Not worth the money
I have become dependent on my toaster oven. I use it every morning and all the time in the summer when I do not want to heat up the house with the big oven. Unfortunately, this one was defective. The bottom knob broke off within a few weeks of purchasing it and the racks would come completely out everytime I would take something out of the oven. Even Heating You certainly have to really watch for hot spots in the toaster oven. I wrap up the majority of my food in tin foil to try to trap the heat in better, but I usually have to take the food out, stir it up, and put it back in. A small inconvenience, but a problem nonetheless. Safety I had an issue with the racks falling out when I was removing the trays. I did get a slight burn when the rack came out with the tray. The top of the toaster oven does become extremely hot although there is a warning label addressing theat. Ease of Cleaning This was next to impossible to clean. The racks refused to come clean even though I used every cleaner in the world on them. Plus the crumbs and dropped food had to be removed from the bottom. I had an awkward time holding the oven while trying to shake out the crumbs. Durability The inside of the toaster became greasy and splattered. Its as if the Teflon coating was not applied well enough. However my biggest issue was worth the knobs. Within two weeks of owning the oven, The bottom knob literally came off in my hand. After that we literally had to screw it back on each and every time we used the oven. I tried to superglue it back on but it broke off on an awkward angle. I did reach out to the company to buy replacement knobs, but they were too expensive. I ended up getting rid of this oven so it was a moot point. Design I liked the smaller size because I am so pressed for space on my countertops. However, the issues with cleaning and the racks constantly coming out were quite annoying.
