, so I ended up adding baking soda to the box to finish out this litter, but never bought it again. I think if you have a bigger home that this litter could work for you, but I would not recommend it for 'small spaces'
