Great piece of Equipment!

I love mybGazelle! I started out using it 2 to 3 times a week for 20-30 min but after seeing how easy it is to use and the ease on my knees, I actually look forward to working out! I have increased my workouts to 5-6 times a week for 30 min. Before going to work or if I miss a day I will do it at night for 60 min, burning about 550 calories! All I do is find a good movie on Netflix or cable and watch the movie as I work out and the time flies by! I have noticed definition in my arms, toned legs, my hips are coming in and my abs are firming up since using this wonderful machine! My husband and I have friendly competitions in burning the most calories for the day. I highly recommend it as its for all fitness levels and you will have FUN!

Great for back Issues

5

I have been using this for a number of years as I heard it was excellent to use if you are suffering from back pain. Since I have begun using it, I have found that my back muscles are lengthening, therefore I am experiencing less and less pain in my back. It does take some getting using to initially, however once you do, it is worth every moment of using it. Performance Great for building stamina in the leg muscles and also for back muscles. Comfort Somewhat comfortable to use. It does take some getting use to in the beginning, however once you do, it is a piece of cake. Ease of Use Easy, easy to use. I have experienced no issues using his product since I have owned it. Durability I have owned it for a few years now and have found that it is a little shaky and does need to be re-tightened after using it sometimes, but it is holding up quite well. Design I love the design of this machine. It fits in pretty good with my other exercise equipment.

Tony Little Gazelle Edge

I used to watch this infomercial all the and the models and Tony made this so easy and wonderful to use. I had to have it so I ordered it. I thought this would be the answer to getting fit and losing weight. It is supposed to give you an entire body workout since you have to use your arms and legs to move it. The one thing that I did not like about it was that there was little to no resistance. I was just gliding away and yes I worked up a sweat but I did not feel like it worked my muscles as good as it could. This would be better for people with joint pain and want a lower impact machine. Performance You are basically using your body to move it so performance is based on you. Comfort It is very low impact so very comfortable on your knees, back, and joints. Ease of Use Was pretty tricky to keep my balance at first. You are gliding through air almost so the pedals are just free flying. Durability Seems pretty durable. Design It is bulky so you need a lot of room to use it. It does fold up though to store easier.

Love it

I got the Gazelle as a gift to get back into shape after having knee surgery. I love it! It was really easy to setup, use, and store. It's not high impact but still gives a good workout which is perfect for me. I would say that it's great for beginners and it's perfect for the days you can't make it to the gym. Performance Performance is good. It really just glides back and forth, very simple. Comfort It only took me a couple of minutes to get use to it, after that it was smooth sailing. It's pretty comfortable to use. I use it for 30-40 minutes five days a week with no discomfort. Ease of Use The Gazelle is very easy to use. Anyone could use the Gazelle young or old! Durability I've had mine for awhile and it's still going strong. It's stable and doesn't wobble. It does squeak once in awhile but I took care of it with some lubricant. Design The Gazelle is designed well. I like the counter/digital timer for keeping track of my workouts. The only thing it's missing is a holder for a water bottle then it would be perfect.

The Gazelle is so-so

I purchased this (used thank goodness) thinking that it would be a great investment. I like that it folds up flat and it's fairly easy to move even for a small woman like me. At first I used it a lot, but then I felt like I wasn't getting a very good workout. It's difficult to use for very long because the way it forces you to move isn't natural. You want to bend your knees and run like your body would on a regular elliptical, but all you can do it move your legs back and forth. The best way I found to workout with it was to stand sideways with one foot on each stand and push your feet apart. I got a pretty good inner thigh workout that way. The handles for you to hold on don't have any separate resistance other than the resistance that comes from your legs moving so they were no help for toning. All in all this is a product I rarely used. I ended up giving it away to a friend who was having knee surgery and I think the low impact workout he got from it worked well for him.

Gazelle Edge is awesome!

I received my Gazelle Edge for Christmas and I love it already! It is very more well made than I had always imagined. From the commercials on tv, I expected a shoddy made machine that would not last very long. That is not at all the case! Great job Tony Little!!! It does collapse for easy moving, but I am not the strongest girl so it is a little difficult for me to move on my own.

It works but not intence

My husband bought the gazzelle edge for me before we were married because he knew I wanted to lose some weight and tone up before the big day. I love it! I'm not an outdoors person so working out on this is fun and still productive. But I feel you have to work at it twice as much the get the best results. Im used to hurting after a work out (as crazy as that sounds) to know its really working. I know it is but I dont feel like it is challenging enough if you want to feel your muscels from the workout. I also have noticed that it makes alot of noice after many uses. It squeaks alot and at least on mine it rocks based on how fast you are going. My timer has also stopped working and I haven't even had it for a year yet. Overall though even though I said negative things about it it does work you just have to put more effort into using and use it everyday. You will notice the change in small amounts.

Very easy to use, store and fun

Since I bought the GazelleEdge elliptical, I have enjoyed doing exercises. It is very easy to build, to store, and it does not make any noize. It is fun for anytime. Anyone can do it, children to old people. I love it. I do not get bored with it, but I enjoy. While I do the exercise I feel, the muscle is working. It is amazing how can the machine work with so many muscles at the same time. It does not look as if I am exercising, it is more like playing, having fun. I exercise while I watch tv, so I don't even see the time passing by. I love it. I recomend it to anyone. Even those that can not make many movements. everyone can do it. Another advantage, is that the price was worth it. While other equipments are very expensive, this elliptical for me is good enough. Do the job, makes me happy and saves me money. It is unbelivable how much I saved comparing to other equipments. I am exciting when talking about exercising, when I think about this elliptical. It is fun, and good for my health.

Good for a beginning exerciser.

Before I joined a gym, the Gazelle Edge was a good "get started".  I had never exercised before and have severe asthma.  This got me started.  I worked out on this during an hour-long TV show.  Once I had lost some weight and was comfortable with joining a gym, I really haven't used the Gazelle since.  Now that I've used a regular elliptical, the Gazelle Edge just doesn't getting me pumping the same. I will admit that the digital timer/counter never worked.  And I decided it wasn't worth paying to ship it to be fixed.  It also squeaks (sometimes badly) when I'm working out with it.  If I'm watching TV while on this, I have to turn the TV volume on nearly full-blast. To feel like I'm getting a work-out, I have to either lean forward or lean backward while working out.  This, of course, means I'm also working on my arms or my back respectively. If you need some "help" getting started on a fitness program, the Gazelle Edge is a good match for you.
