The Ultra Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener is great to add a little more to your daily washes. Wonderful for leaving clothing soft, smooth, fresh smelling and with minimum wrinkles. Helps to keep our static as well during dry or winter months. The scent is soft and fresh and not overwhelming. A small amount goes a long way and the bottle lasts for a long time. Its soft enough to use on delicates and baby clothes, yet nice for everyday washes as well including sheets, towels, jeans, tshirts, socks, etc. Downy always has great quality products and they offer a lot of variety so there is always something for your specific wants and needs and preferences. Performance Great performance as with all of their products. Helps to take care of your clothes and keep them in premium shape for as long as possible. Scent Scent is fresh and refreshing. Not too strong and soft on sensitive skin and noses.

I love Downy so I'll try anything new variety that they release including their Ultra Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener. I do so many loads of laundry a week it's ridiculous and towels seem to be the worst offender. They routinely seem to come out of the dryer stiff and scratchy like cheap hotel towels if I don't use a liquid fabric softener. When I tried this latest formula I was thrilled to discover that it works just as well as usual. Towels (and other laundry) came out smelling fresh and clean and wrinkle free. More importantly they were flexible and soft. There were no stiff washcloths at all! And, amazingly, even though I forgot to put the dryer balls in my dryer with a load of sheets they came out static free which is amazing! I have to admit that while I love the performance I'm not in love with the scent. It's not completely overpowering but it is very soapy smelling. I noticed that it lingers quite a while after going through the wash and dryer. Towels that I washed days before still have a rather strong soapy smell. At first I thought it was my detergent not washing out but then I discovered that it was supposed to be like that. The smell is designed to linger. I've found it to be fine with towels and sheets but on clothes it's not ideal. Overall, this is a lovely product and I definitely recommend it if you like the scent.

I recently purchased a great deal of clothes and towels from a thrift store. They were a great bargain but they needed a little TLC. I never splurge on fabric softener, but I wanted to make my "used" items "new". I had a coupon for Downy and the clerk at the store suggested I try this scent. She said her family loved it. I could not agree more. My clothes and especially the towels were soft and looked less wrinkled coming out of the dryer. However, it was the scent of the clothes that made me so happy. Often times when I get items from the thrift store, I have to air them out for a few days. With this Downy they went right into my closet. Literally, my entire closet smelled amazing. This mountain fresh has an amazing softly floral, new linen, woodsy, scent. It is fantastic. Here is the great part. I have ultra sensitive skin, and I was still able to wear the clothes and use the towels without any irritation or redness! Performance Did a fantastic job of softening my towels and clothes. Scent If there was a 100 button I would have pressed it for this scent! Long-lasting, and pretty. It made my whole closet smell fresh

Before we moved to the country, I always used dryer sheets as opposed to liquid fabric softener. After moving, I was able to use a clothesline for drying my clothes so a dryer sheet was no longer an option. I have relatives that use Downy exclusively so I thought I would try it out. I love it. This is a great product. Drying clothes outside can stiffen them up a bit, but I can really tell a difference with Downy. If I forget to pour it in a load, the clothes are much stiffer and do not smell nearly as nice. Performance We can definitely tell a huge difference between using this fabric softener and going without it. It has great performance. In the dry winters, I can definitely tell a difference in reducing static electricity. Scent I am a big fan of mountain spring scent. It makes the clothes smell wonderful coming out of the washer and really stays with the fabrics so you get a nice and lightly scented finished clothes product when they come out of the dryer.

My family has used one form of Downy or another my entire life. Downy has a splendid way of making even the toughest of materials feel soft to your skin. It takes away the itch to any fabric. And, as an added on bonus, it gives a wonderful scent that lasts and lasts. Performance Downy is the best in making even the roughest materials soft. It does what it advertises it does and it takes away any static cling. Those sweaters that make you itch, those sweaters that are rough, the pjs that stick to your skin, and the shirts that are so rough on your skin, all can be fixed with just a cup full of Downy in the wash cycle. They will all feel all so great on even the most sensitive of skin after Downy is done with them. Scent Mountain Spring is a wonderful scent. I have gotten compliments time after time after my clothes have been washed using this fabric softener. It is so fresh and intoxicating and gives you the oh so clean smell, all will enjoy the scent of this fabric softener.

I love this fabric softener, it has a fantastic scent and works wonders on rough clothing like work uniforms. Doesn't gum up in the washer like cheap softeners do. Add it to the Downey Ball and it's a timesaver too! Price is on the high side of the range, but it's worth the extra money to know my clothes smell great and are static free even right out of the dryer! I don't recoment this for military uniforms though, it tends to dull the color a bit. Notntge best out there for people with extra sensitive skin and definitely not for use on infant clothing or bedding. It's a great product for washing the "locker room" smell out of those sports uniforms too! Performance Not the best FS out there for kiddos with skin allergies. But I love it on my clothing, especially my work uniform and scrubbs! Even keep the static away. Scent Best Downey scent by far! Not too strong but it lasts a long time. Especially great for linens and towels that sit in the closet a few days before you use them.

I must not use liquid fabric softener very often because when I went to use some the other day, I noticed it was clumpy and in big blobs instead of liquid.  I went to the store to get some new fabric softener and was overwhelmed with all the different brands and scent choices.  I prefer fruity scents, but didn't see any, so I bought Ultra Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener.  When I unscrewed the lid to take a whiff in the store, it smelled nice and refreshing; unfortunately, the scent *dramatically* changed when I used it on my laundry. **Ultra Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener** is said to do the following: - Freshen with an incredible scent - Contain "Renewing Scent Pearls" for fresh bursts of fragrance that release with your embrace - Infuse fabric with softness - Fights against static cling - Helps reduce wrinkles I have only used this product once because frankly, that's all I could stand.  Yes, it does soften clothes, but the *Mountain* *Spring* scent changed from nice and refreshing to an incredibly strong, overwhelming, Irish Spring scent.  When I hung my gentle cycle from the curtain rod in my bathroom, I could smell the horrible *Mountain* *Spring* scent throughout my house! Even when wearing the dry clothes that I washed with **Ultra Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener**, the scent is still too strong.  I get whiffs of it throughout the day and it gives me a headache.  Not only do I not want to smell like a man who showered with Irish Spring, but I don't want ANY scent to be overwhelming - even a scent I do like. I have a feeling those lovely "Renewing Scent Pearls" are unnecessary and might be what is causing the scent overload.  Not only do I not recommend **Downy Mountain Spring Fabric Softener**, I will probably never purchase another Ultra Downy fabric softener.

Anytime I buy fabric softener I buy Downy.  I stopped using fabric softener for a while due to budget constraints, just thought it was something that I could live without, but after a while I really missed the softness of my laundry especially my towels.  So, I went right back to Downy and I have always been really loyal to this product.  I normally purchase Downy with Febreeze (spring and renewal) but if they do not have that one available the Mountain Spring is my next go to.  My laundry has never come out softer or smelled better.  I actually get compliments from people saying how great my kids and my clothes smell, and I love that.  Some would consider Downy pricey, but I can usually always find it on sale somewhere and there are plenty of coupons available for this product.  Even without the savings it's well worth the money and I'm more than willing to pay for quality.  Downy is the only fabric softener I'll ever use.

I am a big fan of this fabric softener. It works wonderfully and smells great! I try to be a savvy shopper and use coupons, but it seems as if sales and coupons on this product are few and far between. I have to say that I like it enough to pay full price! I have tried using Snuggle and do not like it at all! I find Downy to be far superior - especially this scent. I just wish there were a way to get it cheaper!
