I purchased a new stove and wanted a new microwave also. The stainless steel is beautiful. It cooks so evenly, and cooks quickly! I am so glad I chose this microwave!

I love the sleek looks of the door and handle. The handle seems very secure. To me this is a concern because I have had loosened handles on two previous machines. I also appreciate that the surface seems to repel fingerprints. It is easy to keep clean, inside and out. One thin that I miss in this microwave is having a button that disengages the turntable. This is a nice feature that this machine seems to lack. Performance It works well, heats food quickly and evenly and has a large interior. Settings/Features I would appreciate a turntable disengage button but can live without it. Design I really like how this microwave looks in my kitchen.

I just got this about a month ago because my old one broke. And I was basically looking for a strong microwave that can survive through almost anything. The outside surface is stainless steel, which is a new thing for me. The design is actually nicer than the picture looks- more dark against the white, making it look richer in color. For the durability, it is an overachiever. In fact, the watts are so strong that I feel like my food hasn't been cooked even though it's hot and ready. I also recently tried to put it on low power for my preferences. One of the features that I don't enjoy is the beeping at the end-it's really annoying. Overall, I am definitely keeping this microwave because I am sadly dependent on it to survive and it actually works faster and better than my prior one. Performance unusually fast and a bit loud for me. Ease of Cleaning Stainless steel makes it way easier to clean than the plastic vesrions. Ease of Use A 6 year old can operate it as easily as an adult. It has medium-sized on buttons that don't need to be pressed too hard. Durability Very sturdy so far.

We purchased a **Whirlpool MT4155SPB **(the 'B' stands for black) **Microwave Oven** to replace a GE 0.7 cubic foot one not only because the GE was dieing (power getting weaker), but also because we are in the process of changing out the white kitchen appliances to black and stainless steel. Also, my wife really liked the 30 second button on the old microwave and after a bit of research it turns out that very few brands have this feature. Those that do include GE, some Sharp, Whirlpool, and KitchenAid. We purchased the Whirlpool because of the style/design and the price (KitchenAid is nice, but the microwaves are very expensive/over-priced). This microwave has a black door and front control panel and then the top and sides are black and blue LED on the control panel. The additional size (1.5 Cu. Ft.) and power (1100 watts) are welcomed especially since this microwave doesn't really take up that much more physical countertop space than a 0.7 Cu. Ft. one does. Unfortunately, the GE had quick start buttons for the 1-6 digit button and a +30 second button as well. This one does not have that feature, but does have a Jet Start 30 second button as well as other features such as Sensor Cooking (Cook, Reheat, Popcorn). I find the popcorn and defrost options to be the most useful. When heating is complete, it has a pleasant chime and a remind beep that continues until you open the door. On top of that, a "Enjoy your meal!" message scrolls across the display! Overall, we are very pleased with this microwave. It has the features I use most and an appearance that matches the rest of my kitchen appliances all at a reasonable cost.

The Whirlpool 1100 watt 1.5 cubic foot microwave oven MT4155SPS is definitely a winner in our household.  I purchased this microwave around two years ago after going through a string of microwaves that seemed to be breaking after only a few months of usage.  This microwave has definitely outlasted them and I decided to go for a more quality machine that would last a little longer.  This microwave is a midsized unit that does still pack a powerful 1100 watt punch.  It comes complete with a turntable for even heating of your items. There are many settings on this microwave that come preprogrammed, but you are able to customize your own settings as well.  There are defrost options that seem to do a great job on my meat, earlier microwaves I had owned never seemed to defrost the meat to my liking.  The microwave comes with a one year warranty to cover any problems you might have, but like I said, mine is going two years strong!
