When my stove died, my friends recommended a electric range and called it the next big thing. I thought it was worth it to check it out and once I read about it's features, I immediately went to buy one. I wasn't disappointed. Temperature Control It's easy to control the buttons and the temperature distribution is even and heats everything. Durability I've had mine since 2010 so for 4 years and I haven't had a single major problems which is surprising to me because most of the stoves that I've had break down within 2-3 years. Design When I put this in my kitchen and looked around, I realized that the electric range really brought a nice vibe to the house. The design for this electric range is super modern and classy; I love it! Ease of Cleaning The glass on this electric range makes it super easy to clean and I don't have to worry about spending half a day just to clean it because it only takes a few minutes and because it's so easy, I usually clean it after I cook if I see something. Also, the smooth surface really helps when cleaning because now I don't have to clean through the coils and underneath them anymore!

I purchased our Whirlpool Free Standing Electric Range a year and half ago and am very pleased. Granted, I went from an electric stove with coil burners to a smooth top, but I am so happy! It is a cinch to clean the top whenever something spills or splatters on it. My Whirlpool range stove top has the option of which size burners to use in the front, so if you're just using a saucepan you can choose the smaller burner. I have found that oven takes longer to reach temperature than my old one, but then I 'm not sure how accurate my old one was. The oven heats very evenly. I've only cleaned it about four times but it is easier to clean than my old one because the bottom heating coil is hidden. I would recommend this!

I normally do not care fore electric ovens such as the Whirlpool White 30" Freestanding Electric Range but this one has definitely brought me pleasure in the kitchen. IT is sturdy and well constructed. It has a nice simple design that will complement the majority of decors . It is reasonably priced when compared to other freestanding electric ranges. It comes with different warranties. It is simple to use. Whirlpool has a long history of making quality products. They have acquired rival companies over the few past years and offer similar items for elss money under those labels. The Whirlpool Freestanding Electric Range provides an even cooking surface. The surface heats up quickly and does take time cooling off again. I found no hot spots inside the oven. The surface is easy enough to clean. The inside can be difficult to clean., especially the door.

This whirlpool replaced an oven we had that was 31 years old. That being said it has lots of nice features starting off with the flat top surface. The stove elements heat up immediately and makes cooking a lot faster. The self cleaning feature is very nice also as you no longer have to spray the insde down and wait to wipe it down later. Perhaps the best feature for me though is the timed baking. Just set the temperature and it beeps to let you know when its preheated...then set the time for how long to cook and when it is done it beeps to let you know the food is done. Nice sized oven with a huge window to look through. Easy to clean cooktop and since that part is all black it looks very nice when clean. No cons to mention as this oven/range does it all. Very nice!

I love this thing, I never thought I could love an electric range after having gas for so long. Our poor beloved gas range died unexpectedly on us. I looked around exclusively at other gas ranges until a friend suggested a glass cook-top. I hadn't thought about it until I started to realize how easy it would be to clean, and when I started looking at the features of this particular range, I was sold. For the price, this range has some awesome features. My favorite feature is the dual radiant element on the front. It's nice to be able to use the smaller part of the element when needed, but have the option to expand the heating area for a larger pot or frying pan. The custom broil settings are great for a cook and the safety features it includes are great for any parent. I strongly suggest taking this unit into consideration when buying a new range.

I love my Whirlpool smooth top oven because I do not need to scrub to get off the spilled food again.  If you are really tired of all that scrubbing and getting blisters from pressing so hard to remove the burnt food, I sugguest buying the Whirlpool smooth top oven range.  I love that the burners are flat and that my pots are   not siting too high up.  This option is great because children can't touch the coil and get burnt.  Yes the surface is hot where the pan goes and you can get burnt, but you don't have those nasty looking coils and drip pans.  I love the push button options on the oven.  Very easy to understand.  My teenage children are able to easily operate as well.  The oven itself is a self cleaning oven.  I love this part.  Since everybody is busy who wants to get down on your hands and knees to clean a oven, when you can turn on and just wait for the self clean to work.  In just a couple of hours it loosens up.  Once self clean is done, cool oven and wipe up burnt food.  Then you have a clean oven.  I love the light feature for the oven.  My whole family enjoys watching yumming chocolate chip cookies baking.  If you want a oven without all the fuss I would reccommend the Whirlpool Smooth top oven.

This is the first stove that I had bought in 10 years and I am very pleased with it. This stove has a flat top with electric burners. I had never used a stove like this so I was a little skeptical at first. It heats very fast and evenly and is surprisingly easy to clean with the right kind of cleaner. I have never used the bottom storage drawer but it is pretty spacious. The oven itself has 2 shelves that can be adjusted and it is average size. One of the things that I don't like is when you are baking it seems like an awful lot of steam come out the vent under the hood. The stove itself also does get quite warm soI have to keep my kids away from it. All the dials are easy to understand and use. The stove has a self cleaner that works very well. It gets the stove very hot and my entire kitchen is warm when I use the self clean function. The stove has a timer and a light. It's pretty basic and at a great price I would recommend it.

In my opinion Whirlpool is one of the best appliance companies. I bought my Whirlpool Freestanding Electric Range over 10 years old and I didn't have to fix it once. I love the flat stove burners which is a beautiful design and it is easy to clean a stove top that is flat! The controls are easy to understand and easy to use. The oven is simple to use and it cooks food quickly and evenly. I store all of my extra racks in the bottom storage drawer. The digital timer is easy to read. I only use the digital number display panel to look at the time and the temperature. I hardly use the timer or even set the timer because I usually use my own automatic timer with a loud bell on it. I used to like the white color of the electric range many years ago but now I think it is dated. If I were to purchase a new range it would definitely be silver and black. I would recommend purchasing a Whirlpool Electric Range but I would recommend buying a silver and black range instead of a white one.

I am in a new starter home and apart of the package when buying the house was this Whirpool energy efficient  electric stove. I was glad because it would save me money not only on having to buy a new one but it is energy effiecient. This is my first flat top electric stove and coming from older electirc and gfas stoves I must say, this is a little tricky when cooking. The stove heats up super fast. You have to be careful when cooking with it, because if you walk away for just a minute or two, you will burn your food. The oven part of the stove seems to take a long time to heat up, but when going, perofrms great. The best part about this stove is of course the flat top. By having this design, it makes clean up of this stove really easy. If you are looking for a stove which will save you money, this is the one for you; just as long as you have time for a little bit of a learning curve when cooking.
