We bought the Whirlpool Duet when we bought our new house. The house only has gas hookups so we obviously went with the gas dryer. It was a little bit more to buy but so far it has saved us money on our electric bill.  This dryer is fabulous! The lint trap is so easy to take out which is great.  It also has some great features. There is a button you can push that will make it kick back on every so often so that your clothes don't get wrinkled. You are also able to customize how you want to dry your clothes. You can choose how hot you want it, how long you want to dry it for and there are also eco friendly choices. There are also choices for delicates, heavy duty and of course normal.  This dryer is so quiet! I can't hear it hardly at all! It also doesn't shake that much and it doesn't take that long to dry stuff! I have the matching washer and they look really great as well as work fabulously and save us money!!
