ok, but not great

The Up and Up Erase-Away Mulit-Use Erasers do a decent enough job for cleaning, but tend to crumble apart more easier than its brand name competitor. I felt like I needed to use more of this store brand's eraser product to accomplish the same cleaning job that would have been achieved with the other product. It will do cleaning, and does get scuff marks and such off the wall, just be prepared for it to disintegrate faster and fall apart quicker, thus having to use another eraser. By using so much it kind of defeats the purpose of it being cheaper in the first place. Performance The Up and Up brand eraser does almost the same job as the brand name eraser. I use it mainly for scrubbing walls clean from scuff and crayon marks from my children. It will eventually clean the area, but it may take longer, and will fall apart rather easily. The Up and Up eraser does not seem very durable for long periods of use. Its the cheaper product and you will notice after using it for the first five minutes. Scent There really isn't a strong smell with this brand of erasers so I gave it an eight.

Good, but not great

Multi-use erasers are one of the most useful cleaning items any household can keep in stock, as they are great for taking care of so many different tasks and brightening up surfaces by removing scuffs and stains. However, if you're going to use erasers in your home, you'll want to go ahead and get the best you can. Up & Up is a reliable brand for most things, and the lower cost is appealing, but the cost difference between these and brand name erasers isn't very much. I would recommend skipping these unless you truly can't afford the brand names or if the cleaning you need to do is especially light. Performance These were great at getting out the smaller, lighter stains, but I found that they tended to fall apart and rip if too much pressure was put on then while scrubbing out deeper scuffs. Scent I found that these tended to pick up and leave behind more odors than other brands of erasers that I have used.

I'm usually a ritual user of the mr clean magic erasers. Recently I decided to switch due to the fact that I've been having a great experience with their other products. I was however, pleasantly surprised at the quality of these up and up magic erasers. Now don't get me wrong they're not going to replace my mr clean magic erasers completely, but I will be keeping them on hand for more day to day cleaning tasks. I recently moved into. Y new home and I have been using these to clean up all sorts of things. After painting my window sills I was able to wipe clean any paint residue lingering on the windows and surprisingly enough even the walls. The outside of my front door was kind of dingy so I took one of these multi use erasers and wiped it down and I didn't even have to scrub at all!! At half of the price I was buying the name brand product I was able to purchase to sets at my local target!

Just not as good as Mr Clean

Normally I like Up & Up products. Considering they're an off brand, I think they generally work very well. I like Target. I like their store brand Up & Up. I like Mr Clean Magic Erasers. The way I figured it was, you put those three things together and it only makes sense to try the Up & Up brand Erase-Away Multi- Use Erasers. Right? Wrong. In this case the store brand just did not have the same quality as the national brand. These erasers fell apart much, much faster than their Mr Clean counterparts. They weren't nearly as effective at taking marks off walls. Which is what I end up using them for pretty often. With little ones in the house I find "artwork" on my walls here and there. Sometimes it's intentional, often it's accidental. Either way, it's got to go. These were not not helpful at all. I guess this is just one of those things where you get what you pay for. From now on, I'll be sure to stick with the real deal. Scent I don't think these are really supposed to have any scent.

These store brand Magic Erasers work like the Mr. Clean ones.

Cleaning the stovetop on my semi-new range/oven has been a giant thorn in my side. Black crud keeps accumulating under and around the burners and I've tried basically every cleaning product known to man to try to remove it with minimal results. The most effective thing I've found is the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, but using 3 or 4 of them at a time can get expensive. I decided to try Target's version of Magic Erasers as they were less than half the price of the name brand product. *Up & Up Erase-Away Multi-Use Eraser* is Target's store brand version of the very popular Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. The sponge is supposed to be able to remove dirt, soap scum, marks on walls, tough stains, etc. You simply wet it with clean water and squeeze out the excess before use and then gently rub it on surfaces to remove dirt and stains. You are supposed to rinse between dishes and then throw it away after multiple uses. These *Up & Up Erasers *worked just like the much more expensive Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. It did the same job of removing the black crud on the stovetop and these erasers wore out just as quickly as the more expensive ones. Unfortunately, it still took me 3 of them to get my white stovetop looking somewhat presentable. I'll definitely buy these again instead of the name-brand ones, but I really hope that I can find an easier way to clean the stove soon. This has been really frustrating! Performance These cleaning pads are effective in removing tough stains but they also wear down and disintegrate rather quickly. I'd probably need like 4 of them to completely clean the top of my stove just once. Scent not applicable

up & up Erasers are great for the whole house!

I usually use up & up Erase-Away Multi-Use Erasers for walls because they clean them so easily and effectively, but I've recently realized the "multi-purpose" function these guys have! **up & up Erase-Away Multi-Use Erasers** are very similar to Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, but I think the texture of the "sponge" is slightly different. In addition to cleaning my walls, these sponges are great for removing stains on my kitchen floor. I just get it damp and rub the eraser over the stain and it's almost immediately gone. I've tried using them on baseboards but since they require more effort, the sponge tends to crumble and make more of a mess than I want, so for baseboards, I would recommend a traditional cleaning sponge or wipes. I love how inexpensive these erasers are. Since up & up is Target's generic brand, you get get a box of these for about half the price you would pay for Mr. Clean. My only gripe is the inevitable crumbling, but it doesn't stop me from buying them!
