I purchased this after my little one grew out of his Tote and Go laptop.  I wasn't that impressed with the Tote and Go laptop but my son seemed to enjoy it a bit and since I found the Vtech Learning Laptop during a Black Friday for a great price I purchased it.  But frankly...I don't think it's even worth half of the price I paid for it.  The technology is way behind compared to other toys in our house.  My son played with the laptop only a few times and unfortunately it was no competition for apps downloaded on our ipod and phone.  I guess its hard to compete with full color screen, music and video we have download on the ipod. The screen on the Vtech Learning Laptop is grey and white and looks more like a calculator.  The younger boys in the house enjoy playing with it but they don't actually play the games.  Their play is more like role-playing as they bang on the keyboard and pretend they are typing.   I wouldn't buy this again.

I bought this Vtech Learning Laptop whenit was on sale and got it for my grandkids when they come for a visit. I wanted something to have that they could learn from and this was the best way to do it. I love or Vtech learning Laptop and it comes in  spanish or English so if you want your kids to learn both then this would be a good product to have. I have one grandson that doesn't really know how to do it but just plays with the keys. He will get his out when I have mine out and is all excited thinking that he is doing what grandma is doing. This can be a little costly but if you find it on sale then that helps and it is the best learning tool at the same time. It has a little mouse that is hooked to it to and think they are hot stuff playing with their own laptop and having a mouse hooked to it too. It was a great find for the kids and glad to have it here for them to play with, it is a great laptop if you are looking for one.
