I HATE taking anything for my cold/flu....Until I found Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Nighttime. Relieves congestions. Helps me breath. Stops cough. Lets me sleep thru the night. Works much better that Nyquil! The taste could be a little better, but I keep in the fridge and it helps me tolerate the taste. Congestion Relief Helps break up congestion Chest Congestion Relief Helps break up congestion Relief of Aches & Pains Helps relieve aches and pains so you can sleep Cough Suppression Relieves cough so you can sleep

Great for cold and sinus trouble

5

I really love this stuff. I actually wish I had some now. I am currently battling a sinus infection and finished the last I had of this medicine last night. Basically it comes down to...do you want to breathe at night? Do you want to be able to sleep with a sinus infection or cold? If yes, this is the product you need. It will make you drowsy within about 30 minutes of taking it. It also has an effect similar to vapor rub in the way that it opens your nasal passages. It is not twelve hour relief, however. Sometimes I wake up still feeling bad in the morning but I am at least able to sleep through the night. This is the quickest relief I have found on the market...excluding something that you apply to the body...like a vapor rub. I feel like this product works better than any I have tried. I get consistent relief from troublesome symptoms and my body gets the sleep it needs to heal itself. I feel it is a bit pricey considering how large an adult dose is and the amount you get in each bottle, but when I get a bad sinus infection or cold it is the first medicine I reach for.

Works the best and puts me to sleep

5

I have tried multiple night time cold medicines and out of all of them, this one works the best. It relieves all my symptoms along with the aches and pains of being sick. Not only that but the minty flavor of this stuff doesn't taste bad tastes like an breath mint and if your throat hurts feels good while going down. Not only all that but it actually makes you sleep well which is a real bonus.

My "Go To" Cold Medicine

5

Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Nighttime has become my "Go To" medicine when I get the cold or flu. I was always a NyQuil or Alka Seltzer consumer until I got sick while on vacation visiting a friend. My friend had Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Nighttime in her medicine cabinet. I was skeptical but desperate. As soon as I took the medicine, I felt immediate relief as I could feel the "cool burst" soothing my sore throat as I swallowed the medicine. Not long after that, I was able to feel the drowsy affects of the "nighttime" medicine. Not only was I drowsy, but relaxed as I could feel the pain relievers working to relieve my aching body. Congestion Relief The congestion relief was very good. I was able to breathe better and dried up. Chest Congestion Relief Chest congestion relief was also very good. My lungs felt clearer after taking the product. Relief of Aches & Pains Excellent on aches and pains. I was feeling so much better after taking the medicine. My head and aching body felt much better. Cough Suppression This medicine helped with the coughing. It also soothed my sore throat!

Tylenol Cough & Sore Throat works wonders but tasted TERRIBLE!

3

It pains me to lower the start rating on this product because I really believe it works wonders when you want/need to feel better. However, the taste of Honey Lemon together (or their version of it) is a TERRIBLE idea! I can handle every other medicine I've taken over the years except for this one. I got a great deal with coupons on this product and bought 4 bottles - I regret it! I can barely get the medicine down - the taste is unbareable! Besides the taste, the medicine does work. When you take it you will notice a different to the point where you know when you can take your next dosage! It does a great job alleviating side effects to your sickness. You just can tell when your next dosage is up! If you think you can handle an awful taste go for it, but I've had their medicine in the other flavors. It just makes sense to get those instead of this one. I have a feeling they'll be phasing out the flavor soon!

Tylenol Cough Sore Throat Warming Nightime really works.

Tylenol Cough Sore Throat Warming Nightime Liquid Honey Lemon works extremely well. It really does warm and soothe the throat and decrease coughing. It also allows you to get a good nights sleep. As a mother of three, I need my sleep, and this product gave me that when I thought I would not be able to stop coughing long enough to go to sleep. The only problem I had with this product was the taste, but that is common with most cough medicines.

Gets the job done

3

I recently had RML Pneumonia and had a fever rocketing up to 104. During my 2 week struggle with pneumonia I tried several fever reducing medications to alleviate my terrible fever. Most of the Tylenol products I tried worked reasonably well, lowering my fever without much of an issue. As I am not great with swallowing pills, I picked up some of this liquid cold Tylenal. It worked really fast squashing my fever from 104 down to under 100 for 4-6 hours after each dose. Unfortunately, I gagged after taking this medication as this is the worst tasting liquid medication I have ever had the displeasure of putting down my throat. But, it gets the job done and helped me stay sane as I battled my bacterial pneumonia. I've never been good at taking pills, but unless you REALLY need to take liquid medication, or can't possibly take pills, I'd just stick with good old fashioned Tylenol pills. Drinking this stuff is like drinking concentrated-melted-couch-drops. Yeck!

tylenol nighttime multi-symptom medicine will knock you out

4

I HATE taking liquid medicine, but when you are up with a cold and can't sleep, you will scan your medicine cabinet until you find SOMETHING. I happened to have some Tylenol warming nighttime liquid in my cabinet, and well, I was desperate. I don't like liquid medicine because of how it tastes going down my throat. The smell alone can knock you over. I quickly poored the recommended dose, and down in one gulp it went. Ugh..yuck. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or bad think, but you can definately feel it warming your throat and stomach on the way down. Within minutes, I was feeling very dizzy and light headed. Again, not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing, but I really did feel like i had to go back to bed quickly before I feel asleep on the bathroom floor! I did end up sleeping all night after taking the one dose. If you are looking for a cold medicine that will put you out of your misery so you can get some sleep, then you may want to give it a try. Once you get over the taste going down, it should be sweet dreams from there. Just DON'T use this one during the day, or else you won't get anything done.

Never again!

If you're looking for relief this is simply not the product for you! Owning my own business in which I have to be on the go and managing both people and animals all day I can't afford to be knocked down by cold symptoms...there's simply no time in my schedule and in this economy with belt tightening on our clients part more and more of the work falls to me as theres little extra funds for employees.  I purchased this medication in liquid form as, in general, liquids seem to give quicker relief as they are more readily absorbed into the system and, frankly, when you've already got a sore throat who want to be swallowing a horse sized pill or two? I purchased the night time product along with their day-time product (see other review) and I thought the daytime products taste was as bad as it could get....I was wrong...their "Honey Lemon" night time product is every bit as bad as the daytime "Cool Burst" product.  As with the daytime product, little relief of symptoms of congestion, headache, coughing and sore throat were provided and it certainly didn't help me sleep as now I could add nausea to the mix. No relief, horrible taste, and expensive to boot...not my idea of a good buy.
