I have been using it for two years. There is no problem making soy milk, nut milk, fruit juice, and etc. I do not have to worry about the blade has to be changed per year like another competitive brand.

I've had several blenders over the years and they always seem to die on me, or leave  huge chunks of unblended food or ice.  When I saw a demonstration about the Vitamix in a local grocery store, the man demonstrating said that it could blend rocks!  I haven't tried to blend rocks yet, but it makes wonderful smoothies, as well as hot and cold soups, pates, dressings and homemade mayo -yum!!! I highly recommend a vitamix blender.
