We had this washer in our rental house, and it worked great for us for several years. Energy Efficiency This washer was designed to be somewhat energy efficient, but it was also made several years ago. So for the time that it came from, it did a good job, and it's not a complete energy hog. But I'm pretty sure a newer one would be more energy efficient. Cleaning Time This washer usually finishes a load (wash and rinse) in about half an hour, which is about average for the different washers that I have used. Performance Occasionally we will get a load that is a little bit unbalanced, and we hear the drum rocking in the middle a little bit. But this is a rare occurrence, and other than this, it does a great job of getting our clothes clean. Design Personally, I prefer a top-loading washer like this one, since it is easier to get clothes in and out of it, as opposed to a front-loader. Also, the knobs are easy to understand and set to where you want them. Durability This washer is several years old, and it has never shown any signs of going bad.

This washing machine is a large capacity washer, further it has the extra spin cycle that removes almost all the water from the washed clothes. It removes so much water from the washing that there is no need to use the dryer, the clothes or other washing dry quickly using only the air. This saves on electricity for dryer use. Energy Efficiency This washer has warm, hot, and cold water cycles, I always use the cold water cycle, with low-sudsing detergent. This saves on the electricity for hot water use as well as preserving the fabrics being washed. Cleaning Time There are four cycles that can be used, heavy load, regular load, wash and wear, and light or delicate load. By choosing the correct load cycle for the wash the cycles are regulated to that load making some washing cycles cleaning time very short, less than 30 minutes while the large cycle usually takes 40 minutes. Performance I have had this washing machine since 2006 without incident, never a problem. Ease of Use Very easy to use, the directions are on the inside of the lid, there is a fabric softener container inside the agitator, there is an add bleach dispenser for one to add bleach as well as directions for detergent. Very simple washing machine with great washing and spin dry power. Design The washer loads from the top, which is my choice of load types. It is very convenient to load. Durability Very durable, has terrific spin cycles.

Me and my husband bought this washer about 16 months ago. It has worked out wonderful for us. The washer is a special energy efficient one. It takes the washer longer to wash my clothes, as opposed to other washers; however, that has meant more to me than using up more energy. Saving energy is more important than the speed of the washer. We chose Whirpool due to its great reputation. My parents have a whirlpool washer ever since they were married (28 years ago)! So far this washer has been very efficient and durable. My clothes are in great condition after each and every washing. My bought a dryer too (also Whirlpool). The two machines work together well on cleaning our clothes and other apparel. The machine itself is easy to clean. The settings are all very clear. It took me literally one minute to figure out how it worked. I also like the setting of the washer having a start/stop button instead of a knob. I would recommend this washer for anyone.

I have had this washing machine for a couple of years and I think that it brakes down about once a year. I can't even tell you how much that I have put in it for pairs but I'm buy a new washer in the next couple weeks. Energy Efficiency It cleans the clothes really good when its working. Cleaning Time It doesn't take that long to clean the clothes. Performance It cleans the clothes really good in a short period of time. I normally can put it on the short cycle and I feel the clothes are still just as clean as the would be on the longer cycles. Ease of Use Its very easy to use and directions are under the lid for any questions. Design The design is really nice and looks good. Durability It breaks down once a year almost. So not very good in durability.

This washer does a great job keeping our clothes clean and runs pretty efficiently. It seems to have a pretty quick wash cycle. We use a natural laundry soap that doesn't have quite as much power as chemical based ones, but in this washing machine it does just fine. We had some problems with our dryer and when the repair man came out he took a look at the washer too and said they both should last a good long while. I do wish the drum was a bit bigger so we could fit a few more clothes in it, but it does a fine job as it.

I am a busy mom of 3 who does not need a fancy washing machine - just one that gets the job done. This whirlpool washer is just that. It does not have many of the fancy features, but it has all of the features we need and keeps up with the 3 or so loads of laundry that I do a day! Our clothes are always clean and I can even sneak in a larger load here and there when needed without overwhelming this washing machine. I have used many different detergents with it and have still seen the same nice, clean results. I am also a part-time cloth diapering mom and this washer has done a great job of my cloth diaper laundry, as well. The diapers come out very clean but the washing machine is not too rough on them - even when I forget to switch to the correct cycle. Overall, this washing is a great purchase for our family. It is nothing fancy but it id dependable and gets the clothes clean. What more could I ask for?
