I really like my weber grill. We had a severe storm come through and knocked over my grill, I called to buy a replacement piece and they sent it for free! There customer service has been excellent! (I have called three separate times, and everytime has been the same!!Excellent!!!)

Buy Buy Buy it!!!!!! I have had the grill for 7 years now and still looks and grills like i have just purchased it. I have had others but nothing compares to this brand. I live in the Northeast where the weather can sometimes give your outdoor furniture and outdoor decorations a beating...This grill went coverless one year and not a speck of damage was had..BUY BUY BUT it! You might pay a little more for the brand but its worth it 10 times over.

When we bought our house the stove and oven were not in working order. Our webber grill was our life line to cooking. We were able to have a party for 40 people preparing everything on the grill, boiling water for potato and macaroni salad and making hard boiled eggs for deviled eggs. Not to mention the great hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken. We cooked for a month breakfast and dinner until our stove was delivered Replaced a few parts over the years, but still working hard all year round.

I cannot say enough about this grill. I my opinion you can't go wrong with a Weber grill and the Silver Geneses is no exception. We have had our for 5 years with no problems. The grates are coated and easy to clean. There is even an upper great for cooking vegetables or toasting buns. It has a sturdy handle for opening and closing, easy to use dials for adjusting temperatures on both sides of the grill. You can just use one side for grilling smaller portions or both when you have a big cookout. The grill has doors underneath that open for storage and a drip pan is out of view. This grill features areas on both side of the grill for placing utensils, plates, etc. Did I mention it cooks great with little maintenance.

We have had our Weber Genesis Silver gas grill for several years now, and it is still working like a champ. So easy to cook anything perfectly, especially if you reference the Weber's Big Book of Grilling cookbook (my grilling bible). Like any grill it needs to be cleaned out periodically, depending on how frequently you use it and how messy your food is. Easy to extend the lifetime of this grill by purchasing new flavorizer bars every couple of years.

I have had this grill for about 10 yrs and it works the same as it did when I first got it.It is very easy to clean unlike I have seen with charocole grills. The only problem is when you use the grill part or the burner the cook very high when turn down cant hardly get the burner to stay lit and on the grill is about the same. Other than that depending on the person I don't see it as a really big proble. When we had tha storm of 7-11-06. That wass only means of eating we cooked food that would go bad right away it was a great alternitive to haveing a real stove . great on hand in an emergency.It also cooks a lot quicker than a charcole grill, It doesn't take all day usually only about an hour.

Before we invested in a Weber gas grill, we had at least 3 other less expensive (but recognizable name/ good quality) grills. We had been happy enough with their performance. The cooking wasn't necessarily "even" but that's all part of grilling, right? -- WRONG! The ignitor on each and every one of our previous grills quit working fairly soon after getting them; but that's just to be expected, right? -- WRONG! ... and we needed to replace the grills after just a couple of seasons; but that's just expected life span of a grill, right? -- WRONG again... We purchased our Weber grill as a replacement to another manufacturer's model. We had asked around and heard basically the same experiences as what we had from just about everyone... until we spoke to a friend with a Weber gas grill. He said "I absolutely LOVE my grill, and we have had it 'forever'" -- WHAT? how different can it be we wondered... so the guys chatted a bit, and after hearing about how evenly it cooked, how the ignitor was still working, years and years later, and how the grill itself had lasted and performed like new for the entire life (and was still working that way). Our friend told my husband he would NEVER own anything else based on his experience with Weber. We went to a few stores and ended up finding a "floor model" that had been marked down (almost never heard of with Webers), so we bought it. When we got it home, my husband noticed a very small nick out of the enamel on the exterior of the top of the grill. He contacted Weber to see if they could advise him how to repair the nick (if there was a kind of paint we could use or what should be done). The girl in customer service was beyond helpful, and apologetic... and sent us a NEW top of the grill! Needless to say we were immediately impressed with the customer service of this company. After years and years (5, maybe more) of use, our grill is still working like new. The ignitor works like a charm, EVERY time, the cooking is even and easy to control -- there are three burners each running horizontally across the grill to help regulate the temperatures. The grill has a work surface that expands into a nice long area, but drops down for easy storage, it has a storage rack under the grill and on the side with the controls, there are hooks to hang the grill tools. There is also a little counter balanced mechanism on the grill that shows your propane level, and it works very well. The grill looks like it's been used, the grates are "seasoned" and the rack under the grill is cluttered with grill brushes and accessories... but it is still in fantastic condition, no one would ever guess it's age! I will agree that the Weber grills do tend to be higher priced than many of the others, BUT... you will certainly be saving money in the long run! I can honestly say that we too are now loyal Weber customers for life!

We've enjoyed this grill for ten years now. It's done an excellent job grilling burgers, chicken, fish, and even veggies. We've had a cover on it and it's been outside but, no matter, it's still in great condition. We've not even been good at cleaning it but it's still been good. The propane bottles have worked out well and it is convenient and easy. The only downside is that the drippings can easily start a few flames but typically we've used aluminum and that helps greatly. Or, we've just been more careful about leaving it unattended or we make sure that we regularly turn the chicken and beef. The knobs have worked well, too, and there have been no "poofs" of gas when we've started the grill.

This grill is the one you need to buy because you know you want to at food that tates great. This grill beat the other hands down without even trying. My wife wanted this grill because her freinds that she went to school with had the same gril and used to tell her how much she enjoyed the taste and flavor of everything that she grilled. So, realizing that my wife would not be satisfied until i bought this thing, I am so hapy that i did.It works great. It sparks up right away and gets even heat fast and that is so important in a great tasting BBQ. So we are very elated that we did in fact purchase this unit and we would recommend it to others that ar uncertain about what to get or what to buy. Get it and start cooking!
