I love to grill. I own three grills, including this one, and two smokers. I have propane smoker, wood and charcoal burning smoker, a regular propane grill, an all charcoal grill, and this Weber performer. This grill is by far my favorite. It has so many functions it really is unreal. I bought this at a local store and they were offering free assembly with the purchase of any grill. I was very impulsive and started to decline the assembly offer because I really wanted to get this thing home, but after doing some research I realized I there was surely potential for my to mess the entire grill up because of my impulsivity. They called me two days after I paid for it and I went to pick it up. The grill is VERY light and I was able to load it in my truck on my own. When I got home, it was just as simple to down load it, and the over sized wheels on it made it easy to roll over landscape rock and into the back yard. I also purchased two small coleman propane tanks that tie right into the grills itself. The grill has an igniter button, which makes starting the propane option simple and quick. It came with two charcoal baskets which helps keep the charcoal in the area you want it, and it makes clean up very simple. I usually put the two baskets right over the flame to light the charcoal, then shut it off. I like this option because you do not have to use any lighter fluid or matchlight charcoal. I use regular kingsford briquettes or lump charcoal to cook. The middle grate comes out to make adding charcoal simple, and this also provides the option for a sear grate, wok, flat griddle, and pizza stone. I only have the wok, which makes for good fajitas and discada. This grill is great for so many reasons, but I mostly use it when I want to do some indirect heat cooking or to smoke smaller meats. I smoke ribs and pork loin on this grill because it is big enough to put the meat and a water pan. The vent are easy to adjust, and there is a place to control air on the cover.

So far this is a really good grill. I've had it for about two month so far and the thing I like the most is the ash catching feature on the bottom. It's super easy to move around and is obviously of high quality. This version does have the gas assist start, but I still use the Weber Chimney to start and have just been using the gas assist to light some newspaper under it. Absolutely love this unit. It came well packaged and easy to assemble.

I got this grill from a friend and I seldom use it as I have my own grill to perform the main cooking part. This grill is as powerful as most of the grills on the market. heats up evenly and cooks food extremely fast. Versatility It cook almost any food you desired in no time. You can even cook outside in the hot summer days. Heats up fast and makes delicious foods within minutes. Ease of Use The grill is very easy to light up. Probably the easiest. Anyone can use it without much issues. Ease of Cleaning Usually, charcoal grills are very easy to clean. This charcoal grill is no different and can be cleaned inside few minutes. Durability The grill looks strong and hopefully last few years till I need another one to buy. Whenever I used it, works flawlessly without any problems.

We have had a Weber Performer Charcoal Grill for about four or five years now and at first, we really did love this grill. It has a spacious cooking area so you can grill many things at once, it is fairly easy to operate, assuming you can get charcoal started without a fuss, unlike me. The Weber Performer Charcoal Grill also has a nice little "counter" so you do not have to run back and forth with plates and such every time you tend to your cooking. Everything can conveniently go right there. As for the ease of cleaning aspect of the grill, I cannot really say much, we always cover the grill with aluminum foil for a really easy, no fuss clean up. My problem with the grill, however, is only that, no longer than we have had it, the Weber Performer Charcoal Grill will not stand up any longer. The legs just lay diagonally as if it is trying to fold the grill into a flat position. This creates quite a bit of problems when you actually try to use the grill. I suppose we will just have to take the basin and make a fire pit with it instead.
