My Toro 2400 snowblower rocks!

5

Delaware may not be known for a lot of snow but this is 2 winters in a row...2009-2010, and 2010-2011 where it has snowed non-stop!  Last year we had 75 inches of snow and so far this year we have had about 40 inches of snow and it is only early February!  I would be lost without my Toro snowblower.  I used to shovel my driveway and walkway in previous winters and it is back breaking work.  My wife thought it was a great idea to buy a snowblower I thought we would never see snow again if I spent money on one, man I was wrong.  This machine was the best investment I ever made.  It takes a 3 hour job and completes it in under 1 hour now.  It works wonders at the end of the driveway when the plows come by and push all the snow from the street to the end.  That was rough with a shovel, not anymore with my Toro snowblower.  We had 14 inches of snow January 26th overnight the next morning it took only 30 minutes to bust through it with  my Toro.  I would highly recoommend this for anyone who lives in an area that receives snow during the winter.  You will have no more worries about back problems with shoveling and it is actually fun to use!!!

Toro snowthrower gets the job done

Toro snowthrower  is a great product to have especially for people living in areas prone to a lot of snow.I was sick of my craftsman snow blower giving me problems all the time so I decided I have had enough of it  and got rid of it.I thought  I could get by with just the shovel but with  the recent  heavy snow in the region,I decided to buy this snow thrower. The price was reasonale compaired  to others in the market.Moreso assembling it wasn't bad at all.I have used it five times and so far I have been completely satisfied. It took me about 25 minutes to clean 10 inches of snow and this included my 2 car driveway and the concrete sidewalks all clean and clear. It goes all the way down to the concrete with no clogs left behind.Light weight and the noise level is not as bad.Just the sound of a vacuum cleaner which is a huge plus since I leave for work early and don't want to wake up my neighbors that early in the morning. I will recommend this snow thrower for people looking for good quality product that will last a long time.

nice little snowblower

I bought this snow thrower because I wanted something that I could handle easily.  I have a wheelchair ramp on my home, and I needed something that I could easily use on the ramp.  It's very easy to operate.  I don't have much trouble starting it, it usually starts without using the electric start.  I just pump it a few times and it starts right up.  It's not too big, so it's easy to navigate.  It's perfect size for even an older child to operate.  It pushes easily through the snow.  The width could be wider, but it was okay for what I needed.  I don't have a huge area to plow.  I just wanted it for the driveway and the wheelchair ramp.  The cost was pretty comparable to other brands.  I purchased this snow thrower at Sears.  I did not buy the extended warranty.  I've had the snow thrower for 3 years now, and am really pleased overall with this purchase.  I highly recommend this snow thrower~

Great investment in Buffalo

I don't mind shoveling, but sometimes there is just too much snow! I gave in and bought this blower recently and love it. This snowblower is small enough for me to control yet gets the job done. I dodnt want a huge blower since my driveway isnt that big, but I needed something that was reliable and could go through just about anything. My parents have a toro and I knew the brand was good and easy to use. The setup was minimal and its very easy to take care of. I have started it multiple times without any issues. I am pretty impressed with how much snow this can cut through. It won't work on the chuncks that the plows leave at the end of my driveway, but neither will anyone elses. For such a little machine it throws a lot of snow. I have had it on for long periods of time with no issues. The range at which it shoots snow is very good and also the ease to change shooting direction and height. Overal this seems like a reliable and very durable little snow monster

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow; we are ready!!!

This snow blower is our first.  We are so pleased to have chosen this brand and model.  It's easy to use, works well, and makes snow-blowing fun.  My husband loves his new toy and it's nice b/c I can use it too, when needed.  We are in Ohio, so winter is bad at times, with snow accumulations of up to two feet sometimes.  I know, nothing like in NY or MI or some other states, but either way, it works for the volume of snow we get.

Great snow blower.

We got this last winter from my father in law after seeing how much snow we get here in Alaska and him worrying about myself being alone with the kids when the hubby deploys and it has been so helpful. Hubby has yet to deploy but if so I know we will have no trouble clearing the driveway and side walk during the winter. We have onl needed to use it once so far this winter but then again it's only Novemeber. The snow blower is small enough to stay in the garage and not take up much space, it is easy to push and throws the snow a good distance (into my neighbors yard, lol) allowing the plowers to take it from the road better. It was a little expensive but well worth it, it has only clogged up on me twice these past two winters when the snow reached 3 ft, naturally it couldn't handle all that snow so we had to work it little by little until it all cleared. It will shred other objects too so becareful around grass and mats that may be hiding under the snow.

You'll never buy another Push Mower if you get a Toro

5

I grew up in San Francisco with my grandparents.  My grandpa used a Toro push mower at the Presidio.  This was approximately 50+ years ago.  Now as a homeowner myself, I have always went for the Toro brand mowers.  I had a power one a few years ago, but my neighborhood is very quite so I went back to the stand push mower by Toro.  It's even red and I can just see my grandpa when he would come home at night and would be in the garage cleaning it up.  I must say in those days, just owning your own mower was something as good as gold.  The Toro brand is tough, long lasting, low maintenance and is a real work horse.  I would truly recommend a Toro Brand mower, weather a ride on, electric, gas or my personal favorite, the push mower.  I not only get a nice lawn cut but I get a little work out as well.  I have a small lawn in back and I must have had this current push along Toro for about 15 yrs now.  The only time I had to take it in for repair, wasn't a repair really just to have the blades sharpened.  I would definately recommend theToro Brand to family and friends and try to convince them that the good old push mower helps save our air quality and you get a little work out in the fresh air as well.

Toro GTS is one of the best mowers I have used

I am a Park Ranger.  Mowing grass as a daily chore for me.  Have tried several brands of mowers.  To date, Toro has been the best as far as low maintnance and dependability.  Just wish it was lighter in weight.  Once a week I have to put the mower in a canoe and paddle out to two islands for mowing.  Maybe Toro could make amower with an aluminum deck.

You won't a big bulky 2-stage snow blowerafter you try this one.

I have used my toro curved rotor snow thrower for many, many seasons.  I have only had to repair the housing edge and rotor from the years of use.  It starts every season and has taken me through many snow storms over the last 15 plus years.  It cleans down to the ground and is lightweight enough to move around through all kinds of snow.  It can't tackle the over 12 inch storms, but I go out a couple of times during the storm and take care of business that way.  I watch my neighbors trying to unclog their big 2-stage models and mine just keeps going right through the snow.   My brother-in-law used a -stage model of another brand for years and years and switched to this one after seeing mine.  It does a better job and is easier to maneuver.  As is the case with much of my outdoor equipment that is made by Toro, I expect this snowthrower to give me many more years of service.  It starts on the first, second or third pull everytime out.  I don't grumble when I see snow coming, I just fire up the Toro.

this is a great machine to throw lots o snow but not too big to

Toro Snowthrower CCR 2400 GTS has been a grat machine for us because we have a double wide driveway on a slightincline. IT's not a terry long driveway but you need a pretty heavy duty machine like this one to throw that snow far and wide without hitting your neighbor's driveway over the big mounds of snow (although that is fun!). It has a manual shoot that you use the handle to move from side to straight to side. That is fun too because you have several angles to throw the snow from. I get on all my snow gear and get out there and slowly dig away at the snow. This model is light enough that you can actually push it toward a mound of snow and life it up to throw the snow further over the mounds instead of right into the mounds and back into the driveway. The starter is quite easy although you have a have a feel for the choke. You have to listen very carefully to see if the engine will catch and get enough gas. If it doesn't you have to fuss with the choke which in the end generally isn't that much work once it gets started.
